To put it simply, Atlas is one of the worst companies I have ever worked with. First of all, they are really really slow to print. Getting a mockup from them takes forever and any changes you ask for takes forever to get back. You always have to keep emailing them to ask how the order is proceeding. Unless I paid for express printing I don't think I ever got an order in less than 3 weeks. The worst part is the number of mistakes that they make. The first order I ever printed with them had a pretty big element missing from the graphic when they printed the screen. That client was very nice and let it go and took the shirts. After that first order I would say that 30 - 40% of anything they printed for me had a mistake. Some minor some major. Getting an order from them was nerve racking when you know there is a good chance they printed it wrong. Forget drop shipping anything to a client with Atlas because you never know how they will print an order. And when they make a mistake they have every excuse in the book. On one order they printed a front left logo almost to the armpit on 200 shirts. Their excuse on that was that everyone has a different size chest and it would look different on everyone. Great excuse and all.. but I can't give that to a client when I 100% stand behind anything I sell and the logo is nowhere near where the client asked it to be. At one point I had 2 or 3 boxes full of misprints that my clients wouldn't accept and that Atlas wouldn't reprint. I obviously had to switch to a different printer after all their mistakes. But a few weeks ago I had a customer order a reprint on an order from a while ago. It is quicker to order a reprint than to set up a new order so I sent the reprint to Atlas since they already had the screens. Atlas printed them and drop-shipped to my client. About an hour after they arrived at my client's business I get a text message with a picture of him wearing the shirt. The logo which should have been centered was way off to the left. It looked ridiculously bad. Rather than returning the entire order he only asked that the 11 worst shirts get reprinted. As the shirts got larger the placement was more and more off and he only needed his bigger shirts reprinted. I sent them back to Atlas and then atlas emails me that the shirts "are slightly off but they are within the .5" - 1" variance we allow for printing location." So a 1 inch variance on a 12 - 14 inch printing surface is within the acceptable limits of Atlas. This is pretty ridiculous if you ask me. They are so clearly off-centered it's a joke. It is my opinion that Atlas does not stand by their printing. They systematically make a large number of errors and really need to come up with a new quality control system. They make it a very long and complicated process to get their errors fixed. And based on how awful my last order was with them, it appears as if they aren't even bothering to reprint anything that is less than 1 inch off-centered. My advice is to look elsewhere for a printer. I switched the Duramexink and in the last year they have not made one mistake on anything I printed.

Riverside Paper, my usual to go refused to budge even though I've been a customer for over a year. So I called Broward Paper, at first they said they were only servicing clients with accounts because of the canary virus, and if I wanted to purchase I needed to open an account with a minimum of a $150 purchase. I didn't want to spend the $150 either, but the woman who I was talking to was super! She allowed me to come in and buy exactly what I needed without an account, I was only required to bring the exact amount of cash. I don't think Riverside has lost my business, but they lost some of it. I really loathe driving to Miami because I can only go down there within a short window because of the traffic. On the weekdays rush-hour literally ends at 11 am and starts again at 2:30 pm in Miami. I kid you not, and god help you if you get stuck on the l-95 because of an accident which they do every day multiple times a day. Basically I have to adjust my whole day just to go down there. Broward Paper is centrally located around many places and businesses I frequent, so I am definitely going to purchase from them again, and I'm eventually going to open an account.

I needed about 200 shirts and sweatshirts screen-printed for FIU Medicine. I called about 10 places…read morein the Miami/Broward area for quotes, and found that GN Signs had the best deal. I (being technologically-impaired) thought that sending a picture of what I wanted printed would suffice, but the owner's son called to explain that the design had to be done in a certain format so it could be enlarged without getting grainy. Since I was unable to do it myself, he graciously had another employee design it properly and sent me a proof within the day. I made several changes, but they worked with me in a quick manner until it was exactly what I wanted. I had the shirts/sweatshirts shipped from the supplier directly to them and they had the entire order done in about 6 business days (as promised). I was a little nervous that the lower price would mean lower quality, and also nervous because there were no Yelp reviews for them, but I was very pleasantly surprised at how great everything turned out!! And I have washed the shirts without the print fading or peeling. I will definitely be using them again, and wanted to share my experience in case anyone else is having similar doubts about the lack of Yelp reviews. Thanks again GN Signs!!
