I, masked in N95 - no cough, went to pick up the script and the woman behind the desk asked my info, saw what I was there for and freaked out on me: "YOU SHOULDN'T BE HERE! IF I GET COVID, I COULD DIE!" I responded with "WELL I HAD CANCER!" She wouldn't help me so I went to the front desk to pay for my items. I asked for a manager, and none were there. A customer who witnessed this unprofessional behavior followed me to the front and said she was so sorry that happened to me and saw how poorly I was treated. The employee told me "they didn't have that (Paxlovid) here." I then checked the website and it says Rite Aid carries it. I call the pharmacy and wait 36 minutes on hold to talk to a Pharmacist, who was very nice. Turns out Rite Aid's supplier hasn't sent them Paxlovid so she said I can have another pharmacy transfer the script. Helpful! I called Safeway and they picked up the phone immediately. Have Paxlovid in stock, no problem. They fax over a request at 2:45pm. My husband went to pick up after 5 pm and Rite Aid, hadn't yet sent over the script. Called again, no wait time, and took care of it. Safeway, Freddy's, and Walmart all have the drug in stock and won't treat you like a leper. I posted online in the Newport FB group about this horrible experience and this employee has a long history of treating people poorly and has been reported multiple times. Why is she still employed? Why is someone who can die of Covid working behind the desk AT A PHARMACY?I Also, a suggestion: if you don't want sick people coming into a store that's called a PHARMACY, put a big sign out front directing customers to drive-thru! Tell them you don't carry the drug. Have masks available and hand sanitizer at the door! Also, call people who have the drug called in and tell them you don't have it and then they don't come for it. Problems all solved and no customer will be treated with disrespect - against Rite Aid's Code of Ethics and poor business!

He gave me a $2 digital coupon discount, but I don't think he actually made a note to check or update the price in the computer. I did go back to the shelf and make sure that the price tag indeed was for the loaf I bought, and it was. So, be careful out there, mistakes happen. But kudos for believing the customer and giving an instant "coupon".

Well, the other place said it had been filled, so they couldn't. I spent over a half hour the first day trying to reach them to tell them not to fill and didn't reach them. The second day, I spent 45 minutes talking with someone and they said they would cancel it. Sadly, two hours later, they called me and said that the Rx's had been filled. That set me over the top. Never go there because it can take up to two weeks to get something filled and you never know if employees will really be working and that the Rx will be open even though it is posted open hours. I really rate them a -20!!!!!

The last time he tried to pick up his prescription, he had received a message that it was ready (the day before), when we drove into pick it up the next day, he was told that the pharmacy was closed due to not having a pharmacist! It's time Walgreens did something about this store. Either new management or owners.

Inventory is well organized and staff are around to help find items. The store has been clean and carts available when needed. You can do self checkout if you have under fifteen items; if more than that you go where there's a checker. I love a store where you can get dry goods along with your groceries!

I had forgotten that I was paying with a return credit slip and mentioned that it was a complicated return policy, as I got out the return ticket he mentioned that it was meant to be difficult so as to deter customers from returning items. I than said to him that that wasn't good for customer relations to which he uttered "you can always shop somewhere else!" I couldn't believe what I had just heard... I'm a retired produce manager who worked for over 38 years serving the public and have received 20 Outstanding Service Awards! Had I ever spoken to customers like Terry did I would have been reprimanded and or fired! I have shopped Bi Marts in both Florence, Oregon and Lincoln City, Oregon for 8 years and have never been treated or spoken to with such disgrace by any clerk! Decent gas station located in Fred Meyer grocery store parking lot…read more They have about 8-10 pumps available. Most pumps are self-serve. We didn't see any employees pumping gas while we were there. They have snack and beverage vending machines available as well. Overall, we got what we needed, gas! The pump we used had a crappy lever on it. It kept clicking off like the tank was full, but we only had about a quarter tank when we stopped in. We ended up putting $80 of gas in the tank, but had to hold the pump lever the entire fill-up. A bit annoying.

When I went in to get them fitted, the staff immediately tried to double-charge me another $150 for the exact service already paid for on our receipt. It gets much worse. Instead of properly soldering the links closed with fire like a real jeweler, their bench jeweler lazily pinched the metal shut with pliers. As a direct result of this horrific work, the $1,800 piece broke and fell right off my hand. The ONLY reason I didn't lose an $1,800 gift on the spot was because an honest stranger luckily found it and turned it in. When I went back, an employee explicitly admitted on the spot that it was their jeweler's fault for not fixing it properly, but then tried to lie and claim I couldn't return or exchange it! It was only after I threatened corporate action that the manager magically changed their story and agreed to process the refund. Because of this store's gross negligence, dishonest counter service, and total lack of quality control, I have officially filed formal reports against this store with: The State Attorney General Consumer Protection Division The Better Business Bureau (BBB) Kroger Corporate Management Fred Meyer Jewelers Corporate Do NOT trust this store with your money, your time, or your fine jewelry.
