    Hey Noodles opened up their newest location in the Yonge and Sheppard area. The last time I tried their noodles were 4 years ago so I'm glad after so many years, they still taste just good as the first time around. What we got: -House Special Marinated Pork Belly w/ mild spice , no numbing and upgraded to the sweet potato noodle. It was just the right amount of spice to it however, I found the pork belly to be a bit rough and not as tender as I'd like it to be. -Noodle w/ Stewed Chicken & Mushroom w/ no spice. This bowl of noodle had SO MUCH chicken...there must've been 6-7 pieces of chicken in there and it just fell right off the bone. -Okra (spicy). This was good, maybe I'll try the sweet and sour version next time -Pork & Chive Dumpling - Brown Sugar Ice Jelly Service was friendly and attentive.

    I've had great experiences at the other Hey Noodles locations, so I was excited they opened one in North York! Service here is great. Everyone was very polite and attentive. We ordered 3 noodle bowls and dumplings for the 2 of us (we brought left overs home). The meat lovers was good but very heavy as expected. My favorite is the tomato pork. It's probably their lightest bowl. Unfortunately this location fell short when it came to spiciness and numbing spice level. We were cautious by ordering medium for both and didn't taste much. Another set back was the egg noodles were overcooked. And lastly the soup base wasn't as flavorful or salty as the other locations. Hopefully they'll improve on all fronts. I'd come back for their $1 street noodle special from Feb 2-4th!

    I got the Sesame Dry Noodles and I have to say they were really really tasty. There are a bunch of Hey Noodles all over the city but this was the site of an upcoming Yelp Elite Event (that I did not get into) so I figured I'd check it out on my own. I was a bit confused when I first entered so instead of ordering from the tableside QR code I ordered at the counter. As a result they treated my order as a take-out order and served my noodles in a cardboard take out box rather than a bowl. It didn't take away from the taste - only the presentation and it's not a mistake I'll make again! Note though that they don't take Credit Card payment nor can you even pay via the website that you order on

    An amazing spot for Noodle lovers. We were welcomed by Hikaru, the very friendly staff of the North York branch. Everything we had was very tasty and they also offer Noodle refills . This branch is open until 2 am so you can get your late night comfort food fix. The restaurant is bright and spacious. I also like that it's close to the TTC subway station (Sheppard )

It's great if you're grabbing something fast, but the seating area wasn't the cleanest and I had to look around for a table that had been wiped down, which wasn't ideal if I am paying 21$ for a bowl of tonkotsu ramen. Food: I tried the black tonkotsu ramen and it was definitely rich and filling. I liked that you can choose between thick or thin noodles, which is a nice touch. Sides and Pairing Tip: I'd recommend getting a side of gyoza or even a Diet Coke to help cut through how rich, heavy and salty the ramen feels. Value for Money: It's a good option for a quick meal, but it does feel a little expensive for the experience you're getting for that price. I thought that the portion was pretty small compare to the location at Yonge and Eglinton. The food was pretty good. It took around 10 minutes to get my food.

The restaurant is located on the ground level of an office building, but the moment you step inside the restaurant, everything changes. You go from bright, corporate lighting to a moody, romantic space with soft, dim lighting and a refined, intimate ambiance... it truly feels like entering a different world. Bonus points for the complimentary coat check, which is a huge win during winter when everyone is lugging around massive puffer jackets. We were seated in plush, velvety sofa booths near the bar, with a view of the street, which felt both cozy and upscale. Shoutout to our server, Shintaro, who was phenomenal with his warm, attentive, and energetic service, which made the whole experience even better. We started with drinks: my coworkers ordered sake flights, while I went with their signature cocktail, the kumquat cosmo. It was sweet and citrusy, and exactly what I needed on a Tuesday night after work. For appetizers, we all chose the sushi and sashimi selection, which included 9 pieces of chef-selected sashimi, chef-selected nigiri, and aburi oshi sushi. This was chef's kiss. The sashimi was incredibly fresh, and the sushi and nigiri were perfectly seasoned and sauced, so that we didn't even need soy sauce (though they do have a lovely house-made sweet soy sauce). I ordered the Red Wave Roll just to use their house-made sweet soy sauce... and wow. I've never had sushi that didn't fall apart after biting into it For my main, I went with the roast black cod. It was cooked beautifully, with a tender, slightly chewy texture that was rich but not overwhelming. For dessert, I went with their famously loved green tea opera. It's a small green tea sponge cake layered with matcha buttercream, red bean cream, and a hazelnut wafer crust, paired with a rich, velvety matcha ice cream on the side. Balanced, not overly sweet, and the perfect ending to the meal. Overall, Miku lived up to (and honestly exceeded) the hype. Incredible food, top-notch service, and a beautiful atmosphere.

Pad See Ew had great flavor, not too oily or salty, and had great quality of beef. Chicken pad Thai had balances sweet, sour, and savory notes. Portions were generous, but expect to pay over $25 per plate. Mango Sticky rice good not great, since mango was super ripe to add sweetness. Plenty of coconut "sauce" to flavor the rice.
