If I could give ten stars I would! Let me share how they rescued me. After retrieving my car from a Mercedes repair shop in Camden, DE I immediately began to hear this squeaking noise coming from my front driver tire. Take note I never heard this sound prior to this visit. I contacted the shop in Camden, DE and asked what happened to my tire, because I didn't have this problem prior to their service? I was told to bring it back and of course the owners gave me a whole bunch of bull and I would need another repair totally unrelated to the last $1,600 I just had paid for service. Fast forward - the same tire began to lose air, so I took it to the Mercedes dealer in Wilmington, DE. I was told the whole rim and tire had to be replaced. After paying $1,700 to them I drove the car home and immediately all these messages began showing up on the console and the car was hard to steer. I called Wilmington Mercedes to let them know and said, "The tire sensors need to be checked." The associate said, bring it back in and we'll take a look. Well, a whole day went by, and I hadn't heard from the guy I had been dealing with. So, I finally decided to call to find out what was going on. I spoke to Brad who said, "Oh I was the who took care of your diagnostic today. And it's not that bad. It's your ESP sensor, it has to be replaced and it's going to cost you $3,000." I let Mr. Brad know that his services where no longer needed and I went to retrieve my car. I stumbled upon Mr. Tire Auto service a few days later - and Mr. Robert greeted me with a welcoming hello and smile. Approx. 40 min later I was told Mrs.R there is nothing wrong with your sensors and there's no charge. When I got back in my car all the messages were gone and the car has been functioning beautifully!!!! It appears that after Wilmington Mercedes changed the tire they did not clear the codes in hopes I would be foolish enough not to know what the real deal was. Shame on them! I already knew what was going on. Another mechanic in the past had already told me about clearing codes and tire sensors. I can't express how grateful and thankful I am for Mr. Tire's honesty!!!!! All I can say is people do your homework. Educate yourself by reading your car manuals, review videos and pray that God places you in the paths of honest people who stand on integrity!!! Mr. Tire of Camden you have a forever customer here. And when we need tires and services not only for our vehicles along with our two 18 wheelers tractor trailers you got our business!!! Horrible Experience. Scheduled a 4:30 pm appointment for a simple oil change. Didn't leave until 5:30. They did not reset the oil change timer. They did not place a sticker indicating mileage for next oil change. AVOID THIS PLACE!!!!!! read more

I had them install a new set of tires and was very specific that I wanted the old tires placed in the bed of my truck. When I arrived to pick up the truck, the tires were not in the bed, I had to go over to the commercial side and retrieve the takeoff tires and load them myself. I was also charged the disposal fees for the tires, which I should not have as I didn't dispose of any tires. Check your invoice before paying these guys, they're not proactively ensuring correct pricing. read more

Had a 10:30 appt and arrived at 10:10 to discuss a set of new tires. The first question was "what kind of oil I'd like" which seemed odd. Finally settled on a cheap set of tires since I'm looking to trade in my car over the next few months. My tires were very worn and I'd just gotten a large screw in one tire, so decided to replace them. Was told it'd be about 2 hours so went with wife to get lunch. Returned before the 2 hours was up only to see little progress in repair bay. Finally got the car well after 3pm and was charged for some kind of 'hazard coverage' which my wife found on the bill after we got home. Not sure what this coverage is or why I'd want it since I'm getting rid of the car soon. Feel like I was charged for something useless after an already bad day. Made my appointment online and when I got to shop was told it was not in system. Registered in person and gave my telephone number 3 times to the clerk. Drop off my vehicle for an oil change, brake inspection and repair of passenger door handle. The vehicle was there for two +days and only received an oil change. Even went back to check on vehicle status in person and was told vehicle would be ready next day. Never heard from any one so went to pick up vehicle to be told the telphone number was wrong and they could not contact me. So, why was the oil change done, but not the brake inspection and why when I was there in person did not one mention the phone number was incorrect. read more

