The rooms are spread out in resort style bungalows - patio on 4 corners giving you privacy. Some are suites with full kitchens. We had a suite (room 12) with kitchen/dining/sitting room which is great. Outside the French doors there are lounge chairs, dining table and chairs on the patio. The coastal hiking trail is about 10-15 min walk away. Too bad we didn't have a lot of time to just sit around and enjoy the air. This is a place you want to just hang out and relax in.
Bed is comfy. Shower is good - just shower not bathtub. Good lighting. Very clean. Aircon is quiet. WiFi not bad. Best thing is they have a working towel warming rack so if you do your own laundry it'll dry in no time. They give you a welcome cake - some are carrot some are chocolate. So if you dislike one or the other you might want to mention that before arriving so you don't get a cake you have to waste. There is a pool to swim a few short laps in. Water is salty and cool, in May bearable on a sunny day otherwise would be too cold. As some bungalows - each has 2-4 rooms/suites - are a bit far from reception they'll cart your luggage with a golf cart for you. If you drive you can go all the way to your building to park.
Breakfast is pretty standard continental with cold cuts, scrambled eggs and croissants and on the third day they ran out of plain yogurt. Cakes are changed daily - one day it was a vanilla cake with orange pieces very tasty. Then they had carrot and chocolate.
Had dinner here too, good soups, pork cheeks and spaghetti with veggies are my favorites. Seafood dishes tend to be stews. Long list of desserts - strawberry ice cream is good, so is the ginger parfait and chocolate mousse. Or you can have fruit. read more
