A few years ago, I was seen here by Dr. Bowen while experiencing severe flu-like symptoms. I also had a bite on my arm that appeared a few days before I became very sick. I specifically showed him the bite and asked whether it could be related to my symptoms. His response was "No, I think you just have COVID. Go to City Market and get a test." I was then sent out the back door. Why he couldn't test me there I have no idea.... I followed his instructions, got tested elsewhere, and the result was negative. Dr. Bowen was rude, dismissive, and made me feel uncomfortable, as if my symptoms weren't valid or worth taking seriously. Over the years that followed, my health continued to decline. I became progressively sicker. It has since been confirmed that I have chronic Lyme disease. Luckily I had taken a photo of the bite and when I showed the physician who diagnosed me with Lyme the same bite I had shown Dr. Bowen that day, they confirmed it was consistent with a Lyme tick bite along with proper testing. Had this been properly evaluated at the time, my illness may have been caught early and treated before progressing into a chronic, life-altering condition. Instead, I am now living with a lifelong disease that could potentially have been prevented with appropriate medical attention. The dismissal of my symptoms and the failure to investigate a possible tick-borne illness had serious and lasting consequences for my health. I cannot believe this is my reality now. I hope this review encourages more thorough evaluations and genuinely patient-centered care in the future, because what I experienced here was dismissive, incompetent, and a complete failure of medical care.

Not professional, I never seen the dentist I only seen dental hygienist and she didn't even give me eye protection during her bogus dental cleaning . After I refused X-rays since I knew I wouldn't want to return I went to waiting area where the office staff ( 2 women one sitting down on a long phone call seemed to be frustrated explaining a billing issue and the other was also on phone so I waited over 20 mins ( about as long as my very short cleaning ) I was then told to pay for the dental cleaning which I know is 100% covered. I was not a new patient and had never not seen the actual dentist before and then treated to this demand for payment from the two office staff in a very unprofessional tone I was told that they do not work for my insurance and would not be submitting it to them ( why ask for insurance from customer and then demand the customer pay just because they both were having a bad day at their miserable office ) I had been told the reason I had to wait months to see anyone that they were short staffed and couldn't keep dental hygienists ( I wonder why ) still waiting to hear from the dentist that I went to see but never got to meet or see on this third visit that was routine and should not have been ruined by poor service and angry women who try to extort payments for services 100% covered by my two dental insurances! Still waiting to hear from the actual dentist that I asked to contact me.

I'm a Physical Therapist - I'm all about preventative care, but some dentists go way over board because they can get more money from insurance companies. This office is fantastic! They offer exceptional care with high-tech equipment, but they are willing to make an individualized plan with each patient based on the patient's own history. If you only need a cleaning - then that's what you get! They don't force X-rays and 5min exams just to charge more money. In addition to all of that, while I was there I had my 11 month-old daughter with me. The receptionist happily took my daughter while I got my cleaning. When I was finished my daughter came back happily chewing a new toothbrush and had a cute sticker! This place is very family friendly and personalized with the care they provide!

