Why add a star when the company is not deserving of it ?…read more As a frequent & loyal Enterprise client I rented a car on December 17, 2024 from Enterprise upon my arrival in London, Ontario. I told the desk clerk that I would need the car for at least 4 weeks. He told me to call the # on his business card if I needed to extend the rental which I did. Unfortunately, no one answered & I was forced to leave a message. I called again several times during the next few days and was greeted by the recording that announced "there is no space for additional messages, please try again later". Enterprise continued to charge my Credit Card for each coming week and every charge was paid in full as usual. To my surprise 4 weeks later Enterprise sent a tow truck to pick-up the car without any notice. Interesting that they had my phone number and the address where we were staying. The law stipulates that the car rental company is obligated to call the renter and send a registered letter requesting the renter to contact them with the status of the rental. No letter was ever received as they never sent one & no phone call was received and no message was left. They charged my Credit Card for their towing and numerous erroneous charges which exceeded $500.00 I told the Credit Card company that these charges were unauthorized and falsely applied so they refused Enterprise their claim to payment. Now I am receiving threats of a lawsuit by Enterprise to recover their money which they falsely charged for. I am suing Enterprise for: Interruption of service - inconvenience - unauthorized charges to my card which is fraudulent. By the way, at the time of receiving the car it was not clean, a soft drink can in the back seat, chocolate bar wrappers in the console and NO windshield washer fluid. I faithfully rented from Enterprise for more than 40 years in Ontario, Quebec, Arizona, California and more places. The rentals ranged from one to four weeks. Enterprise quality has fallen severely ergo I will never rent again. There are many other companies and some with a cheaper overall rental & Insurance cost that we all will benefit from. Enterprise is not the company it used to be ! Check around and find a more conscientious and honourable one to deal with as Enterprise does not live up to prroper business practices. I do not writing "unsatisfactory" reviews however, when dealing with garbage food or offensive & fraudulent business pracitices I have no option but to warn unwary potential clients. by the way, the company asked me to discuss my matter further. They obviously do not recall their manager calling me and in the middle of our conversation he hung up on me. Really ! We do not need further conversation as they will be dealing with my lawyer in the very near future. The few reviews that declared "good service" I commend you. Thanks for your attention.

Price was nagotitaed verbally and written but not honored at the end. Communication issue on their behalf. Hani was the one that promised the "deal" and couldnt justify it. They wouldn't cancel the contract and let us walk out. We contacted OMVIC and head manager Mark. Their "manager" Adil was just a miserable guy and just a horrible person to speak with. Made us purchase another vehicle. Used vehicle purchased was promised parts to be replaced only half was done. After many visits and wasted time they finally got it done. Take care home and register it and there is a recall on iy which they said there were none. The only person that was nice and understanding was Samira, but she couldn't do much to help the situation. I have never ever had such a horrible experience pirchasing a car. So please save your time, energy and money.
