Incompetent. I took my jet ski in because it seemed to be in a limp or safety mode. That's all I wanted fixed. So after paying $750 for troubleshooting and a service. (It had BRAND NEW oil and plugs btw) they said it was fixed and they had cleaned the throttle body. Guess what, same issue, no difference, I'm just out $750 and have lost 3 weeks! Oh, and the other thing... I made an appointment, showed up at 10:00 and had to wait until 10:45 for someone to show up. Then it took them a week to even look at the ski. Not exactly sure how you run a business this way, or how you get good reviews. Funny this is I took my KTM here for an issue 5 years ago and they charged me a lot and didn't fix that issue either. I only went back because someone told me they were great with jet skis and I figured I've give them a second chance. So I will say... at least they are consistent. read more

He is the only guy that does older model toys, Took my 2001 ski there for a key programming and diagnosis, did it super quick. Temecula motorsports especially charges $220 for diagnosis! Bryce figured out what was wrong in 10 mins. Go there for key programming and any other work needed for skis, dirtbikes, motorcycles, quads, even chinese buggys,etc! The best racing repair shop ever! My boys and I took our razor tire there. They were referred by 211bikes in vista. As a single mom, that was a job I just could not do. I didn't have the tools to take off a little tire from the razor little speedster go cart. The owner and his son helped me out and it saved us a trip to the emergency room LOL. Mike and his guys do a great job. I blew up the top end of my Banshee on Sunday. Took it to him Monday, he said he had about 2 weeks worth of work ahead of me but he would try to squeexe it in. I told him my story, we were leaving for a week long ATV trip, and I needed it back Friday morning. He called me at 10pm Thursday night to tell me it was ready. Who else does that? I don't think there's anything these guys do not know about motorcycles, quads, and or Jet ski's. This place is been around for quite a while and, when you ask around to some of your motorcycle friends where they take their bikes, most of the people I know they take it to Herman Tuning. And you can tell when you show. There is a ton of motorcycles that they're working on and, even when you show unannounced, you still get your motorcycle done within a day or two. We have older jetskis that needed work. They treated them poorly. The part to fix one of them couldn't be located and when they were returned the parts worked on were in pieces and shoved back under the seat. There was also grease all over the seats. Based on how our jetskis were treated I can't recommend Herman's tuning. read more

A buddy referred me to Herman Tuning as I am bringing my dinosaur stand up Jet Ski back to life for my kids. They dialed it in like they promised and treated me fair. The ONLY place I let touch my dirtbikes. Fast service. Depending on shop workload, can usually mount tires while you wait. Can get parts as quick as the big guys. Engine building is awesome. Never had a fork seal leak after he's touched it. Bike leaves the shop ready to ride. I live in El Cajon and take it up there. He's that good. read more

Horrible service, it forced me to give it at least 1 star but if I had to really give a true rating I would be taking stars, -3 Stars to be exact. I wouldn't trust this shop to service my bike over anything. I would rather pay twice as much or travel twice as far than to leave my bike or anything that would need service with this guy. I stopped by to have my Yamaha R6 maintenance done and he quoted me 2 different prices, he initially said it would cost $400 for a full service and $140 for a minor service. I mentioned to him that I could do the majority of the stuff on my own but that I needed a valve adjustment. He said that was a minor service ($140) since I planned on doing the oil change and everything else on my own and that was that. A few days later I stopped by to confirm that the $140 was what it would cost for the Valve adjustment and not only does he (Mike) seem like he doesn't care for you, he proceeded to tell me that it was NOW going to cost $400 because it would need a "Complete Valve Adjustment". Not knowing a whole lot about this type of service it still baffles me that the price changed over night from $140 to $400. It's pretty evident that this guy mainly works on dirt bikes and jet skis so if you have a street bike you can easily search for a million other shops that deal with Street Bikes and not even have to waste your time with this guy. He doesn't work on the weekends so if you plan on ever getting your bike back make sure you give him at least 4 weeks since he is "extremely busy" all the time. read more

I recommended them to a friend of mine, a $1,000 bucks later water pump still leaking carb never cleaned or adjusted and valves never adjusted. I'm sorry but they put new handle bars and grips so when I push it around in my garage I have a good sturdy grip. Oh yeah bike still runs like shit. I've been doing business with him for eight years and no more. I would never recommend them ever again. read more
