Roswell Family Care was recommended to me by one of the Emergency Rooms in Roswell, and as it turns out they might be the only immediate med or urgent care facility in town. I called to get an estimate for splinter removal, and the young lady who answered the phone was very pleasant and informative. It would be $95 to see the doctor and not likely anything beyond that just for splinter removal. I was pleased to hear what I consider a reasonable fee for the service to be rendered. When I arrived, the young lady at the window was very nice, with a calm and patient demeanor. Some people are just naturally good with people, and I would place her in that category. After checking in I waited less than ten minutes to be ushered to an exam room for vitals and then just a couple minutes beyond that for the doctor to address the situation with the splinters. Dr. Vela was everything one could hope for in a physician--smart, kind, efficient, super-gentle, and obviously experienced. She knew precisely what to do and had all the splinters removed in a matter of two or three minutes. The staff is awesome, the price was fair, and the medical service was outstanding. Even though there were several people inside, they got us in a room within 30 mins. I was amazed at this clinic which is not an urgent care, can see an average of ATLEAST 80 patients before lunch. I think that is an enormous amount of people for one clinic, let alone in 4 hours. Some are angry when they walk in, because they may not see many people... remember, several may be waiting in their cars to be seen.

Most of their staff is very unprofessional and not very helpful and that's including the doctors. But unfortunately here in Roswell New Mexico there's not much choices.

I asked to be attended by Dr.Dacanay because he was the most recommended by past patients and they ended up giving me Dr. Sarah, who is always late to her appointments and her MA will schedule me on a day Sarah wasn't seeing patients and then claim she called you but she wouldn't. Also they would make me pay 150 each time I went in when I was already on pregnancy Medicaid. The receptionist love to tell you "I don't know" instead of not being lazy and go figure out your concerns. Lastly it's a back and forth game with them. The receptionist will tell you "the ladies in the back didn't tell you?" And then the ladies from the back would say "the ladies up front didn't tell you?" The absolute worse clinic ever. I have worked in a clinic for two years before I moved to Roswell and I promise you we did not attend patients the way these absolute lazy with the worst attitudes do. I literally cried because of how awful they they made me feel.
