5 Stars for Tasmanian Motorcycle Hire and 5 Stars for riding in Tasmania…read more I could write paragraphs about the exceptional service I received from TMH. Looked them up online from the San Francisco Bay Area for a ride in Tasmania. I had a free weekend between meetings in Melbourne and Sydney. Not wanting to take a helmet and bulky jacket overseas TMH took care of me without question. Also they provided me directions for two long full day amazing rides from Launceston. I took a taxi from the airport to the hotel then TMH delivered the bike to the hotel and picked it up on Sunday night. Their bikes are in excellent condition. Bottom line is TMH has amazing service! I hadn't visited tasmania before and normally drive on the right side of the road, but now I'm going to be searching for a place like this to ride again for the rest of my life. It has everything I look for in a ride...very little traffic, a stop sign every 100 miles (exaggerated a little, but not much), excellent road surface (even the dirt roads), no straight roads, a variety of scenery (rocky coastlines, sandy beaches, rain forests, vineyards, wildlife, rolling green hills), and I even had great summer weather. If you're the adventurous type then this an excellent Australian Adventure and Tasmanian Motorcycle Hire is the best.

The room came with a small plate of nice cheeses and a flask of port. We have a small suite with multiple beds for the two of us; it is lavishly decorated with antiques. Fresh eggs and bacon in the fridge and an offer to pick apples off the trees in the yard. The owners are genuinely nice. If we are ever back in this part of the world again, we will certainly be back here.

Modern décor surrounded our king size bed - much of it exclusive to the hotel (you'll love the window blind!). The ceiling is probably 12ft high, and the ensuite quite roomy. The hotel now has in-room free wi-fi as well as cabled broadband. The lobby and restaurant/lounge are compact, but classy and well looked after by the staff. Hotel Charles is located a short walk South of the CBD on a plot previously part of the Hospital. It shares many of its parking spots with a number of businesses during the day, so there are signs reserving spaces for hotel guests only from 5:30pm to 8:30am. If you can only get one of those spaces when you arrive, the obligation to shift would be a downside of your stay.
