I had a reservation for a "luxury vehicle" rental that was made over a week in advance. When I…read morearrived the vehicle was no longer available or onsite, and the female employee basically told me I should have arrived on time(as if it was a first come first serve situation). I explained to her it was for my daughter's prom and I had called several times to inform them about my delayed appearance. She stated she couldn't answer the phone because she was the only one there, but as I entered the business she was just sitting behind the desk. I felt she lacked any type of customer service, plus I wondered if she was a little racist. I ended up calling the customer service number and the representative tried to find me another vehicle in the same class as the one I reserved. Unfortunately the search wasn't successful, but my in-law let me borrow his BMW X7. For years I've rented from Enterprise at numerous locations/states and the Phillipsburg location made we want to choose their competitors in the future. Like a previous review stated go to the Enterprise located in Easton location and you'd see the difference.

This is in regards to Budget, not PAP, but Google doesn't show there is a Budget here. I moved from…read morePhillipsburg to South Bound Brook, a distance of 43 miles. Rented the truck from here and returned it here 6 hours later and they told me I put 487 miles on the truck. It was turned over to Corporate Budget for collections. Called Corporate to fight it and he confirmed I only drove 87 miles and there was an undocumented change in the miles prior to me renting the truck. Corporate budget is now telling me I have to pay that amount they will send me a check refunding the overage in 15-21 days. Will never use Budget again.
