It honestly feels like they don't start filling them until you show up. They'll tell you "30 minutes," and two hours later it still isn't done. I even watched someone drop off a script after me, leave, come back, and pick theirs up before they ever filled mine. I really miss the old mom-and-pop drugstores. Big chain pharmacies are exactly like this: no urgency, no service, and no real help, you're just a number. Save yourself the headache and drive to Wentzville; you'll probably get it faster.

The Walmart on stadium refused to fill her prescription until the next day even after explaining that the nerve blocker didn't not work. The doctor even called the pharmacist and he still refused to fill the prescription. The crew at Walgreens set up our account contacted Walmart for the insurance information since I did not have it on me. They were extremely busy and still got me in and out in just under a hour.

This was the third walgreens I visited because I needed aquaphor. They have a deal going on for a pack of 2 and it's 2/$15 so I wanted to snag that deal. Aquaphor is the ONLY chapstick that works for me. Everything else makes my lips peel or crack and I'm pretty frugal so I wanted to save wherever I could. Unfortunately, I could only find ONE two pack. I was desperate and searching around the store for another one, but to no avail. I ended up going to the cash register and asked her if there was another display that might have more in stock. She asked if I checked the other display by beauty and I did, but nothing. She said unfortunately there was no place else. I gave up, but I told her I understood and it was okay. But she filled me in on what walgreens usually does when they get in more stock and to check back then. When she scanned the item, it didn't display the deal I was referring to so she asked me where I saw it. I pulled out my phone to show her my app and she was like "ohhh, I see." she asked to see my phone to look around and said that when the other pairing of a deal is missing, they will honor half of it. Found the closest 'Walgreens' via a quick web search and headed to Sullivan. Strauser was apparently affiliated with Walgreens - so we went into to see if there was any way in hell I could get a refill. The kind lady at the pharmacy took my cards and looked me up. She was able to pull an old, unexpired prescription refill and hook me up. She took it and filled it immediately, and I was all set. If you are not familiar with the joys of asthma and respiratory unpleasantries, losing/forgetting/running out of the ol' Albuterol inhaler can be pretty scary. She could probably see that on my face and hopefully realized that she saved the day and entire weekend. Thanks you, Strauser pharmacy.
