I, masked in N95 - no cough, went to pick up the script and the woman behind the desk asked my info, saw what I was there for and freaked out on me: "YOU SHOULDN'T BE HERE! IF I GET COVID, I COULD DIE!" I responded with "WELL I HAD CANCER!" She wouldn't help me so I went to the front desk to pay for my items. I asked for a manager, and none were there. A customer who witnessed this unprofessional behavior followed me to the front and said she was so sorry that happened to me and saw how poorly I was treated. The employee told me "they didn't have that (Paxlovid) here." I then checked the website and it says Rite Aid carries it. I call the pharmacy and wait 36 minutes on hold to talk to a Pharmacist, who was very nice. Turns out Rite Aid's supplier hasn't sent them Paxlovid so she said I can have another pharmacy transfer the script. Helpful! I called Safeway and they picked up the phone immediately. Have Paxlovid in stock, no problem. They fax over a request at 2:45pm. My husband went to pick up after 5 pm and Rite Aid, hadn't yet sent over the script. Called again, no wait time, and took care of it. Safeway, Freddy's, and Walmart all have the drug in stock and won't treat you like a leper. I posted online in the Newport FB group about this horrible experience and this employee has a long history of treating people poorly and has been reported multiple times. Why is she still employed? Why is someone who can die of Covid working behind the desk AT A PHARMACY?I Also, a suggestion: if you don't want sick people coming into a store that's called a PHARMACY, put a big sign out front directing customers to drive-thru! Tell them you don't carry the drug. Have masks available and hand sanitizer at the door! Also, call people who have the drug called in and tell them you don't have it and then they don't come for it. Problems all solved and no customer will be treated with disrespect - against Rite Aid's Code of Ethics and poor business!

Well, the other place said it had been filled, so they couldn't. I spent over a half hour the first day trying to reach them to tell them not to fill and didn't reach them. The second day, I spent 45 minutes talking with someone and they said they would cancel it. Sadly, two hours later, they called me and said that the Rx's had been filled. That set me over the top. Never go there because it can take up to two weeks to get something filled and you never know if employees will really be working and that the Rx will be open even though it is posted open hours. I really rate them a -20!!!!!

I had forgotten that I was paying with a return credit slip and mentioned that it was a complicated return policy, as I got out the return ticket he mentioned that it was meant to be difficult so as to deter customers from returning items. I than said to him that that wasn't good for customer relations to which he uttered "you can always shop somewhere else!" I couldn't believe what I had just heard... I'm a retired produce manager who worked for over 38 years serving the public and have received 20 Outstanding Service Awards! Decent gas station located in Fred Meyer grocery store parking lot…read more They have about 8-10 pumps available. Most pumps are self-serve. We didn't see any employees pumping gas while we were there. They have snack and beverage vending machines available as well. Overall, we got what we needed, gas! The pump we used had a crappy lever on it. It kept clicking off like the tank was full, but we only had about a quarter tank when we stopped in. We ended up putting $80 of gas in the tank, but had to hold the pump lever the entire fill-up. A bit annoying.

No regular checkout registers open, the aisles were jammed with vendors unloading their wares onto shelves and I found myself dodging every possible obstacle that presented itself. Anyway, at self-checkout, the damn device detected my personal bags and the prescription bag and wouldn't allow me to finish without the obvious fat ass that was supposed to be monitoring the area, finally walked back very leisurely to the area and point blank accused me of being the problem with my bags. I'm 80 years old and I don't need some damn lazy idiot telling me that I'm the problem. If he had been working for me back in the day, I would have fired his lazy damned ass.
