honestly horrible place to live. we started our lease with a great tour. after that during our move in there were drug addicts living in the east stairwell. when informing t he office they did nothing. the unit directly across from us had addicts coming and going at all hours. we even had them coming to our door demanding drugs. complaints to the office meant nothing. my rent Was set but somehow we had nearly 500 in fees and utilities every month. The toilet leaked all the time and maintenance fixed it by replacing parts that weren't broken and letting it leak. The fridge light was out when we moved in and after 8 maintenance requests and 1 year it is still out. There was no parking for me upon move in and I was on a waiting list for the whole lease. My car was towed 4 times. I spent 5,000 in tows and tickets. My car was broken into so regularly I got accustom to needing to get strangers out of my car, my insurance won't replace my windows anymore, and I had to install LoJack to keep my Car. During my move out between the time I loaded several boxes and came back with more someone got into the truck and took all my children's clothes. I implore any parent wanting to keep their children safe and anyone whi wants a peaceful home life do not live here. Choose a cardboard box under a bridge. I have never left any reviews anywhere but this slum inspired me to make an account just to warn others. Parking is absolutely terrible, if you have a pickup truck or any larger than compact vehicle good luck fitting in your spot without getting door dinged every time by adjacent spots. Garbage overflowing everywhere onto the narrow roads. Girlfriends window got smashed in by a rock first week parked where all the cars park along the street since there is no guest parking availability. Bunch of tweakers also live on those streets in their cars snooping around at night through peoples cars. Doesn't feel safe walking around here I witnessed multiple drug deals when coming home late from work. Can't get ahold of management when you need to and voicemail full so can't even leave a message. 1) The office staff is great, great appearance. 2) Maintenance staff if okay should be a bit cleaner in the appearance and smell. I have had a Maintenance man come a few times smelling of cigarettes even after they leave my home it smells a bit. 3) The apartment exterior is pretty good no complaints. 4) Parking is okay hate double parkers and rude neighbors though. 5) Pet friendly apartment, just noticed a few people who don't clean after their pet which is gross I've seen 2 people step on poo that was on the sidewalk and road. 6) During covid-19 the management has been so great at working with residents and keeping things running. 7) I wish we had newer washer and dryers as these have to be at least 6+ years old and I have to dry 2 or 3 times for 1 load. read more

Can't wait to move away. One of the neighbors is running a part-time commercial workshop out of his home with sometimes high-pitched, whiny machinery noise that sounds like a huge, migraine-inducing dental drill. He likes to work usually late in the day, running through 11pm sometimes. You can hear the racket from the parking lot. I hope he doesn't start a fire one day or kill us all with some carcinogen. Nobody is doing anything about it, so, if you have a noisy hobby or you want to bring your noisy job home, then this place is good. Hey, they even let you put up a solid wood fence around your patio, with cemented-in posts! Yay for privacy! Perfect for hiding what kind of machinery is causing loud construction-site noises, and whether it might be dangerous in a residential setting. All the staff are nice. This place should be shut down. The awful staff and poor management is a huge issue. Not to mention I've had someone on the floor below me pull a gun on someone over a parking spot. When I first moved in someone reported having their bike stolen (should have listened to that red flag). All parking is reserved, yet I had to have 3 people towed from my spots in the year I stayed here (to add to that the towing people always want different forms of proof that it's your spot and the office fails to give you the proper forms and the sticker scanner they give you doesn't work half the time and you have nowhere to park because parking is a disaster due to there being too many apartments for the amount of land they have for the complex (also good luck getting an extra spot they have a wait list). There's constantly trash everywhere because of this. The recycle bins aren't big enough and the trash cans constantly are overflowing everywhere. They have zero respect in accommodating overnight works and refuse to schedule anything (do I expect you to wake up in the middle of YOUR sleep to help me with things? No. Just because the suns up doesn't mean everyone else is. Let's not forget about our healthcare workers, construction, etc.). There are homeless people everywhere. Not only in the surrounding areas , but they live in the trees and on the street below where everyone parks and there's a Breaking Bad meth lab style RV that lives down there. My boyfriends car got broken into down there (due to the wait for a parking spot he had to park there for over a month). I was just there, which prompted me to write this to warn possible future tenants not to risk their safety over this trash can of an