It involved…read moreremoving a 2-person Jacuzzi tub and vanity from the bedroom (yes, the bedroom itself) and using that space and the small closet area to create a functional attached bathroom and walk-in closet. The end result is nothing short of amazing. Jerry's design makes the bathroom, which includes a beautiful 5-foot walk-in shower, feel absolutely spacious even though the actual square footage was limited. The new walk-in closet is a dream. Jerry was professional and easy to work with.....accessible throughout the project and always willing to listen to my questions/ideas and offer suggestions. His employees and sub-contractors were all pleasant and well-qualified and every detail was attended to. The estimate for the project was all- inclusive so there were no budget 'surprises' along the way. I would definitely hire Legacy Building & Design for future projects and recommend them to all my friends and family. My only regret is that I can't give them 6 stars. (Oh yeah, we also had 15 windows replaced at the same time. This project also was a success and I would recommend Legacy to anyone looking for more efficient windows.)

It's required readjustment of the dehumidifier system, and including a baseboard heater. More recently, the sliding glass door was not working; called and asked them to look at it. It apparently had come off the track. The service person responded, spent 10 minutes adjusting the wheels, and then produced a bill of $495: $300 service call and $195 for labor. Today, the windows only will lock if you use a lot of force to close them tight enough to engage the locks. There were issues right away. They got started, then disappeared for a couple of weeks. I was told that our main interior beam would be custom because of the ceiling fan we wanted installed. When they came back, they built it on site. The weather stripping on the windows was very short. It took months for them to change it out. The one door (swinging) would not lock. It took several trips to get it right and it now swings very stiff. The roof leaked, the entire interior was never wiped down and we had to fight with them to install the exterior skirting. The service man that came out multiple times was very nice, at first. I do think that he got tired of coming back out to fix things. The OWNER WAS TERRIBLE!! At least he said that he was the owner! I question the quality, as I said , its only a couple of years old. Will the windows hold up?? Value, I dont think so. A carpenter friend said that he could have built it, with better windows for far less money. I WOULD NOT use this company or their product.

Communication was great - they kept in touch and even fit us in two weeks ahead of schedule. Each day we touched base with the crew - each and every one of them was engaged and on task. Infact, watching them work was a ballet of sorts. They remained focus, in lock step with each other and moved step by step as a cohesive unit. Complete failure on James part. He worked no more than 4 hours a day for almost for 5 days over a 2 1/2 week period. When he left on Friday he asked if we had a place to keep his tools ( and garbage) with the intent he would be here on Monday. Wrong. Today is Tuesday and he called the cops on us about his tools. Showed up with a smug look . He can tell you what you want to hear and then not perform. A huge 10000 mistake I ever made.
