The only option is to wait until there's no time to decide whether you want to move before you get another lease offer. Ultimately - that's the real test. If you can't afford a 10% increase after the first or second year, it might not be worth it. And they have a persistent issue with mice! Over a year of finding mouse droppings in my oven drawer and counter tops - the maintenance team has gone above and beyond to try and fix it, but it's clearly a facility-wide issue. Again, shotout to Gary and his team for maintenance.

The police have been called several times to this complex for shooting, DV and theft. Cars are broken into in front of the building without any video surveillance and packages have been stolen. They had a prostitute living on the 2nd floor, and harassing neighbors until so many people complained and the police were called. When we renewed our lease we were told we would get a renewal bonus but we even had a hard time with that as well. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND LIVING HERE!!!!!

I went ahead and told the office to add that time the district manager was there she responded to me. Oh, you need to call the cops. Yes I'm aware that I just wanted to let you know what was going on. She then said oh you need to call the cops like I can't do anything for you I don't care that that happened. Not to mention all the drug addicts that are coming in and out of there. There's also a homeless person sleeping in the elevator at the time it was cold outside, so I understand why he was there, but still he was able to get into the apartments and found a nice place to sleep. There is another one that I saw when I went to take my dog out he was standing in the corner talking to himself and since I had the dog, I wasn't that worried about it. I had my hood on when I walked out the door, and I saw they took it off to make sure that I could see what he was doing only to find him right next to me. The man then took a couple steps back. walked past him and walked very fast and I almost ran into the apartment and shut the door. There's always something going on. I found out later that someone on the same floor as me is a sex offender who isn't register it sure if they are still there.

However the paint job is terrible, the kitchen cabinets and bathroom cabinets are patched up in order to fix removed paint, the carpet wasn't new when we moved in, part of it was already torn, but that wasn't hard to deal with, whereas the guy at the office is very unprofessional. We had told him that we wanted to move to a closer assigned parking spot since it has been vacant since we moved in and nobody has parked in it, we have 2 children under 2 and walking a far distant from our apartment to the car in the rain and cold is a recipe for illness, anyways, we had asked him, he said he'll let us know. Little did we know we informed him of an empty spot, and the next day there was a car parked there. Its very unprofessional. The car parked didn't even have the parking permit with the spot number until 2 days after it's been parked there. We've been eyeing that parking spot for a long time and finally built the courage to request it from them and this is what we get? Shows how much they value their renters.
