I know and understand the construction process. I was looking for a construction firm for my grandparents master bath. When I came across an add for I was a bit skeptical about what was being advertised. I decided to give them a try because we did not want to have the construction of my grandparent's Master Bath take months to do. After our first phone call with them I was convinced they could do the job. We had our design meeting and I was even more comfortable. Their process to walk you though the design of your space was very well done and we liked what we came up with very much. The time they said it would take was longer than one week but they explained that very well to us. Our design was for a big bath with a very large shower so it was not surprising to us that it would take longer. We established the date to get started and they began right on schedule. Their construction crews were very professional and very nice to us as the construction process moved along. This made all the difference in the world. I can get rather picky with how things are done and they responded very positively with everything I brought up. I cannot say enough good about the overall product that HI -Builders delivers. From our initial phone call to the company through the very end, the level of service has been nothing short of stellar. My wife and I met David on a Saturday to look at his work pro folio and product samples. As we had some idea of what we wanted with regard to color, David was able to deftly guide us through the process with the outcome of a kitchen that is truly beautiful. David's product knowledge along with his unique sense of style combined with the quality of components used in construction - in which he stands out from the crowd - made the process easy and affordable with cabinets that are truly luxe, yet incredibly practical. He introduced us to hardware and numerous solutions for storage that made the kitchen functional and spacious - something we never had before with our old kitchen. Stellar work!! What was once just dirt and weeds is now beautiful land and hardscape! David has good ideas for improving problem areas and is very easy to communicate with. Within a few days, a full crew was on-site to start the work. As the work started there were a few areas where his foreman recommended modifications. These modifications were very positive and above and beyond the original agreement and at no additional cost to us, which made my boyfriend very happy! That included replacement of 4 steps to our deck from wood to concrete, improved fencing beyond the original design, increased the length of the sidewalk and some additional irrigation work. David had a great vision for how to make these changes so the outcome went from beautiful to outstanding! When I identified additional/touch-up work necessary, they came returned and completed it to my satisfaction within original budget. The biggest thing for me in finding a remodeling company is making sure that i am staying in my budget and not being upselled. I spoke to David, he really worked with our budget. A lot of the contractors that we dealt with the first time were like, "Aw, you have to replace this and that, this is not gonna work, you're just wasting your money if you're gonna resurface this or paint it etc. etc. ..." but this guy said, "If you want, we can do it this way and it's still going to look modern." He was right on the money with our budget -- he did not go over, he stayed well within our budget, which was perfect. His crew was here on time every day. They got it done very quickly. He said it was going to be 5-6 weeks and it was 5-6 weeks. So they got it done right on time. His crew was great. I would even leave the crew here when I wasn't home. I have nothing bad to say they were perfect from start to finish. Very highly recommended. read more

They did a great job on our sidewalk. I got several different bids for the job, the owner was reasonable, along with the details and care he provided. He treated the project like his own, and did several other small things that were totally unexpected and so appreciated! He performed these small jobs to help everything function better, and then didn't even charge me for them. He stuck to his original bid as well, which was a relief. The sidewalk needed to be sealed about a month after the project was done. I was afraid it wouldn't happen in a timely manner, but it did! I called him to check up, and he was there later that week. I was more than impressed with the work done, the communication throughout the project, and the price. I would HIGHLY recommend them for your next project, and will be calling them for mine. Hiring these folks to install my attic stairs led to can lighting and back porch renovations. With the professionalism and quality of work done on these projects it was a "no brainer" to hire them as my general contractor when we had water damage in our home. Idan was friendly and knowledgeable, but more importantly, HONEST in telling me directly that the work I had hired him for would not actually fix the bulk of the problems I was hoping it would address. He gave solid advice on how to actually fix the problems, acknowledged what was outside of his wheelhouse, and declined to take payment for his time and energy in coming out even though he was fully prepared to do the work I had actually asked of him.
