I'm not sure why the bad reviews on here because my experience recently was amazing. My daughter was treated like a princess. Came with the intention of buying one dress and fell in love with another and despite it being close to closing time they didn't rush her until she found THE ONE dress for her Prom night. As a mom I'm so happy they took their time with her so I'm going to take my time to Rave about this place. The staff were so kind and the owner is so sweet. They truly make you feel like family. My daughter and I had a wonderful shopping experience for her homecoming dress with both the owner and her daughter. They had her dress altered within 24 hours for us (the alterations lady was so explanatory and gentle also). During the parade, my daughter's dress strap broke. I messaged the owner who drove from her house to my daughter's school to help fix it for her walk out. She was incredible. To say she goes above and beyond is an understatement. read more

The owner was incredibly rude to my party. The owner and staff blame poor customer service on the fact that the owner has an accent when in reality she is just mean! If you read other reviews the one thing they have in common is the rudeness of the owner. Shahrazad and Hala are some of the sweetest people I've ever met. They helped me get my perfect, dream prom dress when I'm all the way in TX! I loved this dress and couldn't find it locally so I called about 30 stores statewide and got super lucky to get the most helpful people ever. They had great communication skills and are honest people who I can tell love their job because they were excited with me about the dress!! and made sure I saw it clearly through FaceTime, pictures, and more. So if you ever can't find your dress locally, I 10/10 recommend trying this boutique because the dresses they have are beautiful. And if you're local, you better come!! This is probably one of the best prom dress stores I've been to in my journey of finding a dress. The ladies here are nice and very accommodating. I am extremely picky, yet the ladies working helped me happily and didn't make me feel like nuisance. There are so many Sherri Hill dresses here, more than what I've seen in any other dress store I've been in. The store is super clean, and the dresses are organized by color and style. This makes it super easy to find the dress you want. Not only that, their prices are very reasonable for quality, designer dresses. All the dresses here are from reputable designers. This is the first store I've been to where the owners haven't hiked up prices for crap quality dresses. You can tell the people at Hermz really care about their customers. :) read more

We had a wonderful experience finding the perfect prom dress for my Daughter! Shar and her Mom were so knowledgeable about which cut of dress would flatter her frame. They knew exactly which designer to choose from. We ended up purchasing the very first dress they put in her dressing room, it was perfect! We also love that they register the dress to the customer, to prevent duplicate dresses worn at the same prom. Great bonus! It was such a pleasure to shop at Hermz and we were so grateful for all the kind and patient assistance. If I could give less than one star I would. The people were nice yes, until I came back... Im very small (size 00-0) and I only found ONE dress that fit me and I loved it. Little did I know, when I would get home, the beads would fall off and it fit horribly! I thought the dress fit fine when I purchased it, but all the friends said she "ripped you off, it looks horrible. Your boobs and coming out and it just doesn't fit you." I trusted the sales lady (I shouldn't have) because she told me the dess fit "perfectly" and I looked "beautiful". I returned two days later with the intention of telling them the situation and fixing it (maybe being able to return it, buy a new dress with a deal, or AT LEAST getting some help finding a new dress). When I explained my situation, the lady stormed on me and said how this is my fault and how I should have known. Besides that situation... The dress was falling apart, if you are a size 2 or below they will have very few dresses that will fit, the building wasn't very nice, and the dresses were outdated. If you happen to find a sheri hill dress that you like online, chances are they won't have it. I would NOT recommend coming here. read more

I absolutely LOVE this place!! I came here to find a formal dress and the saleswoman was so helpful and kind. She zipped up all the dresses for me, gave me suggestions of what to try on, and gave her HONEST opinions of all dresses to ensure I left with the best looking dress. They have a lot of nice dresses, and I found exactly what I was looking for. It was not busy when I went (Friday evening). I am extreme melt satisfied with my purchase. I was able to try on as many dresses as I wanted, just be careful with them and courteous as they are all expensive dresses. My daughter had her heart set on a certain Sherri Hill dress for her senior prom. Because it was not available in our area, we needed to order it online. I'm so glad we found Hermz boutique. The staff was beyond wonderful! They spent quite a bit of time with us on the phone, going over sizing. They even had a young woman about my daughter's size, try on a few dresses to make sure we made the right choice. The dress was shipped out immediately and it fits perfectly! This is in response to Marjorie B. Having worked retail for MANY years I totally understand the policy. It isn't age discrimination it is the stores policy and in this country and business can do as it pleases. The dresses at Hermz are not inexpensive and around prom season lots of girls go shopping to simply play around in the gowns. The store has no idea if the girls are seriously shopping or wasting time. Unfortunately lots of dresses become damaged this way and the retailer has to cover that cost not the customer. Would you prefer to pay a deposit for trying on gowns to ensure you do not cause damage? read more

If I could give no stars I would! I took my daughter here to purchase a prom dress. What should've been a wonderful experience for the both of us was quite sad. After browsing, she picked out a few dresses to try on. She decided what looked best on her and she asked the salesperson to please take one of the dresses off the mannequin, because she wanted to purchase it. It was her exact size and the dress she had decided on. The salesperson replied she couldn't be bothered to do that on a Sunday at 4:00. How sad. The owner was very rude to my mother and I. I wanted to try on a certain dress. I had called multiple times to make sure if would be there for us to try on as they are the only one in the state within a reasonable distance for us to go to. I had called on a Saturday and said I'd be there on a Monday afternoon to try it on. The girl said it would be a problem that they don't sell samples. So we get there looking for the specific dress we were promised would be there AND THEY SOLD THE SAMPLE. The owner did. And her solution was so go out of state to find it. Um I'm sorry what?! They told us we could look for more. We said sure and asked to be directed to evening gowns. She literally said "I don't know they on the racks" you work there and you don't know where your dresses are??? Then the owner tried to force us to buy a dress we told her we did not like and were NOT interested in. Enter at your own risk. It's a hot mess read more

nightmare. They take forever on alteration and they had too many excuses why the dress wasn't ready on time.

The service was absolutely horrible, my daughter and I walked in the boutique and spoke to the employees and were never acknowledged. The employees stood at the register having a conversation. They never responded to any of our questions or assisted us with the dresses. My daughter was in tears because she couldn't understand why the employees would treat us that bad. read more