establishment, and there are multiple police vehicles in the complex patrolling with K-9 unit. That sums up the area. Now here's some brief info on the space you'll be living in. It's also trash! They claim stuff is upgraded but the appliances look like there from the early 2000s. Dishwasher didn't even clean my dishes after I pre scrubbed them, had to dry my clothes twice every time no matter how small the load was, they redid the counters before we moved in and you can tell it was not professionally done as it's not even properly glued down and they're also the cheapest counters there are. If you went anywhere else they'd call it a standard model. Don't ask for an upgraded apartment and waste your money. Live somewhere else. Trust the reviews. I am exceedingly frustrated with this living situation and we count down the days until we are able to leave. When I originally moved into this place I was excited because superficially it appeared that everything was new and well kept. Unbeknownst to me, all features that are superficially nice are just that, superficial. Appliances are old and building consistently tells us that their disfunction is "normal" (for the record I have never lived in a place where I need to dry my clothes or run the dishwasher 3 or 4 times.) While maintenance comes quickly, most of the staff offers inadequate fixes and no matter how many times I've requested masks be worn, certain maintenance workers consistently forget. In the building only one parking spot is given per family. While we only have one vehicle, the limited number of guest spots on property (exactly 10) is often taken for several days on end by other apartment residents and space is not provided for guests. I have a friend pregnant with twins and yet she had to park up a hill and down the street outside of the building because the alternative for a day pass is $10. That is ridiculous. Due to the moretorum, the building staff is unable to do anything regarding problem residents, while I accept I can not hold them totally responsible for this, the increase instances of tenants violating contracts continuously leaves my family feeling unsafe. There is dog poop everywhere, including sidewalks which makes walking difficult and inconvenient. Currently we are being told to remove all items from our porches due to power washing. While inconvenient due to limited space, the buildings' fix is to simply lay a tarp across our carpets and brings our grills and furniture in doors. Excellent fix when I have an active toddler in home. Do not move here. Please do yourself that favour. read more

I would give a higher rating if they addressed the below issues: 1. they do not enforce nor assist in the clean up of dog issues. That is to say, if you own a dog, be prepared to see other dog owners walk their dogs without a leash, AND, not pick up their dog's poop. The grounds crew only sometimes cleans up the area--and when they do, it's only to collect the leaves that fall. Dog poop is everywhere in the grass. I do not recommend letting your children play or run through the grassy areas. 2. The garbage locations overflow with waste. The bins remain full and recycling too---so much that people just stack it on top or next to the garbage areas. 3. Pay your rent online with a credit card. If you pay by a check, there's no guarantee they will credit your account and not someone else's. If these issues were addressed, living here would be a 5 star experience. I love the front desk people. I love the Amazon Hub package delivery system. I love our apartment. read more

I'd give it zero stars if I could! People may say the apartment itself is nice with good amenities but you can find better I promise! The frustration and heart ache I've had and loss of money to live here. Worst mistake. Whatever you do, do not waste your money here if you want to be lied to, have your packages stolen and sent back to the post "office" by the office and mail WITHOUT your consent, (went to both post offices and no tracking of package being sent back) and never be able to reach management to communicate issues. All you get is attitude and careless responses. Every time I try and talk to management or any of the front desk ladies, they make me feel uncomfortable and left in the dark with any issue I may have. Batuol especially has made it a living night mare to talk to! She even had the audacity to let me know "well it's not my fault you don't have money." When I was trying to figure out why they charged me another 75$ late fee on my rent when they pulled it out 10 days after the 1st and I was told it was paid already! I don't want to have to be in a yelling match just to try and figure out a solution. No one does. Also I was SCAMMED and MANIPULATED into a 2bd/2b when resigning my lease and was told I would move in a certain date and they got 500$ from me for the NON refundable deposit and application fees. I specifically explained to her I was only able to afford this amount, I would be out of town certain dates, and explained all stipulations for transferring to the 2bd, and then called during my vacation that the apartment was ready and needed to be moved in that day + over 2500 and rent due, and lost out on that apartment and had to resign regardless another year because I had no other options of getting out of it. Being scammed out of that money and lied to like that and the way I was treated, made me feel like they wanted to keep the money for themselves and would not negotiate making it right. It's so unprofessional the way they treat the tenants! This has been the worst ending to a 5 year lease with this apartment complex! It's an unsafe area! Cars get broken into, parking spaces are too small so your car gets banged up, and they could care less about safety even tho they say there's safety patrol every single night driving around. You'll be saving yourselves by finding a complex that cares and you won't have to deal with the bs that this one makes you feel like. I'm so happy I only have a few more months here read more

