A beautiful place to walk and enjoy nature. Paved pathways that are clear of debris. Difficult hill to walk for those who may have balance issues or are elderly. The grounds are stunning. Make sure to allow time to soak in all the beauty. Noticed little critters in the undergrowth and so many butterflies. If you have kids, check out the adventure guides and explorer vests! The littles I was with really loved all the gear the vests came with (binoculars, magnifying glass, butterfly id guide). You can even visit a little gift shop with live native plants and cute little gifts. Photos are from late July.

Nice gem a few miles outside the city limits but worth a gander. The grounds are beautiful and generally easy to negotiate but, if you have a wheelchair etc., check for other arboretums that are specifically accessible. Opening day was crowded but everything flowed, mask wearing and social distancing was in full effect. From the entrance to the body of water everywhere was well maintained and a beautiful sight. The staff was informative and helpful. I was given an overview of things and a stamp in my American Garden Capital Passport. This book lists details about gardens in the tri-state area. Everything about the Jenkins Arboretum is inviting and peaceful!

A beautiful hidden gem in Wayne. The employees in the info center are kind and provided great education on the history of the garden. The entirety of the trails take a fairly quick amount of time to go through. I believe it is under 2 miles to walk the entire thing. I would love to go again when more flowers are blooming!

This is a great little find right in the heart of the Main Line! Free to enter, it's a cute area filled with beautiful plant life of different sorts, as well as a charming pond in the middle. We stopped by on a Saturday morning and enjoyed our time walking through the different trails and taking pictures of all the trees and flowers! For COVID-19, seems they've done a few things to keep everyone safe - there are signs everywhere reminding people to maintain distance and wear masks, and the main building is closed, with the plant shop set up outside. We would totally come back to check it out again, especially to see it in different seasons!

I like that this arboretum is very well manicured, and there's many intersecting walking paths you can take. It's clear that they put a lot of effort at maintaining and financing into this location, and everything seems renovated and new. They have a decent variety of trees and plants, and while there are many duplicates I feel like they laid out the walking paths and different sections in a nice way. It's not a huge place so you probably won't spend all day there, but it's a very nice place to visit and take a walk.

Very pretty and peaceful to visit. It is a bit of an incline coming back up to the parking lot.

Luckily Saturday Club was available on a Saturday mid January. Joyce Dugan from the Saturday Club was nice and easy to work with. Since they didn't have a Friday event, they gave us keys on Friday and allowed us to do set up Friday evening and Saturday morning. They did provide the tables and chairs and set them up on Friday for us which was awesome. The employee Chris was there in the office during the wedding if we needed anything. The place is really cute and was the perfect size for our wedding. We had just the perfect amount of room for the number of table and chairs we used and enough room on the dance floor. There is a little area/ private room near the bathrooms that serves as the bridal suite and also a great place to nurse my son and for other nursing moms. The price was great and I love what the money goes towards. I would absolutely recommend this for a wedding of 50-90 guests or for other events. This would also be a great spot for bridal and baby showers. And they worked so well with our caterer. We put the photo booth in the front vestibule area. There is also a coat closet when you first walk in.

An easy choice for a laid back afternoon in King of Prussia. We stopped into Workhorse Brewing Company for a Saturday lunch and walked away genuinely impressed. The space itself is massive and well laid out, making it ideal for groups while still feeling comfortable and relaxed. Even better, it is kid friendly, which makes it a great option when you want a brewery vibe without excluding the whole family. The drink program really shines here. The beer lineup was solid across the board, with styles for just about everyone. What surprised us most was the cocktail menu. They were running seasonal Christmas renditions, including an Old Fashioned that was festive without being gimmicky and genuinely excellent. It is refreshing to find a brewery that takes cocktails seriously. Food came out quickly and was better than expected. Everything we tried was tasty, but their take on the traditional Philly cheesesteak stood out and is absolutely worth ordering. Though a slight miss for the buffalo chicken cheeseteak, as it was dry and under seasoned. Overall, Workhorse is a great place to spend an afternoon. Whether you are meeting friends, bringing a group or even showing up with kids in tow, it delivers on drinks, food and atmosphere. We will definitely be back.

The large bar and dining areas will easily hold huge crowd Sadly our visit here will probably be our last. The vibe here is most definitely millennial driven. No menus - digital code to directly order from completely eliminating the need for wait staff. You order online pay online and your food is brought out. Plates, utensils, and water are all self service. If you want to sample some more beers. You must order them through the app as well. This discouraged us from ordering more than we would have had there been an actual waiter/waitress. The lack of personal interaction was disheartening. The food was decent but nothing exceptional as we sampled the wings. Buffalo chicken egg rolls and cheese steak. We would have opted to order some desert "bombs" as well but again, the lack of wait staff had us reluctant to splurge. From what we could see the venue offers lots to do with corn hole, bingo nights, live music and more but we came on a weeknight with nothing going on. I would think if we came on an event night we may have had a different experience. Granting stars for the cleanliness, possible potential for live music, the edibility of the food but for us it's a one and done.

The outdoor wedding space was surrounded by woods and had a pergola in the front. The area was surrounded by historic buildings. There was enough room for an outdoor cocktail hour, with some high-top tables and a few normal tables as well. The reception space was an all-weather tent of sorts, with fans, stringed lights, and solid structure that has plastic walls that could be connected in the case of a storm. There was also a fire pit area, which was really nice. The couple chose to make this a smoking/cigar celebratory area, which worked really well. The cocktail hour was very good. Drinks were tasty and strong, and the hors d'oeuvres (many hot butlered plus a meat, cheese, bread, and vegetable table) were varied and delicious. The main course and desserts were very good as well- not standard bland wedding fare. Your place card corresponded to the dinner choice, so at the bottom of my place card was an outline of a carrot to denote that I had ordered the vegetarian entree option. This was an interesting idea (so that the waiters wouldn't have to double-check and take order), but the waiters did seem to have a hard time serving and looking to see what each person ordered and distributing appropriately. Overall, this venue was beautiful. It is for someone who wants to have an outdoors-y wedding and reception and caters to a very specific clientele as such, but everything was great.
