The pool and pool areas are clean. There is a basketball court, playground, shuffle board, & volleyball net. Grassy area to play baseball or throw frisbee. There are umbrellas and shady spots. There are three pools: baby pool, diving board area in deep end, and 3' to 5' pool with funky slides. Pizza place will deliver to the pool. You can take water aerobics classes at night. Swim lessons are offered for a price. The life guards are absolutely fabulous to the kids learning. ‍‍‍come have fun in the sun!

This time around I'm playing with one of my oldest friends. On my return to the game, I was introduced to Deer Valley, a course that is less than 5 miles from my home. What an absolute treasure we have in Central PA. This course is well-maintained and fun to play. The staff is remarkably knowledgeable and always engaging. I can honestly say I look forward to my weekly tee time at Deer Valley!

I am a novice golfer and prefer playing solo. I usually came out around 2pm for the front 9 holes. Everything from the Pro shop to the starters to the other golfers was friendly and welcoming. For a public course it is well taken care of. I highly recommend especially because the front 9 is very forgiving with no sand traps and one small water hole.

They have a volleyball court, ping-pong tables, tetherball, swings for small kids. They have plenty of deck chair loungers. There is a small kiddie pool away from the main pool. Part of the main pool had an area for spring board dives and two lap lanes. There was a waterslide, and then a mushroom waterfall. Lifeguards were very attentive. There was a concession stand but we didn't check that out. They had all the typical things you see at a public pool. Nice changing rooms and plenty of parking. This is a club you pay a membership to. It's kind of tucked in away from main drag in Lititz. Our hosts could being their own food (pizzas) and birthday cake. Plenty of picnic tables. Was very clean and not run down.

Pool bottom: the pool bottom is terrible; the floor makes your toes bleed and hurt, and the staff dont care about it.

Definitely better on the weekdays. I'm slightly torn on exactly how to raid it because I love the fact that this is about the course and I love the fact that it's under $100 to Play. At the exact same time, this course would be significantly better with minor upgrades and a simple refresh. But I really don't want that done at the expense of the accessibility and affordability... Really wonderful bones... nice views... great hole designs... built on land that it was a former iron mine, which gives it a unique vibe. And it feels slightly whiny to say it... But I was just hoping for it to be just a LITTLE bit "nicer" ... like whatever scale you rate golf courses on... I can't even put my finger on it... But I was hoping for it to be just one little Tic higher than what it presented as. Worth playing. Comparing it to other public courses, it's definitely one of the better ones in the state.

That trail is littered with broken glass, so we ditched that and ended up just walking around on the paved areas. It's truly a shame to see such a beautiful park not be living up to its full potential and not getting the respect it deserves.