The asshole management team at this apartment complex has fucked up again!They are changing the parking system which has never worked properly and they told us that no one would be charged or towed if they were in the wrong spot for the month of June.. So the last two days, me and Gordy have tried to use our "new" spot,a.. and have been unable to as someone was still parking in it. I just went upstairs and found out my car was towed cuz I was parked illegally??WTF?? There is a massive line at the office of people complaining and they are getting the tow company to return my car supposedly, but I had a vet appt scheduled for now! Maintenance is trash spiderwebs all throughout the buildings. Parking is a travesty unless you like hiking up steep hills after parking a quarter-mile away from your apartment. I say this because even with a two bedroom apartment they give you one parking spot and there are less than five guest parking spots scattered throughout the whole complex which are always taken which means that you will have to park on the street (A street that is constantly patrolled by bums and drug addicts) at the bottom of a huge hill! Lord forbid you have to walk up to the second or third floor after reaching the summit of the hill everyday. Had a hard day and just wanna park up by the leasing office? Hope you're quick because if your car is not out of there before they open they will immediately tow your vehicle which costs at the very least 500 to get out of the tow yard every time. Maintenance has no clue what they're doing and tried to fix my washer machine twice and broke the laundry door in the process as well as flooding my floor twice causing damage in the kitchen which they are trying to charge me for out of my security deposit. Cheaply built apartments, multiple roof leaks. The best thing about this apartment are the views if you get lucky enough to get a top for apartment on the outskirts of the complex. They truly are asking outrageous prices for the quality of apartment that you're actually getting. These are one of those apartments that you look at online that has a really good price and really awesome pictures and then you show up and the apartment is actually dirty and worn and the price is more than advertised. I would not recommend these apartments to any of my family or friends. And if you do consider moving in I suggest that you get extra paperwork and pictures of every single little thing otherwise they will tell you not to worry about it and try to screw you over and take your security deposit. When I first moved into my apartment the floors were dirty nothing was cleaned including appliances. windows were worn and there was damages were strewn about the apartment but was told that it would all be fixed before we moved in. This never happened. First day of moving in we had to clean the whole apartment ourselves carpets were disgusting and never got replaced, stains everywhere, even the Windows were weathered heavily and we were told these it all be fixed before we moved in (not to mention the countless electrical issues including light switches that did nothing other light switches that controlled outlets and outlets that just didn't work). I moved out of these apartments three months ago and I'm still working hard to get my actual security deposit back. And lastly safety is a huge issue at these apartments their bums and tweakers always wandering around the apartment complex and on the adjacent streets. I had my catalytic converter stolen out of my vehicle as well as my vehicle broken into. my friends vehicle was also broken into twice as well as getting hit buy another car in the leasing office lot. my girlfriends car was also broken into and littered with garbage from the the bum that Decided to spend the night in the car. The complex has poor security and no cameras except for the ones inside the leasing office. These apartments are overall overpriced, unsafe, and careless. These are truly my experiences do with them what you will. I have never left a review on yelp before but I felt I had to after staying at these apartments for over a year and getting put through hell. Hope this helps the apartments step it up and helps anyone thinking about becoming a future victim.. I mean resident. P.S. I would not have written this review had they not tried to screw me over on my security deposit. While I would like to give 5 stars, we honestly can't. We have lived here since 2013 and just signed our 4th lease. When we first moved in, our washer was having issues. After a little bit of a fuss to get them to look at it, they finally came in and replaced it with another washer from a different unit. We thought everything was good, until we