He started off telling me he didn't see how we could lose then suddenly a few months later changed his opinion to not seeing how we could win. He refused to give any reasoning for this reversal. At our last meeting he said he should not have taken my case as he had no time to deal with it and it was therefore low priority. He had so little interest in representing me that he never attended any court hearings and he never took any action to protect my interests. I could have saved a few thousand dollars by dismissing the case early if he had answered some of my questions instead of ignoring them. I put up a retainer and was refunded part of it when he quit the case but I have no idea what he charged me for as he stopped sending monthly statements early on and even though I've asked for copies of those statements on several occasions, he refuses to give me that information. He told me that he would refund me for some paperwork he filed incorrectly but in the end he did not.
