    Entrance -- 6:06pm and it's ghost town.
    Skky L.

The people who work here are not very friendly. Walking in, the three standing individuals just stare back at you with a, "please don't talk to me or ask me any questions" look on their face. Perhaps because it was an hour before closing time, but still.... I don't think it's justifiable. The resources appear limited. Short space to be utilized.... and I'm not sure how a library closing at 6pm during the week would be helpful to most people? The interaction that really got this place scored down is that at 5:57pm the lady walked around saying the place was closed. At 5:59pm she she hawking over me again saying again, "We're closed". I lightly made a joke saying my time must be off because during all the minutes she said the library was closed, my phone time had yet to make it to 6:00pm. She then went on to explain that they too are expected to be out the door at 6pm.... Not really sure how that is expected to work, but to summarize, a distasteful experience. Glad this isn't my go-to library.

I went to print out a few things. Service was great. Five pages cost me 50 cents. Good, quiet place.

Wonderful little library! Everyone is so friendly and helpful here. They have frequent events and activities for the whole family.

It's been awhile since I've been to the Tarpon Springs Library. It is still the same friendly,…read moreaccessible, and beautiful place I remember. I checked out a DVD of a series recommended to me by a Yelp friend. They were only one of four libraries that had it. It was easy to find, and quickly checked out by a very friendly librarian. The library has a craft basket at the checkout desk. So help yourself to a craft while they last! They also have museum passes for Pinellas and Hillsborough counties. Unfortunately, the James Museum is no longer offered. That was one of my favorite museums to visit for free. Now I will pay for the privilege. This library has plenty of parking in their parking lot, on the street, and across the way. It's all for free. It also has accessible bathrooms, a Friends of the Library book area by the front doors, community rooms, and a children's section. Do yourself a favor, and stop by to see all that is offered here.

I tried to get a library card today. Well that was absolutely ridiculous. I was asking questions…read moresince it's been 10 years since I've had a card at this location. When I asked the woman behind the counter next thing I know there was three people telling me I had to pay $25 to get a library card. As I was asking the so-called manager lady questions, she was very discriminating towards me because I had a walker and instead answered my friend who she didn't even know I was friends with that was standing next to me as if I was invisible. Way to go for discrimination. Unbelievable. It was already late in the afternoon and they wasted about 20 minutes of my very valuable time. The place needs a revamp inside. The outside is beautiful as usual. The only one that was helpful and very sweet was a young man named Ray. Thank you Ray for being a decent good human. It's a shame that your co-workers and manager are not decent at all. If you have a walker or any type of assistance with a device DON'T GO THERE. The bathroom has the heaviest door and is not accessible. They do have a stall that is larger, but you have to struggle with the door to get in at all. I can't believe this used to be a great Library. Maybe the manager should take out a book herself about discriminating against people fighting for their life

Saint Leo University has an incredible campus that is expanding every second. The influx of…read moreinquiries and applications has forced Saint Leo to renovate some of the historical one story buildings to three story buildings. I obtained my BA from Saint Leo back in 2011 and the campus was beautiful with a lake in the back, palm trees through the campus, tons of open areas with shaded seating areas, and plenty of space to throw Frisbee or just relax. I am now back in their Graduate program because I couldn't stay away. I take a majority of my classes at a small Lakeland location that is included in the Sykes building, but I had to make the 1hr drive to the University campus for this most recent class and I couldn't be more excited. I was bummed out when I first heard that I had to make that long drive after work, but all those negative thoughts disappeared when I stepped foot on campus and witnessed all the changes that occurred since I graduated. The Crawford building (mostly criminal justice classes) was transformed from a one story building to a 3 story masterpiece called Kirk Hall. The bottom floor has some cutting edge classrooms with touch screen monitors, computers for use, and 2 separate seating areas. The new Donald Tapia business building is also a 3 story building that has innovative layouts for the classrooms. The library is incredibly cozy and most of the buildings have free coffee for anyone. The campus is smaller because it is a private school, but I can't help but want to learn when I walk around. I may consider just making the drive once a week to the main campus because I love the atmosphere so much! Watch out for parking though! All parking lots require a yellow or red parking decal and a ticket or towing could be a result if you don't pay attention. There is only 1 visitors parking area in the front by security, but there is also a LARGE parking garage located towards the back of the school that also shows you how many spots are open. Guests can park anywhere after 5pm, so just keep that in mind. Be careful when first entering the campus. There is a round about and students routinely speed straight into the round about without looking. There is HUGE level change from going in or going out of the round about, so be careful with bottoming out for your car's sake. The events are never ending on campus with plenty of public attendance encouraged, so be on the lookout for credible guest speakers and performances that will blow your mind! GO LIONS!!!!!!!!!!!

I withdrew from St. Leo last spring. I just received a phone call from a collections company saying…read morethat my tuition was sent to collections for past due tuition that they charged me for the summer. Even though I had withdrawn, was using the GI bill and had not received any correspondence stating that I was being charged tuition for a term that I was not enrolled in. I called, after waiting an hour on hold, and they said that maybe my counselor signed me up for courses. Now I have to contact admissions, get a statement from them that I was not logged in or attending the summer session and still have to go through the collections company to pay. All of the correspondence that I had received were text messages asking how the semester was going, which I always replied I am not enrolled or attending. Thanks for ruining my credit with putting something in collections that shouldn't have been there to begin with.
