I had a recall notice for my 2015 Altima on the hood latch. The entire experience was absolutely wonderful. The woman who made the appointment was efficient and helpful. The service advisor who greeted me and did the intake, named Isaiah, was terrific. They replaced my wiper blades and replaced the spring on the latch under the recall notice (complimentary under warranty) within a short period, about an hour. I needed to make some phone calls, so walked around the lot and an adjacent car dealer lot. But there is a waiting area inside the dealership. Perhaps because of the tight supply and low inventory of new & used cars, there is lots of space to walk in the lot. Was a fairly warm, sunny winter day so quite pleasant. There aren't too many businesses close-by so walking in the immediate area is best option. The highway nearby (Route 13) lacks a sidewalk so I wouldn't recommend that for walking. This is the closest Nissan to my home in Sussex County, and I am very impressed by its service department. read more

Service not prime. Took vehicle in for regular maintenance (oil,transmission, wiper fluids etc. Came out with transmission leak. They fixed it next day but then the following week transmission was slipping. Took it to a transmission dealer who told me there was no transmission fluid. I had a free oil change there and I told them I'd pay the difference for Mobil-1 synthetic. So I signed the papers on the top it said $34.99. I was fine with that. When my truck was done a little over a hour wait I went to the cashier. She told me my total was $50.04. I said excuse me! I signed off to 34.99. Then she showed me the paper and it had the final total of the $50.04 in a very small box at the bottom where it was hand written in. This place is a rip off and a joke. At Phonaka Nissan I pay $65 for the SAME service and there conventional service is $40. So I should have been looking at $25. I will never be back! Finally when I went home I was browsing on there website and this is there claim. "Nissan Express Service provides you with fast, convenient 30 minute guaranteed oil change service or the next one is free with NO APPOINTMENT necessary." read more

I had appointment at ten the guy John was very rude and try to sale me a 2013 Ford Focus with a crack front windshield for 11,000 please do not go here they straight rip off!!!!!! Brought in my vehicle to be worked on. They had to re-do it 4 times. The last time I picked it up they had "no paperwork" but stated they re-did the bearings. When I called the service dept manager he said he was present when they" re-shimmed the bearings. Shims never came up when I picked up the vehicle. They offered to fix it,a 5th trip to the shop. I passed. 800 bucks and no fix. read more

A missing plastic fastener on a brand new car turned into a confusing mess where right and left hands never came together resulted in extraordinarily poor customer service. Refusal to send me a 93 cent fastener that I could have easily installed myself instead wanting me to travel two hours wait all day to put a self fastener in that would take me 20 seconds , saved time gas money and inconvenience rather than just send the plastic clip or offer to come down here and do it. It's their policy to charge for warranty work regardless of how inconvenient it is for their customers. Common sense and courtesy is absent from this dealership. read more

purchased my 2012 Titan from Zach end of 2012, very courteous, friendly, helpful, found the truck I wanted. Everything you would expect from a Salesman, thank you Zach, great job. However, service department is severely lacking in management, ability, and attention to detail. I have had both my Nissans in for service at due intervals, I always have to ask for the tech to wipe off the excess oil on the frame of my Altima, if they don't I end up with oil on my driveway. Most recently, the service tech didn't even tighten the drain plug on my Titan and I ended up with a lot of oil in my driveway as soon I got home from service. No offer for discounted service next visit, or any compensation for wasting my time. I've been dealing with a vibration in the drivetrain on the Titan for the past 2 years, Nissan excuse is pinion angle. This vibration only occurs when the truck is loaded. I reviewed the Nissan service bulletin, no mention of the truck being loaded/unloaded when experiencing the vibration. My truck only has this condition when loading the bed with heavy cargo or towing a camper. They have installed the second of 3 different size spacers between the axle and leaf springs, no change. Still waiting for the installation of the 3rd size. Service bulletin also states change the leaf spring u-bolt nuts each time they are removed. They have removed twice and still have the same original nuts re-installed. Also, the pinion seal is leaking, no tech mentioned this at all, I had to identify the problem. My last visit was two weeks ago when I spoke to the GM and SM, end result, they said they would order the seal and nuts and call me for an appointment........two weeks ago! Two weeks to get parts in, really? Hertrich Nissan service not recommended! I'm confident this issue will not be resolved by a change in spacers, when towing the camper I measured the ride height and I only dropped the rear of the truck 1.5 inches, normal operation when towing with a weight distributing hitch. This is not a pinion angle issue, this is a drivetrain defect. Back to the drawing board. read more
