    Spaghetti pork chop
    Junior S.

What a hidden gem! Food: I had the porch chop lunch special. Around 15 for an appetizer, main and a drink. Really cheap. I got the Russian borscht which was a hearty flavourful soup, the spaghetti pork chop which was the best pork chop I ever had and the lemon and honey tea which was a great end to the meal. The quantity, cost and taste is unbeatable. Service: Service was quick and efficient. Making the milk tea from scratch can sometimes take a while so heads up. I dropped my fork and got a replacement all within 10secs lol. Ambiance: It was quite full, with music on the TV playing. I love how some of the seats were not to close to each other. I would definitely visit here again. Pro tip get the lunch specials! Only con is that I couldn't find them on the popular delivery apps which might be a good thing.

Been coming here for 10 years and the owners know me at this point. I always get their lunch special which comes with a soup, drink and a main. You can choose between the Russian borscht, cream and Chinese soup. For drinks, you can get coffee, Hong Kong milk tea or lemon tea. The main comes with a side of spaghetti or rice, veggies and a large quantity of protein. They have three different lunch specials each day, and the options change everyday. Service is fast and friendly, and there is a decent number of seats. I love how comprehensive their lunch special is, I'll always be revisit!

BRING CASH! They do take debit card. Expect to spend about $20-25pp. This was a random find on Google. We were starving, I had a particular craving, so just searched up whatever was near. Pictures looked decent, so went for their lunch. The shop is upstairs in one of the buildings, so pay attention to the signs they put on on the streets. There are a lot of eateries around, so it could be easy to miss. The taste is pretty authentic for HK style cafes. I think the only thing that was missing in the whole experience was a warm dinner roll. Lunch hours got some standard meals like baked tomato and beef over rice or spaghetti, comes with hot milk tea or hot coffee, and a cup of soup (borscht, Southern Chinese style soup, or cream of mushroom). Lunch portions were huge for the pricing. You can probably share a lunch and maybe add on another drink for the other person. We also ordered the unagi fried rice, that was so delicious, we didn't have any pictures or leftovers. We also ordered a curry dish, had it serve with spaghetti, they must have just cooked up the whole box of spaghetti for one order. It gives "carb load" a whole new definition. The menu got the standard items, noodle soups, porridge, sandwiches, baked dishes, fried rice, etc. I think the unagi fried rice was the more uncommon item. My eyes landed on the lunch set, so can't remember what else was there. Had a good time, it was a good find.

The staff is very friendly and speaks both English and Chinese. The restaurant accepts credit cards, though a small fee applies. It's a simple spot with plenty of seating available. We tried the Baked Pork Chop with tomatoes and spaghetti--the pork chop was crispy and the dish overall was tasty. We also had the sole fish in creamy corn sauce with rice. The sauce wasn't too sweet, which made the dish especially enjoyable. It was served with a nicely pan-fried fish fillet.

Great customer service!! Staff speaks both Cantonese and English. Second time eating there and food always delicious! Atmosphere is cozy and casual. Washroom is small but manageable. Price also decent!

Authentic food! Hidden gem but worth the find. Fast service, friendly environment (and busy atmosphere!!) to make this a great option for Cantonese cuisine. Come for the breakfast and iconic Hong Kong dishes.

What a hidden gem! Reminds me of your typical cha chaan teng in Hong Kong. We ordered a few dishes (fried rice, veggies, seafood spaghetti in cream sauce) and they were all great! My favorite was the steak and noodles with veggies. We got the garlic sauce and it was packed with flavor--highly recommend this one! Service was great and waitress was very attentive and quick. She also made great recommendations on what to order!

You can't go wrong with a club sandwich, it was okay I'm not a fan of dry cutlet plus a thick slice of dry ham. Fries were crispy and nice though. My friend got the mixed meat platter and it was a very large serving, but quality was mid. My go to is usually the spaghetti bolognese, which I tried on a separate location and it was so-so.

We walked up the stairs into the restaurant and was greeted by our very sweet, helpful and attentive server. She quickly sat us down and made sure we got everything we needed. The food came out soon after we ordered and everything was beyond our expectations. The dishes were cooked perfectly and seasoned well. I highly recommend you giving this small business a chance, you will not be disappointed considering their great service and delicious food.

Second floor restaurant with view onto Dundas. Nice and cozy here.

Great vibe and mood at this downtown Chinatown spot on the second floor of the busy Dundas Street strip. While I've never been to Hong Kong, I've been here and get the idea of comfort foods comandeered from other cultures and given an Asian twist. Portions are large and food selections are specific to these cafes apparently. Spaghetti is an option for everything? Well ok mom, leftover spaghetti is what keep thinking of. The lunch specials change and are always compelling here. Check out the handwritten board on the wall and figure out which one hits the spot. You'll get pleasant service here too. The guy at the til always has a few words to say and is appreciative of any feedback you have for them. Definitely worth checking out in downtown Chinatown! I can guarantee that you will NOT find anything like this anywhere downtown, and nothing comes this close to a genuine HK experience according to the ex-pats reviews and I would tend to believe them. Highly recommended!

