Hands down best job I've had...I love kids so I knew in my heart I wanted to work with them. & Ms Eppy makes it a lot easier she's awesome with not only the children and their parents but also with her employers. Heritage tree Daycare has been an awesome experience for me and I can't wait to grow more with the business. The children make me happy everyday the way they are involved in our circle time and how great they all do with their numbers, abc's and shapes. The kids make me so happy when I walk in because I get so much love when entering. If I was not working here I'd definitely bring my son here because Ms Eppy would take very good care of him and I know it. Thank you MS Eppy for giving me the opportunity to grow with you and the kids.

My son has been going here for 3 years now and he absolutely loves it here. I cant complain either. They make you feel like family. Very welcoming for my son. He doesn't even cry when I leave to go to work. Ms Eppy always keeps us in the loop about whatever is going on, very trusting. I love how much my son has learned and grown being here with her. I love how she also has different theme days or activities to keep the kids busy. I would definitely recommend this place to someone in need of childcare

There is too much good to say about this day care. I absolutely Love it! My son started attending Heritage Tree back in September and ever since he started he has learned so much and has started talking so much more! Eppy (the owner) is such an amazing lady she keeps a clean home , class room & play yard! She teaches the kids how to be independent. My son is very comfortable here and when I am working I know I have nothing to worry about between her and Miss Liz I know my son is being well taken care of ! I would and always will recommend her day care to any working parents or single mothers! Thanks Ms. Eppy we love you - Laniece & Jordan

Ms. Nikki's Butterfly Room is a toddler's paradise - filled with endless books, crafts, and experiential toys - and her ability to provide an exciting and dynamic environment for her kids, where they can grow in confidence and ability (while still providing the safe boundaries they need!), is a testament to her calling as a teacher! Our daughter absolutely adores her, Dr. Katie, and the rest of the extended Kehillah community, all of whom contribute to the vibrant and supportive culture that is growing before our eyes. It is such a heartwarming relief as a parent to have the confidence that your child is receiving superlative care and education. At Kehillah, it really does feel like a family, and we couldn't be more thrilled or proud to be a part of it!

Since coming here, I've seen him playing and interacting with the other children, which has been wonderful to see. Ms. Kathy and her teachers take the time to explain to the children that my son is nonverbal but can still play and have fun with them. That has made such a positive difference in helping him meet his goals of opening up and engaging with others. The staff keeps parents informed throughout the day about how their child is doing, and they are always willing to work with families on individual goals, such as potty training. We've recently made great progress with my son's potty training, and I'm so grateful for their support. Most of all, everyone is welcoming, kind, and respectful to both the children and their families. I highly recommend this school to any family looking for a caring and supportive environment.

What a great community family daycare!…read more My two year old daughter attended Davis Family Daycare for several months and she loved it.  Before she was even born I had her enrolled in Montessori school because of their waiting list, but she was no where near ready to go. I explained my situation to Mr Keenan, the owner of Davis Family Daycare, and he said they would work with her. The staff was fantastic and worked with her speech and occupational delays, and before I knew it she was coming home saying new words and reciting her ABC's and numbers.   Mr Keenan is great with the kids, and they all seem to really love both him and his staff. I can't thank them enough.

The outside area is set up super great for the kiddo's. I LOVE that most of the day is spent outdoors. The child care givers are amazing, kind, organized and professional. My grandson has never had diaper rash, his plastic containers I send food in are washed and placed back in my grandsons bag. My grandson takes long naps during the afternoon, (also very important). Keenan has always been professional, concerned about the welfare of his clients, and is constantly making improvements. I am really happy I was able to place my precious 2yr. old grandson at Davis Family Day Care.

He is high-functioning but has difficulty communicating and expressing his needs verbally. He has also just turned 2, so he still had a lot of growth to do. I was asked whether I would be able to provide support or assistance for him while he attended. I am a working mom, they wanted me to be at the school with him which I cannot because how would I be able to afford the tuition without working. I was then told that I would receive a call back, but no one ever followed up with me after I was told on the phone I would need to assist him in the school. Although, my child has autism he is very capable. I think the word taunted the director creating a bias before even actually working with my child. The experience left me feeling that the school is not inclusive. I would recommend looking elsewhere if your child is neurodivergent or has any type of learning disability in any way. Thankfully, my child is now attending another school where he is welcomed, supported, and thriving.

It is with a heavy heart that I write this review. I wanted so much to love this place. But after…read morejust shy of eight months there, I can definitely say I don't recommend it. Aside from the first couple of weeks there, I never felt welcome as a parent at World Tots LA. I always felt rushed out when I dropped my son off, who started there at 12 months old. I would be reprimanded for dropping my son off past 9:30am. My husband works in the port and has odd hours and sometimes would only get to spend extra time with our son in the mornings when he got home. They didn't care. Despite our paying for the care, I was constantly reprimanded and given snide comments for dropping him off after 9:30. We asked the director if this was required and she said it was recommended, but apparently this wasn't relayed to the staff, who told me constantly it was a requirement. A teacher even yelled at us a few times, or raised her voice, saying that if we brought him after 9:30, we shouldn't bring him at all. My son would often come home dirty. Dried food or snot on his face. When voicing concerns, we were often met with a condescending tone from the teachers or the director. Not all of the teachers. But unfortunately, the ones who would listen and seemed to truly care were few and far between. I felt snubbed. I read the good reviews about this place. I hoped for the best. I eventually felt like I would walk on eggshells and try to be as nice as possible because I didn't want to risk anyone being unkind to my son. But we left. It wasn't worth it. Especially when there are other daycare centers in the area that are competitively priced with good programs and kind staff. I only regret not leaving sooner and hoping things would improve. The week before we left, my husband picked up my son from school with a bloodied face. He had gotten hurt on the playground, and we should have been called, but weren't. I don't know who has left these others reviews. I notice most of them are from 2,3 and 4 years ago or more. I am truly glad these families were happy with their care. I do wish I could say the same. As a fellow parent, I beg you to please look at all your options and do your research. This place has a good location, but there are also other good options in Pedro. I hesitated to write this review, but I feel like if I was being treated rudely, other parents were too, and that breaks my heart. It is so hard to leave your child in daycare as it is, and to deal with these additional stresses, it's just more than a parent should have to take. All the inspections done and what not don't take into account how the parents, the customers, are treated. And I just worry that if I'm not treated with respect and courtesy, my kid won't be either. You can find daycares' inspection results and other info here: http://www.cdss.ca.gov/inforesources/Community-Care-Licensing/Facility-Search-Welcome Here's the info for World Tots LA: https://secure.dss.ca.gov/CareFacilitySearch/FacDetail/197400633 If anyone from the facility reads this, I beg of you, please, please make sure that the staff treats parents with the respect they deserve. We just want what is best for our kids.