realized that half our apartment was now flooding because one of the hoses became disconnected. After all that though, we haven't had any major issues. The apartment is nice and the price is decent for us being here so long. I do agree that rents are a little high, but that necessarily isn't the complexes fault considering the prices of surrounding properties. Unfortunately that is the trend. We are currently in a two bedroom and while my brother was living with us, there were several issues with parking. He paid $25 a month for a permit, but was never actually able to find a spot in the complex, forcing him to stay with friends. He finally moved out after his car was broken into. While it sounds like it's bad, these things only occurred in the beginning. They have implemented new parking policies since then and that seems to have helped a lot. The office staff has changed a lot lately. It seems that they are just trying to find the best people to be able to manage the property. Things have slowly begun to get better. I have a love/hate relationship with the new policy to pay only online. While I love the convenience of not having to rush to the office before they close, it is annoying to have to pay a $50 fee if I wanted to use a credit card to pay. Otherwise the normal fee to use a bank account is only $3.95. We ended up having to break our lease in August of 2016 and there were lots of back and forth before finally getting everything resolved. read more

Is it possible to give minus about a million stars?! It should at least be an option to give ZERO. NEVER LIVE HERE! This was the absolute worst place I have ever had to deal with! Everything is highly overpriced. The entire staff is completely unorganized, incompotent and inconsistent. After moving out 4 weeks ago I'm still being charged for things, and three times the price that was said. It actually started from the VERY FIRST day I moved in: The office forgot I was moving in, and did not have the apartment ready at all, no paint, no blinds, cabinets were being put in, etc. Had to come back later with all my movers, delaying the entire day They were still painting and doing the cabinets the entire time I was moving things in, which made it very difficult when unloading vehicles and bringing up the furniture. I didn't get my blinds installed on any windows for 3 weeks, and they broke within a week after that. I had to wait until the end of the day when someone got around to actually giving me a copy of a key to this apartment. I had no guaranteed parking spot for the 2 years I lived there, even though I had a 2 bedroom. I almost had my car towed at 545 in the moning because the office didn't give out correct colored passes to all the residents. They lost a package of mine in their mailroom for 14 months Another time they couldn't find my amazon package, even though Amazon guaranteed they had signed for it. I had to go into the mailroom myself (when they said, "you can go in and look for yourself" and was able to find it shortly I was charged 4 different rents in 2 years Upon my lease renewal I was offered one price, accepted it, then 3 days later i was offered another one which was $200 higher and had no choice but to take the higher or risk further increasing I was punished and charged more money for them not charging me the right amound of rent. I gave notice to move out within 30 days (they only require 20) in person in office, they lost the move out notice, and had to re-give it in an email, and had to re-give my forwarding address 3 times because they kept losing it (or just asking everytime for no reason?) On my move out day, they forgot I had scheduled to move out and I had to pull up emails to prove it to them before they would send someone over to do a walk-through with me 5 days after my move out, I was still charged the next month's rent The facility itself doesn't even have 1 spot per apartment. There is garbage and broken glass EVERYWHERE, at least twice I have almost stepped on needles in the parking lot. Since they have no parking, you are most often forced to park up on the street, which is very dangerous, didn't go a day without seeing a broken car window or smashed up vehicle. It was also uncomfortable walking to my car in the morning when it is still dark and there are often homeless people digging through the dumpsters. Moved out on May 31st, the maintenance guy who did the walkthrough with me said I would probably be charged about $250, just got the bill today and it's actually $726.01. WHAT A JOKE! I can't believe I'm still dealing with this horrible company, I cannot wait until you are out of my life forever! Funny side note- between emails and texts, you have asked me to give you feedback 13 times in the last 2 months, somehow I can't imagine it would actually do anything to make this horrible place any better! read more