Wait, where am I? While the food is ok, what makes Hong Kong Bistro truly great is it's a teleporter to lands tens of thousands of kilometers away. You step into this cafe and BOOM you're in Hong Kong. Bonus stars for that! Anyway, on to the meal: - HK milk tea: Yup, that's the way it tastes like. - Soup: The borsch soup was nice, it almost had a sweet taste to it and good filling. - Baked Seafood in Cream: Good amount of seafood, though the cream was on the blander side (as our server wanted us). Definitely get this with the fried rice instead of spaghetti. - Beef Brisket: The beef itself was a bit tough. The curry sauce it was bathed in had a tasty heat to it. Service was friendly and helpful with suggestions. Priceline, it was ok. Worth a stop if you want to feel like you've gone to Hong Kong.

Love the classic Hong Kong cafe food here. Service was excellent and servers were very friendly. A must visit when in Toronto. Food prices here won't break the wallet.

Got lunch here! Food was pretty good and staff were nice but prices were a bit expensive (definitely a downtown tax on the prices). Their lunch special though was super affordable! Usual dishes seem to be $15-17 and include a drink soup but lunch special was only $12.95 As I said, got the lunch special; cream soup with a chicken steak + garlic sauce. It came with a milk tea as well! I enjoyed the food, it was pretty up to standard and pretty tasty. Seems like a decent place for HK cafe styled food if you're craving it (as there isn't too many around the area) but is a bit on the pricer end. Not bad and I wouldn't mind coming again!

The posters outside caught my eye, and I decided to come back with a group of three friends to try it out. We came a bit late around 8 PM, and most of the fish were already sold out except the original. We ended up ordering the Signature Spicy Grilled BBQ Fish ($40), a whole fish served bubbling hot with three toppings (potatoes, spam, and lotus root). You can choose between catfish and turbot, we chose the turbot fish. It looked extremely spicy, but the spice level was actually perfect. It was a bit on the oily side, but pairing it with rice balanced it out nicely. The fish was very tender and buttery, everything tasted amazing! We also ordered the Stir-Fried Egg with Tomato. The eggs were soft, the tomato sauce was rich. Not to mention the portion size was huge, we even had leftovers after eating until we were full. The restaurant itself was spacious, clean, and had plenty of seating. I think they were doing some sort of promotion so they gave us a $25 off coupon, though it expired pretty quickly so we didn't get to use it. I'd definitely come back for that grilled fish.

From the moment we walked in, the space already set the tone.. dark, dramatic, elegant, and beautifully designed without feeling overly stiff. It has that upscale energy that makes dinner feel like an occasion before you've even ordered anything. Food-wise, there was a lot to love. The signature apple wood roasted Peking duck was definitely a highlight, especially with the tableside carving, which made the whole experience feel even more polished and memorable. The skin had that beautiful lacquered finish, and the duck was rich, flavorful, and very satisfying. We also ordered a few larger dishes for the table, and I really appreciated how everything still felt refined without losing that comforting, indulgent side of Chinese dining. Some dishes leaned rich and luxurious, others were lighter and more aromatic, so the meal never felt repetitive. Service was another standout. Attentive without hovering, smooth without being too formal.. exactly the kind of service you hope for in a restaurant like this. Overall, Mott 32 is absolutely the kind of place I'd come back to for a special dinner, celebration, or just one of those nights when you want the meal to feel a little more elevated than usual.

We settled for eating in the lounge which ended up being good because bartender, Aiki?, was excellent as our server. Really great. Ordered the following: King prawn Har gow: standard. Not worth the premium Mott charges. Miso black cod dumpling: not good. Wouldn't order again Shredded Peking Duck Spring Roll, Sliced Vegetable : Excellent. We loved this! Nice and crunchy. Delicious duck inside. Good vinegar dipping sauce. Good volume Hot & Sour Iberico Pork Shanghainese Soup Dumplings: Fantastic and unique. The dumplings don't really need dipping sauce since inside there is a hot and sour soup along with pork. These are unique and delicious. Fried Wagyu beef taro croquette : pretty good but really tasted like a Jamaican patty Cold noodle with shredded duck : very generous with meat. Honestly a lot more than any other restaurant that serves this. To be fair no one charges this much either so it should. Flavour could be stronger but certainly decent. Fresh Mango, Coconut, Glutinous Rice Roll: nice fresh dessert. Our favourite. Frozen xiao long bao with chocolate and nut: Tastes like a mochi. Not bad. Dragonball Zen - fun name. Delicious drink.
