Our architect and the salesperson at Artistic tracked down the name and we were able to fly to Nicaragua and visit the factory while we were on our next vacation. This nice Italian family in Nicaragua runs a legit 1900's style operation. Hand painted tile, you pick your pattern, colors, background color. And you get to watch your tile actually being made in a completely hand made, zero machine, dusty floored factory with old world craftsmen. Could not have been happier with the collaboration of our Architect and Ladrilleria Favilli tilemakers. We got our exact flooring in a weathered Bone/Ivory base color, and they arranged shipping for us. Zero hassle, Artistic handled all the logistics. Globus cork RUINED my renovation…read more TLDR You are a fool if you purchase your flooring from Globus. Globus cork ruined our renovation leaving our kids without bedrooms for 6 months and costing us thousands due to delays in our project that they done caused due to disorganization and incompetence. After the expected 6-8 week manufacturing period passed I called up see if our flooring had shipped. I was told they hadn't received the raw materials they needed yet and that it was going to be another 6 weeks. They weren't even going to let us know. I should've cancelled the order but I didn't I followed up 6 weeks later to be told that they just moved their production factory but not to worry, our flooring was finished. I asked them to ship it, they told us it was in transit to their new factory first (WHY?!) They provided no reason as to why they didn't ship it directly to me. At this point I realize they are not only terrible communicators, they are also OUTRIGHT LIARS because when I followed up again (they never reach out to me) I'm told the flooring got destroyed on the way to the new location. Now I believe this was another lie and they had still, 3 months later never manufactured the flooring for us. We should've asked for all of our money back right then because they didn't even prioritize the remaking of our flooring. When I followed up again (they NEVER reach out to you) I was told I needed to be patient because there were people waiting for flooring ahead of us? What?!?! They finally shipped our flooring another 6 weeks later and after following all of Globus' instructions exactly and after 2 installation attempts our professional cork installers refused to complete the installation because the tiles were cut so poorly they created large uneven gaps between each tile, had uneven finishing, and the end result was terrible Furious, we asked for our money back. They agreed to refund our money and pick up the tiles. 4 weeks later they have gone silent. They aren't answering our calls or emails. This is a terrible company and it's run by actually terrible people. YOU ARE A FOOL (like me) if you buy your flooring from Globus Cork. I have never been treated so poorly by any company. Our contractor is disgusted. Our architect is disgusted. We are disgusted. If you spend money with Globus you will be disgusted and robbed. I received the tile but never received the tape, which was 31% of the cost of the entire order. I needed the tape to finish a project. This clearly delayed my project, caused a loss financially, and nearly cost me a client. I ended up buying the tape elsewhere in order to finish the project. After a long wait, I still haven't received anything. It's been over six months now (from 6/3/24 - 12/30/24). On December 9, 2024 they emailed stating that they had moved and that they needed to give me a refund. It's now April 16, 2025 and I have not received a check yet. I've tried calling them multiple times - no answer. I've sent numerous emails asking for an update on the refund. They don't answer the phone. The voicemail is full. They have not emailed me back since then. This is completely unprofessional and totally unacceptable. I regret not reading reviews before purchasing from them. If you're considering working with this vendor, save yourself the headache and go elsewhere. This kind of behavior is not only frustrating but totally unethical. This company has no business operating in any customer-facing industry. Steer clear!

We were happy with the results--the tiling work was particularly excellent--but more importantly, we were happy with the process! They were professional and fair, and always easy to reach. They took feedback very easily and answered all our questions. In our case, we hired our own interior designer, and Rich's team was able to coordinate everything with her so that we only had to make decisions that mattered to us.
