We truly feel like we lucked out when we found Blooming Mind Montessori. From the very beginning, it has felt more like a loving home than a school where kids are just a number. The teachers are incredibly caring, patient, and genuinely love the children. You can tell they truly prioritize each child and want them to feel safe, happy, and valued every single day. Our older son also attended here after we were told at another very popular Montessori school that he "didn't fit the mold," which was heartbreaking and honestly made us feel like he was somehow a bad kid. Blooming Mind Montessori did the complete opposite. They reminded us how special he is, that every child learns differently, and that he was still just a kid learning and growing. We can never thank them enough for the love, patience, and understanding they showed our family during that time. One of the things we appreciate most is that they really let kids be kids while still creating a wonderful learning environment. The teachers put so much time and effort into preparing thoughtful lessons and always have fun, creative activities planned. There is constantly something exciting going on that keeps the kids engaged, learning, and happy. We also really appreciate that, as a school and not just a daycare, they do a great job minimizing closures, which is so important for working families. Their summer program is also amazing and packed with fun activities. The school is not especially close to us, but we still choose to make the commute because it is absolutely worth it. Having peace of mind knowing your child is loved, cared for, and excited to go to school every day is priceless. We are so thankful to have found such a warm, loving, and fun place for our son and our family.

Heartbreaking Experience with Blooming Minds Montessori…read more I'm writing this review with a heavy heart after a deeply disappointing experience with Blooming Minds Montessori. I visited this school hoping to enroll my 4-year-old son, who has a speech delay due to a brain lesion--not autism, just a delay he's actively working through. During the tour, he fell in love with the place and didn't want to leave--he even cried because he felt so happy and connected there. Unfortunately, what followed was incredibly disheartening. When I called back to follow up, I was told there were no available spots. But a friend of mine called around the same time and was told the opposite--that there were openings. That was the first red flag. I waited a bit, then booked another tour online. The system accepted my appointment. But shortly after, I received an email from the director canceling the tour, saying they didn't feel they could meet my son's needs due to his communication skills. No assessment was ever done--they made that judgment based on a single visit. This felt like discrimination, plain and simple. It's even more disappointing coming from a school that claims to follow the Montessori philosophy, which is supposed to support children's growth at their own pace, in an inclusive and nurturing environment. Instead, I felt like they were using the Montessori name more as a marketing tool than a true educational model. As a foreign family with a child who learns a little differently, this experience was not just a rejection--it was heartbreaking. We were made to feel like we weren't good enough, like my son's speech delay defined him. He is bright, curious, loving--and deserves a school that truly believes in helping all children grow. I hope Blooming Minds reflects seriously on how they treat families and whether they are truly living up to the values they promote.

His teachers believe in him and are so patient, they recognize his strengths and that has given him so much confidence. HUGE mistake, my niece was bullied so bad she had to be treated for severe depression and suicidal ideation. After multiple meetings they started sending her to the school counselor for help, that nut job "taught" her how to be "less weird" so the kids wouldn't torment her. She blamed her............SHE BLAMED HER! both of my kids were bullied. Two of the kids had to be treated for depression and received therapy. The school told me my son was the problem, there was many tears and punishments and fights because he would not stop "acting up at school" when I finally pulled them out, one of the teachers pulled me aside and said, " I'm sorry for everything they put you through, He was never the problem." They were destroying me and my son's relationship. and for what?! Everybody else is always the problem. It's never them. Protect your children from this school. This is the GREEDIEST institution I've ever had the misfortune to deal with. The new principle has to many faces to deal with. one of the worst people I've met, her and her little helper aren't catholic and definitely do not portray the Love, acceptance, help, and values that the school used to endow. It's so sad. When your child is bullied in public school, it makes the news. When your child gets bullied at St. Francis, you have to pull them out in the middle of the year and then they will sue you for the tuition you would have paid if they had been able to stay. Moved ALL the kids to public school and now there is no more medication therapy or self-hatred. THEY ARE THRIVING. They were never the problem! After having them tested and finding out that my soon to be 3rd and 5h grader are still at a 1st grade level! I am now having to pay a tutor to get them caught up. This tutor did in 6 months what St. Francis couldn't do in FIVE YEARS. It is just a business now, not a family. Not anymore. "No one can serve two masters. My son has built strong academic basis. My son is free to learn at his own pace guided by the teacher, which is awesome. No longer a good school, if it ever truly was…read more New administration nearly every year , most of whom lack any of the qualifications to run a school (current admin is a pastor, 1 was an accountant) ). Very limited programs, mediocre academics (but very easy grading (probably to keep up the appearance of what they claim) very stifling/judgmental environment and one of the least Christian behaving communities we've seen. So much bullying among both staff and students and so many kids struggling with their mental health, due in part to the uncaring staff and student body. There is no college counselor (as of our departure) , no properly credentialed school counselor (as of our departure) , no math or reading specialist, no leveled instruction, no music program or instructors, very few elective or Honors/concurrent offerings. Many of the teachers are parents who , likely in order to keep their tuition benefit , flood rating sites to mask the poor reviews over the past several years. We were mislead to believe that there was so much to offer here, but our time here proved otherwise.
