I made an appt for dip over the phone. When I arrived they did not want to do the service I…read morerequested and wanted to do builder gel. I was a little taken a back because I had clearly made an appt for dip but I let them do the service their way and use builder gel instead. The technician was inexperienced and I ended up with very thick bulky nails with gaps underneath between the tip and my natural nail. Dirt, food and anything I touched got stuck in these gaps. I communicated that I generally preferred them a bit thinner as I was leaving and gave them another chance today and ended up with bad results. The color was not what I requested and they tried to tell me it was, I just didn't 'let' them do enough layers. She asked me if it was enough layers and if I wanted it thin and I said yes. Thin, not uneven like this. Who allows this leaving a salon? This is absolutely not the place to go for dip. I've been doing dip for years and have never had an experience like this. They don't do a normal dip. There was so many weird layers I had no idea what it was. A base coat of some kind after all the dipping. Multiple layers of top coat. I have no idea what exactly was done on me. Builder gel here is fine if you don't mind them being thick, unsanitary and waiting for an additional 30 minutes after your appointment time to be seen. In response to the business response: Yes, AFTER the builder gel service I mentioned very respectfully that they were very thick and that was why I preferred and had requested dip. I allowed the technician to do her job just as she was trained. I also tipped very well for any disruption my son may have delayed her by 2-3 minutes the entire appt. The second time I made ZERO mention of thickness except when asked. I've never had an issue with dip being thick and had no reason to bring it up or micromanage in any way. When she asked if that was enough layers and if I wanted it thin I said yes not having a clue that there were supposed to be more?? 3 layers has been standard in the years and other salons I've done dip and I don't know why she was asking if that is not standard there. I didn't know she apparently wasn't done..? The color used was not what I requested. I have a photo to prove it. I requested 004 linen. I could also not stay to have the color repaired because I was not started on until 30 minutes after my appointment time. I called ahead to see if you had availability and made an appointment. I did not have any time left that that point as you did not actually have my appointment time saved. The technician was very inexperienced. I've done acrylic, builder gel and dip and kept my nails regularly for years. I'm not just a whiny customer who doesn't have a clue and your future customers need a heads up on what to expect before wasting hard earned dollars.

So my sister went here on Tuesday to have balayage done. Brandy is the one who did her hair. She…read moreinitially called back to have it fixed but decided that after them butchering her hair the first time she didn't trust that they'd do a good job fixing it so she called back to request a refund. She spoke to Michelle (who is the owner) who proceeded to call her rude and accused my sister of having had someone else or herself mess with her hair after she left the salon. Michelle claims she saw her hair before she left and it "looked great." I myself saw her hair only a few hours after she got it done and took pictures of it. She also got her eyebrows done and brandy waxed off a good portion of it (shown in photos) and Michelle accused my sister of also hacking her eyebrow off herself. I'm making the review because my sister is in fact no a rude person and didn't want to cause any problems. However I think this salon needs to be called out on their treatment of their customers. Brandy is not good at balayage and obviously not good at doing eyebrows. I absolutely do not recommend anyone EVER go to this salon. Let me also state that I wrote this review as nicely as I could not stating what I'd really like to say. I wouldn't even give this salon 1 star but had no choice. Awful awful place.

Not liking this place much, I came in to do my eyebrows and see their work on nails . The owner was…read moreso rude when I walked in she ignored me for the first 10 minutes as I was about to walk out she said "what do you want?" Knowing there might be a language barrier I went with the rude question and said just eyebrows today. She then said "you pay cash?" I said I can pay cash and asked if they accept card and she said " yes but not for eyebrows, you can go get cash and come back" I said I have cash she said " ok sit down, I'll be there in a minute " I sat back down and another lady came in I'm assuming she was a regular cause she said oh hi Glenda come sit and say he down and started to do her nails. About another 10 minutes in she said ok let's go and took me in. I wasn't happy with the outcome as everything I asked her not to do she did.. she thinned them way more then they should have been and she ruined the shape I took so long to grow.. worst eyebrows ever and even worse attitude and service ... not sure how this place is still in business.

The younger short gal with curly hair was very helpful. She greeted me and asked what I was looking for while telling me about their sales. She walked around asking everyone if they needed help. Now, as a previous loss prevention employee, this is good on several levels as it serves to help the customers find their goodies and helps the company to prevent or catch theft. The shelves were well stocked. It's the kind of store I rarely leave w/o making a purchase. I found what I was looking for and away I went. I will return!
