I would eat there twice a day, every day of the week. When the sandwich station was open, oh my! These people put Subway to shame. About two three times a month they would have opulent meals for lunch. Carved roast beef, crab legs, all kind of other delectables. I don't get the chance to eat there anymore but if you are the area, there are no better meal options. BTW, you have be a player or employee of the Pittsburgh Pirates to eat here.

This park has lots of activities to choose from which makes it so lively. They have pickle ball courts, a small workout area (pull up bars), a big kid and little kid playground, softball diamonds, soccer fields, and a full basketball court. On a given day you can see kids playing on the equipment, a baseball game, and kids hooping. This park also hosts softball and kickball leagues in certain parts of the year. Overall it's pretty safe. I walk through it at lunch every day, and there's always someone enjoying their lunch outside. There's usually a good number of cars in the parking lot during lunch since the lot provides plenty of shade. It's a great place to find some privacy and catch some sun rays or enjoy some jams in your car under the shade.

Parking is interesting as the stadium is in the middle of a neighborhood. So plan accordingly before you go. There is a mix of paid parking and street parking around the area but with the size of the stadium that parking can get filled rather quickly. Note e if you stand right outside of the stadium, there's a likelihood that you could catch a foul ball right on the street. I witnessed that firsthand as I was leaving the stadium and one of the vendors straight up caught a a fly ball coming over the stadium wall with his bare hands. It was quite a sight to see. I feel bad for any cars driving by during that time though.

This recreation center has been the only place where kids could come and have a playground or any sort of organized activities. They have the only remaining Tiny Tot program for 3/4 kids since Apollo Beach discontinued it some years ago. The playground has been expanded and combined to a single mulched area now fenced to keep out the stray dogs of the past and the modern new indoor gym for basketball leagues also. Many programs offered range from preschool to senior level. They offer basketball leagues for seniors, teens, youth, and yoga available as well as weight room and after school camps.