I would like to preface this by saying I am in no way connected to this facility by family relationship or paid testimonial, and completed a full 90 days here. I have experienced truly horrible treatment at other facilities and was incredibly hesitant to come to residential treatment here. I came in incredibly skeptical and vocal of my skepticism. From the very first time I spoke to Madison, the admissions director, I was immediately put at ease. Though I experienced challenges throughout my time here, the staff has handled them professionally and ensured my comfort and safety throughout. The administrative staff handles feedback very well and are willing to make reasonable changes to programming as appropriate. I came in largely not wanting to get sober for the long run, and am leaving both inspired and hopeful in my recovery. Before attending Momenta, I could not imagine a future for myself, and I could not be more grateful to the staff here for their help in ensuring I felt confident in my life and recovery before discharge. Alumni are a huge part of the program here. We frequently had past clients speak at Friday meetings, or come by for dinner. This in itself is a huge testament to Momenta's commitment to support not only while clients are in the program, but as they progress to other living situations and stages of their recovery. I have made connections here that I feel confident will last a lifetime, and I know that should I ever struggle in the future, Momenta will continue to be a resource for me. Before I share about my personal (incredible experience) at Momenta I would first like to address…read morethe negative reviews left by people because they nearly prevented me from coming to the most remarkable healing journey I have embarked on to date. I do not doubt or question that what was shared was how they felt their experience was for them. However, as a woman in her mid 40s and a business owner I will also say that having been through Momenta and experienced love, honesty, rigorous reflection and hard work as a result of what the Momenta team helped me to discover within, I can honestly say, that if someone is asked to leave it is for both the safety of the the fellow women in residence as well as acknowledging that Momenta has tried every reasonable path to help the individual and it is no longer in their best interest to stay there, whatever the reason may be. That is very comforting to me. So please do not let one persons experience deter you from finding the healing, peace, love and (for me the most crucial piece of the experience) only authentic sense of Safety I've ever known. I came to Momenta broken beyond all recognition. I truly was unable to discern what was real from what was not real. I had been numbing a lifetime of traumas (big and small) with substances which "worked" until they didn't. When I initially went, I figured if I can just deal with my traumas in a healthy way then I won't have issues with addiction. For me, I came to discover that was not my truth. Instead I learned that getting better wasn't simply a matter of dealing with my traumas, getting "sober" or just dealing with life better. Recovery is a journey that one must choose every day and if one does, Momenta is a beautiful place to get started on it. There I learned to love and trust myself for the first time. I learned what a healthy community looked and felt like for the first time and how much I enjoyed and need it in my life. I learned that life is going to keep throwing hard things at you regardless of whether you are on this journey or not, but with the right tools and support it is much easier to get through. I lost my mom unexpectedly half way through and had to leave for a brief time to attend to that. Every day, every step of the way, I was held, loved, supported and NEVER FELT ALONE through one of the most painful experiences of my life. I can not fathom how I would have gotten through that and remained sober without the people and principles taught at Momenta. Since completing my 90 days at Momenta life has continued to be difficult, challenging, uncertain and frustrating. However, I now get to experience it fully which includes being present, feeling not just the hard but the beautiful moments too. I am discovering a playfulness within myself that had long since been shoved out of sight and am trustful that it is safe to do so as often as I choose. I am learning how to use my voice in effective ways. So many tools I was not only taught but was able to practice so that when it comes time to use them in "real life" it doesn't feel intimidating but empowering. I could go on and on, but this is already too long as it is and I would rather you just call and speak with any one on staff there about any questions or concerns you have about attending. You will be so glad you did. Even if you decide Momenta isn't right for you, I would be willing to bet, you will have a life changing phone conversation at the very least. Yes, Momenta is that amazing from start to finish. Except there is no finish. Once you are there, you are family. Period.

If I could give 10 stars I would!…read moreAfter calling multiple places in aspen only to receive voicemails or be told the doctors aren't in (thanksgiving is a few days away), I decided to try my luck in basalt and I'm sure glad I did. The receptionist on the phone was extremely nice and was able to get me in to see Dr Eileen the same day. After arriving and stepping into the office I felt so at peace, the ambiance and diffusers they had going were so lovely along with all the pretty orchids. Dr. Eileen took me back to the chiro room and explained everything she was doing in detail. She used a some tools like the activator and percussion in a gentle yet effective way which I really appreciate. After doing my adjustment I was already starting to feel so much better but to end my session, Dr. Eileen attached some electro massager (can't remember what it's called) to my problem areas and allowed me to rest with them for about 25 minutes which was AMAZING. My entire experience was so positive and felt so healing and peaceful. I'm grateful for meeting and being worked on by Dr Eileen. Not only is she a master at her craft, she is so kind and genuine and does such a great job at making you feel calm and at home while making you physically feel better too. I look forward to my next visit. And ps they have the cutest little office pup that cares about you just as much as they do!
