Then when I sent a picture of oil coming out of my combustion chamber he said he never touched it when I payed for him to diagnose the problem. He also said he'd tighten the spark plug for me like that won't fix oil coming out of the combustion chamber it shouldn't be there lol read more

This shop is very knowledgeable about all kinds of bikes, including scooters. I brought mine in when it quit running. Ron was able to help diagnose the issue. I bough a KTM 2007 450 SX-F from Ron a few months back and decided to write a review after finding out Ron wasn't completely honest about the sale. Upon initial inspection the bike looked great, started both times I went to look at it and rode for a quick spin around the building to check gears and brakes. Before I handed over the cash I asked Ron if there was anything about the bike I should replace, repair or history I should be aware of; he replied "no your getting a great deal" I took Ron at his word and a hand shake. Come to find out the bike was on a charger in his garage to mask the fact that there were some issues; major issues that were not disclosed. I paid 2700$ for a bike that needed another 500$ in parts to make it right. Cam shaft, valve adjustment, subsequent parts , stator, battery and time. I would have had no problem with that had I known from the seller and not been mislead. I do have to take responsibility for not scrutinizing over the condition of the bike, with that comes the responsibility to inform others to not make the mistake I did. Please treat people like you'd want to be treated Ron, be honest and truthful. read more

While it pains me to write a negative review, I know this is what the people need to hear and this is the whole point of online reviews. I happen to be in the area of RPS motorsports I went inside to speak to Ron. a friend of mine was looking for a dirtbike, I asked him if he had any for sale or knew of anybody that had any for sale, and he said yes. Now, I did not inspect the bike and I did not have it inspected. I took Ron for his word and asked him if the bike was in good shape. He explained yes it was in very good shape and it was very well taken care of, and there were no problems at all ! Well, my friend bought the bike we took it to a nearby riding area and unfortunately the bike would not start. My friend was new at riding so he did stall it a few times but the bike would not start up again. (Electric start) Many attempts jumpstarting, replace the battery, etc. well I decided to take it apart and I found the problem I called Ron and I explained to him what was going on. I just asked him to be honorable and buy the parts to fix the bike. I would take care of all the labor and the gaskets and the fluids and whatever was necessary but it needs a $280. cam/decompression valve and I asked him to purchase it because I believe he knew the problem was there. He swears he did not know it had a problem, but in the same breath he says he's been doing this his whole life and he just thought maybe it had a bad battery. (which again he should've disclosed it needed a battery) Unfortunately me and my friend will never deal with Ron again and I think it's a shame he took advantage of somebody that was not knowledgeable. read more

RPS Motorsports ripped me off!! I spent over 800 dollars at RPS & he gave me my bike back still not running & missing a lot of bolts. I wish I would have taken my bike to ECC! ECC would have charged me only 700 dollars & my bike would be running without any missing screws or parts... Ron the owner dosent know as much as he claims. I spent over an hour in his shop while customers called in complaining about the work done on bikes! Ron is selfish & doesn't take responsibility off his mistakes! He will change you for his mistakes!!! Don't bring anything to RPS Motorsports unless you like being lied to, yelled at & treated poorly!!! read more

My daughter was home for spring break from college and she said she wanted to go to the desert for the day. Unfortunately her bike wouldn't start or run. I went by RPS and asked Ron if he could "hook a brother up" and get her bike running so my daughter and I could go riding the next day. No hesitation on Ron's part, he had me unload my bike and told me that the he would be in done in 3 hours. True to his word, the bike was done and it was running better than ever. Called RPS Motorsports Tuesday at 5:50 then realized they closed at 6pm. Ron answered the phone and I asked if he serviced 4 Stroke Motorized Bicycles and he said well ya bring it in, what's the issue you're having. I didn't want to keep him on the phone long as I knew and know how it is having someone hold you up when your done for the day! I went in today Wednesday June 9, 2016 about 7:30 am met Ron and his staff very nice and professional, not your typical @$$hole know it all and make you feel stupid type guys, very wholesome and down to earth. I dropped my bike off got a Lyft to work and couple hours later received a text that it was done along with the price! I was very satisfied overall with the experience I had with RPS Motorsports.
