First, while I made it clear I was not interested in buying new construction, Amy consistently and relentlessly pitched the idea of building a house on an undeveloped property. It was clear she'd be receiving a significant commission from this, and during every conversation she would bring up the idea of the benefits of having a new home with warranties. When I explained multiple times that I wasn't interested in new construction, partly because I knew that there would be potential for cost overruns as well as my inability to be onsite regularly to ensure that everything was going smoothly, she pitched her services to manage the construction and then questioned my ability to afford it. This was frustrating but manageable. The more significant lack of respect for me and my time came when we had worked to schedule a day of showings. I have limited time and would need to travel for the showings and the evening beforehand she canceled the entire day because it was scheduled to rain. She claimed that I would be unable to appreciate any of the houses unless it was sunny and told me to "check the Zillow listings to find the agents if I wanted to see them myself." Amy is not a professional and does not care about you or your time. There are plenty of real estate agents in the area who do and I recommend you seek out someone else. Amy will waste your time trying to sell you something you don't want and will cancel at a moment's notice for no reason.