Poor management, bad parking situation. They took over a month to make me a key for the front door (I had to ransom their office key) and I still don't have a key for the gym/pool. Both of our cars were towed in the first week of living there AND the maintenance guy (who also works for the towing company....hrmmm...) put a permanent window sized sticker on the driver side window of my car for having 1 month expired tabs. Today UPS delivered a package to the office. I went to pick it up and was told "UPS hasn't been here yet" by Ashley. I went home and checked my package tracking and Ashley signed for my delivery 3 hours earlier. When I called and asked Ashley about it, she told me to "wait and see if they deliver it tomorrow" When I asked why she would sign for it without actually receiving it she told me that my attitude was bad. When I asked to speak to her boss she told me she was the manager, when I asked for the contact info for HER BOSS she hung up on me. Repeatedly tried to call back but there was no answer. I walked up to the office to find the door locked and another tenant trying to get in for some service (it was 5:20 pm the office doesn't close until 6:00). I can't wait to move. read more

Parking LOOKED plentiful - but i wouldnt know. We walked into the goregeous leasing office talking amunsgt ourselves excited at the possibilities of a new apartment since our lease would be up next month at the apartments down the street. I made eye contact with 3 of the 4 women in the leasing office 1 was on the phone but i smiled and sat in the very comfortable chairs outside the door and tried to wait respectfully for the others to finish their conversation, (all leasing agents ) to be honest i dont know what they were talking about but the convo didnt sound important or even buisness related, but then again I dont know. We sat there for less than 5 minutes without a greeting and as every second went by I felt more abd more disrespected, if there were other tenants or even other people other than the leasing agents in the building I would have waited longer. We couldn't take it anymore so I stood and wished them a good day and told them i felt disrespected, because whatever the 3 of them were talking about no one could even say Hi. I pay too much where i am currently at to be ignored and disrepected, I will not be spending close to 2k a month for the same treatment at this place. Maybe I am wrong for my reaction but.. seriously? 4 people and no acknowldgement of us until I very respectfully told them i was only there to look at their apartments. Bad business. We recently just left these apartments after a year long lease of a 2 bed 2 bath unit and from start to finish it was horrible . Everything about this place is horrible when we showed up we where told "we did your pre move in inspection and everything looked fine I'm pretty sure your unit is one of our upgraded models however the bathroom door is broken we have a maintenance request for one of our more experienced maintenance guys to come fix " so we show up to our unit and it was filthy dust and dirt all over everything cigarette burns screen door ripped off and laying down fat nothing about the unit was updated a dryer and dish washer that had to be used 5 times just to work , however we reported everything to the front office about how nasty our apartment was when we moved in which is odd because everyone is charged with a $200 cleaning fee , fast forward to us moving out we are also charged with this fee despite our unit being trashed when we moved in. We where told that there records show our unit was cleaned the day before we moved in ? So in 24 hours the unit accumulated years worth of dirt , grime and dust , with a ripped of screen door ? They even acknowledged the pictures we sent in on how dirty the unit was and still charged me $200 cleaning fee and on top of that never came to fix the bathroom door despite reaching out repeatedly. That's just the move in process parking at this place is even worse there is probably 4 guess spots in the entire complex not including the spots out infront of the office and most of them are taken by the same people that leave there extra car in that spot and never move it even though HighGrove tells you that they check the "Guest spot " outside our unit had the same broken down car in it for 4 months , they also tell you there is street parking , well the street parking is full of homeless peoples cars that take up all the free parking that they are living in so if you have to park on the street you'll have to move your car before 6am because parking enforcement writes tickets everyday at that time . Also if you're looking to move your family here I'd strongly recommend looking elsewhere in our year lease i personally seen multiple overdoses just outside the complex by Home Depot including 2 homicides in matter of fact 3 days before we moved out a man was shot and killed at the entrance of the apartment this place is not safe , not only was there catalytic converter being stolen from several residents there teenagers running around all hours of the night stealing and being so bad they've even closed the pool but it's okay because they have "security " that patrols the units . I have nothing good to say about this complex So I hope you read this review before considering moving in . I'm willing to bet that a majority of there good reviews are due to HighGrove offering cash / gift card incentives around holiday time via email in exchange for good reviews . read more

As far as outside maintenance goes, we are not receiving the best of cleaning in our area surroundings being a renter in the top floors. We have been here for more than 3 years and they never cleaned up the moss on our side of the building even after numerous requests. We are starting to feel uncomfortable with moss growing on our side of the building etc. read more