My daughter took her car in for a set of new tires and an oil change. I spent 50 years in the automotive service industry and 41 in business for myself. I retired in 2022 and sold my shop. I researched the best tire for the application and made a recommendation to my daughter along with advising her to identify that the Tire Pressure Sensor in the full sized spare was defective and to have them replace it due to the TPMS light being on. The service advisor notified my daughter that all 4 sensors on the installed tires were defective and that it would cost an additional $400.00 to replace them. She requested proof of that determination and was shown photos of the test results for all 4 sensors and forwarded them to me. It turns out that they tested the sensors at the wrong frequency of 433 Mhz rather than the proper 315 Mhz. They also attempted to sell her a Road Hazard Policy for the tires when Continental provides one of their own. Last but not least, they did not pressure the tires properly. The vehicle called for 30 PSI and all 4 tires were between 39 and 41 PSI. I also called to speak to the manager the day after the service was performed and was told that the manager on duty that day was not available nor did they return my phone call. So in closing, Buyer Beware! They attempted to "up sell" parts that were not needed along with a lack for attention to detail! read more

They checked it out right then, added air, said the cold was the problem, and sent me on my way. No charge. Best service ever. read more

My son's car had a slow leak in the LF tire. I called and spoke to Mike. He said they could squeeze me in same day. We dropped the car off around noon and finally got a call at 5:42 pm from Mike saying the tire was fixed. I told him I'd be there in 15 minutes. We live in Felton. Mike said, "Okay, I'll be here until 6." I interpreted this to mean that Mike left early since their website said closing time was 7. My son and I arrive at 6 to find the service entrance door locked. I try calling...no answer. I knock on the door...no answer. We come around to the front of the building as Mike is exiting. He informs me they close at 6. I told him their website says 7. As he's getting into his car, he says I'll need to return the next day at 0730. I check my son's car to ensure it's locked since it will be staying in their lot overnight. It was not locked. Then I'm informed by another gentleman that their website's hours haven't been updated in six months. I emailed corporate to tell them they needed to update the closing time. As my son and I are getting into my truck to leave, Mike approaches with a vehicle key and says he told us to "hold on." I never heard him tell us to standby and neither did my son. The key he tried to give us wasn't even for my son's car. Finally, Mike finds the right key and tells us we can pay the outstanding balance the next day. Mike is not an effective communicator whatsoever. He waited until 18 minutes before closing to call me and never said that they closed at 6, only that he left at 6. Our interaction with him once we arrived was beyond ridiculous. I've always had our tires installed at this location, but because of this experience, I will never return to the Camden Mr. Tire. read more

Buckle up- it's time for a tale. While driving the dangerous streets in Delaware, I was fortunate enough to pick up a 1" shard of rim the last collision left for me in the tire of my car. I called Mr. Tire - one of two businesses that were open and they had a tire for me. I showed up with the offending unit at 5:54PM (6 minutes before closing for those of you who are counting) and they hoisted that wheel away from me and got to work immediately. They let me keep the ruined tire and the shard for evidence against DOT, hopefully I can claim the replacement cost on against Delaware. I left with a smile on my face a new tire at 6:12PM. Would not honor tire rack guaranteed price when showed up for appointment. Would have had to pay double the guaranteed price and then hope for a refund after disputing. Also made an appointment for 9am where I specifically said I would be waiting for it. Get to appointment and informed it would be at least 2 hours til they would get my vehicle in, but thats not guaranteed. What is the point of making an appointment, why not make it for two hours later and get me right in. Will not go back again. read more

Absolutely, under no circumstances, EVER go to the Mr. Tire Auto Service Centers in Camden, DE. My husband took his nice wheels here to have new tires put on. He SPECIFICALLY asked for them not to be stacked on top of one another. When we came to pick them up, they were stacked rim to rim. But this isn't even close to the worst part. The service tech, WHOSE NAME IS JORDAN, proceeds to drop the wheel directly on the face on the concrete, SEVERELY fucking up the entire rim of the wheel, right-in-front-of-us!!!! THEN, JORDAN starts threatening my husband right in the front of the garage trying to fight him, when he was the one completely and entirely in the wrong. I'm speechless. I repeat. My daughter needed new tires on her car. They helped me find a good set for a good price. All four tires were changed and a much needed alignment was done. The car is way better to drive. The staff was reasonable and worked with my schedule. Only negative is the mechanic left the wheel balancing strips loose on my rims. When I drove down the road the weights flew off and made a loud bang in the fender well. No damage was done to my car but it took me a minute to figure it out, luckily I am capable of fixing it myself. Had to rebalance the wheels. To be fair those things happens sometimes but the mechanic should have known better. read more

