Visited this facility for a birthday celebration and enjoyed our time. They were busy during the time we came because the highschool bowling league was going on. For a cold, snowy day, this place was pretty full. We waited a little bit, but they had reservations for 3 lanes for the party. We got lanes 4,5,6. Each lane has a designated table that seated 5. The bowling lanes were in good shape and I liked how the pins lighted up. They had fun features on the electronic scoring system, and the score was accurate. Music was playing overhead for a fun vibe. Service was friendly. They had an arcade by the entrance. They sell food and have a bar with bar seating that looked like a good spot to chill. Great place to bowl. I go here at least once a week. I bowled here for years before all the updates. I just recently used the pro shop and was really pleased with the drilling on my new black widow ball. The only down side is the location of the pro shop and the signage for the entrance. It is in a very hidden location behind the locker room and the sign is really small just outside the locker room. It would help to have the sign hanging from the ceiling outside the locker area. I was going to send my business elsewhere because I didn't think they had a pro shop. read more

I've been cosmic bowling at Heritage Lanes twice now, and it has always been such a great time! Heritage does a great job with cosmic bowling. Cosmic bowling is every Friday night, 9-11pm, for $11/person. That includes unlimited bowling for 2 hours and your shoe and ball rental. That's a really good deal. Reservations are highly recommended as they fill spots quickly! Heritage is nicely kept. Clean, updated, and the lanes are well oiled. The balls aren't chipped or anything; they actually look like giant billiard balls! I got a kick out of that. Heritage also serves food and they have a full bar, as well as a small arcade and a bowling shop. The bar is the most gorgeous bar I have ever seen in a bowling alley, the beer is cheap and good! They even have a giant yard of beer you can get that has its own tap on it. Woah. The food is your typical pizza, fried foods, etc., but it's still really really good! I loved the soft pretzel sticks that I ordered. This is a great bowling alley and I'm glad Kokomo has it! It's so nice to see a kept up bowling alley that isn't run down and smelly. We have lived here a couple of years and have yet to find a time when they have open bowling. Seems like this place is only for league play. I called this morning to see when we could bowl today and was told that they were open for bowling until 4:30 but when we showed up they said they were closed until 4pm. Hate that there is no other place in Kokomo for some family fun. Ended up in Lafayette today where we had more options. read more

Absolutely horrible experience. I paid $75 for 2 hour glow bowl for me and my 4 kids. 45 mins of the 2nd game for my lane to be fixed by the "mechanic" and then it was closing time and our game couldn't even be finished. I told the manager 3 different times who then wanted to claim I only waited "one min for one issue" implying what I was stating was a lie. Very lazy employees and not very good customer service. & the lanes broke every other turn and you spent 20 to 30 mins wasting the time you had to bowl waiting for it to be fixed all for a grown man to tell you and your family that it didnt happen. It's a waste of money. Replying to the the passive aggressive reply from this company. I came politely explaing my issue. You clearly have looked at the wrong lane in your system because I can assure you me and all 5 people in my family can vouche that we waited longer than "ONE MIN" . Judging by the back to back issues with the lane itself, it seems very possible your so called system is glitching too. HAD we not had to wait for you to fix your lanes that game would've been finished. Also, when I came to the front desk the 2nd time with my issue no one "TRIED" to do anything but tell me I was wrong. So it's ok that you're trying to make yourself look good in the reviews. But had anyone TRIED to understand my issue or TRY to reimburse me in ANY way then I wouldn't be writing this review right now. HAD the front desk gave me and my family the free game cards I wouldn't be so upset about wasting my time and money tonight with your company. But the hard truth is THAT DIDNT HAPPEN any of the 3 times me or my husband came to the front desk with the issue at hand. read more

Extremely disappointed in Heritage, went in with my family on a Sunday and was turned away. There reason " The whole bowling alley was reserved for a Church group". There were plenty of lanes open, we've been going to Heritage bowling alley for a long time and have been going before it was updated. We have never experienced being turned away. There needs to be better communication from the staff to the customers OR SOME HUGE SIGN IN FRONT STATING THE WHOLE BOWLING ALLEY is reserved for an event. read more

Very well taken care of in the lane area. They use the 40 foot oil process so you must have a good turning ball in your bag if you throw a hook. Only problems I have seen is the parking lot needs to be better attended to during the snow season. We were dragging our bags through the snow and ice and slip sliding into the building. But it is very clean. The other problem is the size of the alley itself. There is very little room to walk in the isle. Only one person at a time can get through, and this can get hectic during leagues. Be prepared to stand if you bring your family with you during league play. There is only about 4 booths to sit at, and about 4 extra chairs at most lanes, some only have 1. If you had ever been to The Astro Bowl or Don Lowreys East, then you will feel a little cramped! I know it takes a lot of money to rebuild these places but they have tried multiple times to make it comfortable to no avail. The bowling is great, the lanes are awesome, but there is just no room to move about. If they could take the time and money to redevelop the alley to mimic the East side alley (where Wal-Mart stands today, in the building that stands to the South West) then we could have the best alley in Indiana! I am sure they had no idea that Wal-Mart was coming or they would have stayed there, because it was in a great location for business and was large enough to hold 2 PBA events at 1 time. I love the people of Heritage Lanes, they make you feel right at home, and do their best to keep everyone happy, I just wish there was more seating and room to move about. But with that comes loads of money to be spent, and with it not in a location that gets a lot of attention it wouldn't be worth the hassle of making a few more feet here and there. Maybe someday I will win the lottery and offer a deal to the building owners in front of Wal-Mart they can't refuse, and bring back The Astro Bowl. It would definitely be a great investment with the location it's in. But that's all dreams, if you want to have a good time bowling, go to Heritage Lanes, they will make it worth your while! read more

We were on vacation in Kokomo and decided to take the kids bowling. This building isn't much of a looker on the outside (remodeling? I don't know.) but the inside is nice. The gentleman at the counter was friendly and we all got our shoes and made our way to our 2 lanes and to choose our ball(s). While looking around for just the right ball the gentleman brought us a light ball for our little bowlers (apparently they keep the lightest ones behind the counter. I can't remember for sure, but I think it was a 6lb ball?) After rolling a few balls, the gentleman came back again and pulled up the bumpers for our lanes. I thought that was very kind of him to do without us even having to ask. My kids really appreciated not getting so many gutter balls! :) We wound up bowling 2 games (I TOTALLY won the first game. Just sayin, cause I've never won before.) ;) and had a great time. Talking about it later my husband and I both agreed that was possibly the most fun we've ever had bowling. We didn't have one single problem with either of our lanes. The pins always reset. The ball was always returned. The slow rolling balls that my 4 year old daughter pushed down the lane... they always made it. Good times! We'd go again! read more
