This field has a lot of good memories. It's definitely not one of the best fields I've played at as it's plays very poor, but it's where I played College Baseball and where our Program clinched playoffs for the first time.

The pavilion area includes clean public restrooms and outdoor grills perfect for casual sports activities. The paved trails cater to various activities such as walking, running, dog walking, and biking. While the trail markers are helpful, using a mobile phone for orientation may be necessary for longer distances. Although shade from trees is limited, the park offers convenient access to the river, making it suitable for fishing.

Plenty of space, the only time I see a real crowd here is during a sporting events...not the Eagles, but youth soccer practice, volleyball tournaments, or something similar...otherwise there is generally plenty of room here to walk your dog, stretch your legs or just kick back and read a book. My favorite thing to do here is grab lunch and sit in the picnic area relaxing on my lunch hour. Can be hard to go back to work on a gorgeous day, but well worth it in my book! There is one "not recommended" review...I have no idea what this person is talking about, this park is VERY well maintained. Grass is cut, the place is clean and the park ranger is never far from sight.

Though we were nervous at first about there being one exclusive caterer and an assigned day-of coordinator, everything turned out wonderfully. The Space: The Willows is simply a gorgeous setting at every turn - each room, the landscaping, the grounds. Thankfully we were able to pull off Plan A, getting married in the courtyard, but it was extremely important to us that the backup plan be just as beautiful, and it is! Though we're grateful we didn't have to use it for the ceremony, the Solarium being empty meant we were able to get ready there with tons of natural light and beautiful tile. I loved the variety of spaces we were able to use for portraits and family photos. The views, and the drive in, really set the tone. The Food: Food was my wife's number one most important line item when it came to our wedding, especially having been served less than ideal meals as vendors and seeing the same things over and over. Multiple reviews of Peachtree told us what we needed to know, and we were confident about the menu options. During the tasting, we were a little thrown off because there weren't many items that we loved, but our coordinator reminded us that they're choosing things to present that you wouldn't have necessarily chosen on your own. Our wedding day food was truly unreal, hands down the best wedding food I've had. All our guests were RAVING about it, too. The Staff: We can't say enough good things about the staff at Peachtree/the Willows. We got so lucky to have the team we did, who told us repeatedly that we had amazing guests and the vibes were high. Namely, George, Karen, and Steph made our big day possible. At the end of the night, our hotel shuttle forgot about us, so my wife and I also were able to chat more with the staff, and they genuinely all seemed so happy to be with us. This was absolutely a highlight of our day. We couldn't be more grateful to have found the Willows!

It also holds a special place in my heart because my husband proposed to me here back in 2020. It was such a magical day and I will remember it for the rest of my life (sorry for the cheesiness). This trail is super-long, so far spanning from KoP to Exton! More trail is under construction,…read moreheaded up through Norristown. My review is conflicted, though I will always inflate my stars for a park or trail of any kind. It is frustrating that there are no access points / parking lots for the trail in Tredyffrin Twp except Westlakes Drive. I love that this is greenspace, and it is a great resource for KoP, which is greenspace-poor compared to surrounding communities. But between the constant highway noise, the plethora of weed species all over wreaking havoc on my sinuses, and the aesthetic-but-ominous power station along the route, I could NOT relax or enjoy the place. It just felt dangerous. I can see this working well for joggers / cyclists with earphones, who breeze past the noise / scenery much more quickly than walkers. As for the allergens, they'll still be in the air. One really unsettling thing was an access road leading directly onto 202 along this path. The gate was open when I passed, and there, 20 feet from the path, was a high-speed road of death. Lose control of your bike, or rollerblades, or stroller, and wham. I would hope they'd be more safe about this. That said, I managed to enjoy the place for what it was worth, and appreciated the aesthetic aspect of the power station. I think this is excellent for adult cyclists or joggers, just not as enjoyable for kids, dogs, or walkers without earphones. And that goes for the section I visited, which coordinates with this Yelp listing's address. I am not sure if there are more listings for other access points, but realize that various sections of the trail spanning such a huge area, will vary drastically in terrain and atmosphere. Used the parking lot off of Warner Rd. and did a couple miles of that section. Views of 202 abound, as well as the mall, and as mentioned, the local power station. Will update after exploring more of the trail.

So happy to have found this trail! I was traveling to Philadelphia for work in the midst of…read moremarathon training and was super stressed about where I would run, not being familiar with the area in regards to safety, availability of sidewalks, etc. Serendipitously, I booked a hotel right near the King of Prussia entrance to the trail. I set off and ran 4 miles out and 4 back from that entrance (so I can't comment on the further parts). The part of the trail that a ran on was flat, perfectly paved, shaded, and just a really enjoyable place to run. The trail feels relatively quiet and secluded but still very safe. There are mile markers every quarter mile and it seemed like there were lots of trail entrances with parking lots which would make in convenient from many access points. There are a couple of spots where you have to cross a busy road to pick the trail back up, but all of these intersections were well marked with signs on how to safely cross and to alert motorists that trail users cross in that area. If I am back in Philly, I would definitely use this trail again.

Lion and I were looking for a different place to go 'stretch our legs', and were recommended McKaig. So, we plugged the address in the GPS, because, like I said, I've worked on Croton Road and never ever saw this place. Once we got there, I understand why - the 'entrance' on Croton is a small frontage, basically wedged between some houses, a creek and an elementary school. There is a visitor board, a monument and such but if you're not looking carefully it's easy to miss. It's also the entrance where there is one trail, as the trails are laid out kind of like lungs - the "north entrance" is your windpipe, which goes south and splits into two 'lobes". What's different from anatomy is that each lobe has an entrance 'southeast' and 'southwest' on Brower Road. We didn't realize more of the trailheads were in the southeast and southwest entrance, and unfortunately the day we were there the trail map bin was empty. We pulled up a map on our phone and figured it out. The trails are themselves well marked, well maintained and have a number of trail markers, along with some educational plaques. There are different degrees of difficulty, some are relatively flat trails and others have medium to steep grading so there's a variety of hiking experiences. We took a trail that is somewhat challenging, looping around to the west, along the back of the elementary school and some houses, then meeting up with a junction of several trails and a bridge. We took some time sitting at a bench, watching the groups of people on their hikes - families, people walking their dogs, etc. It's a lovely place and one we'll be visiting again. Next time we'll see about accessing from one of the Brewer Road entrances, though our friend tells us parking by those is a little more haphazard as there's no lot. For the Croton Road entrance the elementary school parking lot is directly adjacent and on a weekend day very easy to use.
