I always have gotten my appliances from Hester's and they have lasted for years. From washer and dryer's to refrigerators it's always been a great experience from the items being reasonably priced and delivered. They have a one year warranty on the item just make sure you take a picture of your receipt and you can show them if need be or if your appliance breaks outside the warranty the repair, parts, etc are always fair. The repairman's window of arrival time was from 8am to 3pm. at 2:30pm I called to confirm. I was told he was one the way. An hour passes, I call back and he'll be here in 30 minutes. I bought a washer and dryer from them on 7/30/2020. The washer works fine, but the dryer stopped working during the 1st use. I have been calling, and stopping by, only to be told lie after lie, after lie. No refunds is what the receipt says, but I'm going to see what a small claims court judge says. I have paid for something that I cannot use, they will not fix, and won't even replace. These are some unprofessional jerks, who have messed with the wrong person. Save your self the time and frustration from this so called repair business. They provided a service call to my home and made no repair, made a huge mess, and dismantle my working dryer. I called them back to repair what their technician had broken and received nothing but false appointments. This has been over two weeks and I tried to get some one out to correct what they broke. Keep in mind they were paid for their service call, provided no service, broke my working appliance and left dirt, water, and muddy handprints on my walls. Bought a set last year from this business and it has done the work for our family of nine just great. I am totally frustrated with this Company at this time. I purchased a washer/dryer set on Tuesday, April 30, 2019. The set was delivered on Wednesday, May 1, 2019 . In the middle of a washing cycle the washer stopped washing - wet clothes had to ringed out into a bucket. The very next morning I called in for repair and was told they would be out the next morning, Thursday, May 2, 2019. The technician did arrive, told me what the problem was but he would have to go to Milgen Road to get the part needed and would be back - that it would not take him not any more than 45 minutes. Later that evening, I received a phone call from the office informing me that the technician would not be able to make it back and would come out on Friday, May 3, 2019. Well, after making two (2) phone calls for status of servicing for that day and was told they could not give me a time frame but the technician would be here later in the da; after later that day never came I made another call to the office and was put on hold while the receptionist supposedly spoke with the technician and was asked to inform me he could not make it out today but would be out Saturday morning to take care of the repair. While speaking with the receptionist I was told the technician did go to Milgen Road but picked up the wrong part and that's why he would be out on Saturday, May 4, 2019 to complete the repair. Meanwhile, wet clothes and all, I have to wait yet another day for servicing. ( My husband will not help me load the set on a truck and deliver these items back to Hester's for a refund!!! ) I am frustrated - not to mention mad as h---!! I know the contract reads they do not do any repair work on the weekends - let's see what the weekend will bring. I have no other choice but to wait for Saturday morning, May 4, 2019 to see what my Hester's day turns out to be! ! read more
