    Our Honeywell wifi enabled thermostat failed. Several reboots and 45 minutes on the phone with…read moreHoneywell tech support determined the wifi card was corrupted and the thermostat would need to be replaced. I thought it was still under warranty but could not find the receipt. I did recall it was installed by BTU Management. We called them and sure enough they had a record of the work and confirmed it was under warranty. They said they would provide a new thermostat at no cost and all we had to do was cover the labor which amounted to the minimum charge. When I mentioned we were traveling the next day and would not return for several days they offered to send a tech out the next morning. And they did. BTU tech John called about 9:30 am, arrived by 10 and completed the work by 10:30. John was very thorough explaining all the features of the new thermostat and ensuring everything worked properly. Great work, BTU!

    There are so, so many things that this company did half a$$, I can't even remember them all! I've…read morethreatened to rate them, but let it go. Tonight was the last straw! My kitchen sink has sunk. The left side of it has dropped down. They painted most of the inside of our house. Even after addressing the areas that looked bad, they still didn't do a good job. Initially, we agreed they would use a slightly textured paint. Then they painted. When I asked about the textured paint, they decided not to. What?! They didn't say a word to us! They installed a double sink in our master bathroom, but failed to paint the wall to the left. It's a very small area, but we can't reach it without uninstalling the double sinks. We've had electrical issues beyond explanation. Going out near the end of our remodel that Kevin is retired and only helps them out. Pretty sure on a cash basis. We had to purchase a new dish washer because, unbeknownst to us, the electrician failed to connect it to the disposal. They installed back splash in our kitchen. Then they waited a day to start cleaning it, but because they let the grout dry too long and it was close to the end of this remodel... did I mention a total remodel, they got lazy and cleaned it somewhat, after one of their employees displayed childish behavior and pouting. Then the owner Rick told me how to clean it myself. Again... what?? There is so much more! I have multiple pictures of the incomplete and half a$$ job they did. Do Not Hire Them!! If you do, follow them closely! Did I also mention there was no permit?!

    My experience only: I hired Mr. Fit to do some remodeling…read morework on my house. He came out and gave the the schpeel about having 30 years of experience. I asked him some questions about the work to be performed and he indicated that his guys would "figure it out" when they got there. Essentially, if he knew what he was doing he would have provided allot more information. The guys showed up. They didn't have the tools needed to do the job and indicated that they end up "in these situations" allot because they don't get all of the information needed. They had to use some of MY tools in order to do the job. So, they weren't prepared for the job. Weeks later after the job was complete, some of the work they did started coming off the walls. I didn't call Mr. Dorn to fix it because I never want to see the guy again! He was a jerk on the phone AND placed blame on me (the CUSTOMER). Beware! He will expect you to pay for the workers breaks! He thinks you should pay for this! I refused to. Also, if you can, write down the arrival and departure of the the workers, you should or you will get charged for a full hour when they may only have worked 20 minutes in to an hour.
