Also, most fixtures and furnishes are good quality, however the 'wooden' floors scratched so easily I was afraid to do a lot on them. Everyone in the leasing office as well as neighbors are very friendly. Also, they're always running community events so it's easy to meet your neighbors. The apartment itself is great and spacious. The kitchen comes with a large sink and a large kitchen island. Appliances looked very new and all were in working condition. The closet in my bedroom is big enough to be a small office. The unit also has washer and dryer which is really convenient. The apartments also provide lots of amenities like a gym, pool, grill, clubroom, and even private study spaces. Also there's a secure mail room with a cool locker system. It gives me peace of mind knowing my online purchases are safe when they're delivered. The location of the apartments is really convenient. It is walking distance to all the restaurants and bars in the grove. If you're trying to hit up downtown St. Louis or CWE, it's a 5-7 minute drive.

Over the past three years this complex has taken a huge dive down into the level of unacceptable conditions. It appears they will just about rent to anyone just to put people in apartments without any regard for adjoining tenants. The tenants above us were so noisy it was a contributing factor to our decision to get away. It was constant noise. If you make the mistake of choosing this place you will be alarmed at the apathy coming from their office personnel. Any questions we had was a bother to them. At one time they tried everything except the right thing when we were dealing with an extremely noisy bathroom fan. Once they even bent the blades to "fix" it. They never did fix our ice maker in the whole time we were there. Security is a huge issue as we were alerted to kids kicking on doors during the night. Unattended children walking onto private patios was a problem. A gate at the back of the property was never locked allowing strangers on city streets to walk right into the complex. Dumpsters were constantly overflowing and infested with raccoons. Watch out! Don't get bit. The property managers along with the office manager and staff are completely indifferent to your concerns and appear to try to get by with the minimum amount of work. In summation, save yourself the time of going here to visit or renting here. Some reviews from other apartments seem like past tenants were just getting back at their former landlords. THIS is not one of those. It is an HONEST review of what we put up with. We never knew how could it could be now that we are in our new place. These people have it figured out here. The people at Park Forest -- don't have a clue!!

I have seen some reviews that seemed iffy but honestly I think the apartment manager is great! She is super responsive and if there are any issues they are fixed immediately or within a few days! The staff here are great and for the most part the other tenets are too (only one or two are "shady" complainers)... it is super dog friendly and everyone's puppies get along... the apts are pretty sound proof from my end... I don't really hear anything... It is an old building so we have ac units vice central air but it works out fine and you can always request for more if needed... so far my wife and I love it here!!! And we have friends that want to eventually move here too! The area is great! You are walking distance to the park, zoo, science center and countless museums.
