I received a voice message from Kim @ Stillpoint in June 2020 regarding 2 office visits in 2019 that were never paid by my insurance company. I was told that the insurance company needed to verify some information. I called my insurance company and was told that I needed to verify if I had other medical insurance. I told them that I didn't and gave them the dates Stillpoint said they weren't paid. I was advised by the insurance company that they would process the visits and send payment to Stillpoint. I called Kim back and left a voice message advising what I was told by the insurance company. I asked her to call me back if she needed any additional information. Fast forward to August 2020. I received a letter from my doctor stating he would have to drop me as a patient due to non payment. Now I didn't hear anything about these missing payments until I received the voice message from Kim on June 2020. I'm under the impression that I resolved the issue because I did not receive a callback or mailings regarding it. What it comes down to is that Stillpoint had contacted me, a loyal 7 plus years patient, once in June 2020 regarding payments not received for 2 dates in 2019. I did exactly what they asked and rectified the issue with my insurance company and left a voice message letting Kim know it had been resolved. Instead of contacting me if there was still an issue, they decide to drop me. This type of behavior I can do without. Not to mention, they're dealing with people who have mental health issues, who are trying to make it thru a pandemic which is causing extreme anxiety and depression and now I need to find another psychiatrist to manage my medications. I would not recommend Stillpoint to my worse enemy.

When in crisis, he is always available to check in with us and/or schedule an appointment. I appreciate his honesty, compassion, and communication. He always calls back, responds to our concerns, and has our best interest at heart. I have had nothing but good experiences with the staff, despite less than stellar insurance that caused all of us misery. I would highly recommend this practice.

They only communicate vial email, and they don't have enough staff to handle patients. They brag as if being this small is a good thing.. in reality, it caused much confusion for my family and the school district that helped set up our eval. Find another provider for this service. During the last month and a half, their communication has been spotty at best. Then they cancel because of this. She doesn't care about patients. They canceled because they cannot handle any criticism and left us a month and a half behind when it comes to getting help with no concern for my child.

She held confidences over a period of more than 4 years, patiently helped me identify issues I was having that I was unprepared to deal with initially, but came to understand with time, and continues to help me become a better person for myself and for others. Because of my experiences with her practice, I cannot help but think the negative reviews listed either never actually had any session with her, or were fabricating their issues due to not being able to con her into seeing things their way. That can be very aggravating to people who are used to manipulating others easily.