BAIT & SWITCH!! DO NOT GO HERE!!! My car blew a tire on 95 south. The next morning I went to Mr tire. Because I drive an AWD Subaru and tires were not new, I needed four tires. I explained that I was planning to trade car in soonish, so would not buy the Nokians I usually buy, but wanted a reasonably good tire for driving in upstate New York. We discussed a brand of Yokohama all season which sounded ok. I was told it would take 90 minutes and I would get a good deal and the tires would be under $500. And I needed a wheel alignment offered at a discount of $80. Three and a half hours later I am handed a bill for $700 and the crappiest Kelly tires were on my car. I was very late to pick up my traveling companion at the hotel required by middle of the night blowout, and a day late for my engagement, so I could not refuse them. But I was literally robbed. When I confronted my salesman, he gave me some BS about time needed to ensure safety. I have purchased tires dozens of times in my life at reputable tire sales places (notably Grand Premier in East Greenbush NY) and always received prompt excellent service. I told him and all of the other sales reps that I was CHEATED. No one offered to address this. And I left. ABSOLUTELY THE WORST CONSUMER EXPERIENCE OF MY LIFE. Also, the women's bathroom was so disgusting it was unusable. When I reported this, I was told, "yeah the guys don't want to wait so use the women's" this was obvious-ursine everywhere. The best thing I can say about mr. Tire is that if you are able to get in and out in a reasonable amount of time without having them seriously damage your car or eliminate services like the tire rotation you had a good day. Another example of a good day is if you order a synthetic blend oil change and they don't ignore you and put in their top synthetic oil can you have a good day. I had been having trouble with 2 tires having slow leaks so I bought 4 new tires from Walmart yet no one was ever available to talk to in order to set up and appointment to install them, even when physically in the store. It was recommended to me to call Mr. Tire just literally 1 mile away. I didn't even have to call, I was able to set up a convenient time and day ONLINE with Mr. Tire in a matter of minutes. I dropped off my vehicle with my supplied tires inside and just a couple hours later on a VERY busy weekend I received a call that my vehicle was ready. Mr. Tire fixed a flat tire for me. Two weeks later I took my car to another tire place for a tire rotation. The tire that Mr. Tire fixed 2 weeks prior was put on backwards and three of the nuts were stripped and could not be removed. I took the car back to Mr. Tire. They tried to charge me for the repair saying that they weren't responsible (even though they were the last ones to touch the tire! They told me they would give me a break by charging me $60+ which they said was half of what they should have charged me. I wound up paying $24 for parts just to get out of there. read more

I've used this repair shop many times, for several years actually, and the service has went down hill. I gave them three chances to mess up and now I will no longer go back! 1) My window stopped going up and down approx 1.5 years ago. Took it to them and they fixed it for approx 600.00. It was winter so I didn't care how much it costs at that point and I had used them many times so I wasn't concerned. They informed my door handle was going bad. Ok, they ordered one and they put in also. I got into my van and... It was a completely different color then my vehicle!!! (Van is silver and whole handle and surrounding part of handle was beige) It looked ridiculous! So back in I go. They told my they would replace it at no cost to me with the correct one for my van to match. "Ok, great, thank you!" I thought. (They should've informed me before they put it in, but did not). 2) Told them repeatedly my fan was running on my van when it wasn't supposed to be and they told me it was because my defrost setting was on (I felt dismissed because I'm a woman and like I'm not smart enough to know). Well that wasn't the reason, I tested their explanation. 3) Again I had it serviced (oil change) and told them the same thing "the fan stays on constantly, even after I shut it off sometimes, could you check it?". They didn't fix it. Not only they didn't fix it, they charged me for synthetic oil but I realized later that they used standard oil!! Btw, I checked online about the fan issue for my model and guess what.... Fan malfunctions in these models were common!!! Guess I'm not such a dumb woman after all!!! And my window is starting to mess up AGAIN! So I won't go back. Sorry for the lengthy review. UPDATE: My friend ordered the part (cable to lower and raise the window for $79) online, we took the door apart and realized whoever installed the window motor and cable did not do it thoroughly so therefore after paying $600 it still was not correctly put in. The window was malfunctioning because of the way it was put in by this company. It was shotty workmanship. read more

Had a sudden flat tire on the highway. Closet place to go was a Walmart which turned me away because they closed at 7 ( it was only 5 ) luckily the flat wasn't that bad at the moment and I could go down the road to me tire. Which I was greeted with a smile and fantastic service. I didn't know my tire size she came out in the freezing cold to check it. Got me in to get a new tire and a really good price in 10 mins.
