Nice kitchen. Four units in the inn, all with full kitchens.

Amazing lodging! I was hesitant to stay here because the phone number for the Inn had a voicemail requesting that you call a WA phone number. Do not let that deter you! This place is awesome! There are 4 units in Hercules Inn. There are 2 units upstairs and 2 downstairs. There's an unassigned car port available for each unit. It's an easy walk to historic downtown Wallace. We stayed in the upstairs unit #4. The tiled entry was large enough to accommodate our mountain bikes. The full kitchen was well appointed. Full sized refrigerator, dishwasher and microwave. The main room had 2 tables, 2 recliners, end table, lamps, satellite TV, window mounted AC and a queen sized bed. The bathroom had the essentials including shampoo, bar soap and hair dryer. Be sure to bring your own lotion and conditioner. The master bedroom didn't have AC. It did have a ceiling fan. No dresser, but there is a closet. Not many hangers, so pack your own if you're driving. King sized bed and a TV. WiFi is decent. We would definitely stay here again! We originally booked one night, but added on a second night last minute. We got a $10/night discount for our 2 night stay. Bonus! Note, there is a surcharge if you have a party larger than 2.

There's actually a queen sized bed in the living room corner; that's how big this place is!

    Molly B'damm Motel

    Molly B'damm Motel

We were on our way to Billings, Montana with our four children at the beginning of January, 2003,…read morein the evening, during a blizzard. I was six months pregnant, and driving conditions were horrible so we had to stop. This was the only motel which had a vacancy. I waited in our minivan with the children while my hubby got us a room. I was exhausted, and the kids were tired and hungry. All I wanted was a warm, clean bed to sleep in. The lady at the front desk was really nice. She showed us to our room, and gave us a little history about the place. This was a silver mining town, and a woman by the name of Molly was a "lady of the evening" here. Also, she told us that the room had recently been "rented by the month" by some men who worked in the town. She explained to us, before we saw the room, that this room was called the "Silver" room. "Hmmm", I thought, "a themed motel". She gave us our keys, and my hubby opened the door. I was literally in shock! Everything in the room had been spray-painted SILVER! The lamps, tables; EVERYTHING! The heat was completely turned off, so the room was FREEZING! There was a small heater on the wall next to the window, so my husband immediately turned it on for us. The dust ruffle to the bed was STAPLED TO THE CEILING above each bed! The floor was filthy. Our "closet" consisted of a wire hanger hanging from a nail on the wall. I was in dire need of using the restroom, so headed there next before I complained about the room to my hubby. The bathroom was filthy. So filthy, in fact, that they put a rubbermaid dish drainer rack on the shower floor so you could stand on it while taking a shower. It was old, moldy and FILTHY! I didn't even want to touch the faucet to wash my hands. The children begann to take their shoes off - that's when I had a hissy-fit. No way would I allow my children to walk barefoot or even in their stocking feet on this carpeting! We hurried and got them ready for bed, THEN took off their shoes once in their bed. After I cried for a long time, I put my coat and mittens back on, and left go sleep in our minivan. My hubby immediately followed me outside, as we still had blizzard conditions, and brought me back inside. Needless to say, I slept with all of my clothes on, and we didn't take showers the next morning. This was the most horrible place I've ever stayed in my entire life! I'm a very down-to-earth person, and I would have rather stayed in a tent than here. This is a completely honest review. Be warned: DO NOT STAY!
