Great Oregon Souvenir shop [Newport OR] This store is one of the shops along Newport's Historic Bay Front. The store is located between Ripley's Believe It or Not and Wax Works. They have a nice selection of local products grown, designed, or crafted in Oregon. "Like what?" you ask... Well, this nifty little shop was more than a souvenir shop selling novelty items: tees, hats, mugs, koozies, hydro flasks, blankets... they sold anything Huckleberry and Marionberry -- chocolate, syrup, jelly, tea, honey, orchard preserves, fruit wine, fruit spread, jam. You get the idea? Huckleberry and Marionberry are an Oregon thing. Oh, and also Bigfoot... any Bigfoot stuff they probably have. Another pleasant experience @ Made in Oregon in Newport, OR. !! I had to stop by this lovely store to buy a couple more t-shirts since I was so happy with the one I purchased last summer. Their hours are 10am-5pm, so keep that in mind because we assumed they'd be open later, now that the weather is warming up. Great selection of shirts and pretty much anything 'Oregon' themed you're looking for, for yourself or whomever! Shop keep was friendly and hospitable. It was nice for her to make small talk and get to know her patrons. Very organized and clean store. Not only are the shirts cute and comfy, they also have a cause behind them. Thank you! read more

I walked through a couple souvenir shops, and I thought this place had some pretty nice designs for hats and clothes. The clothes were a little bit out of my budget as a broke student, but they were very very soft! They have some pretty interesting food products on the other side too. Me and my boyfriend always come and visit Newport when I'm in town and I have shopped here multiple times. The staff is very friendly and super helpful throughout my whole experience there. They're mugs are super cool, and we always get tote bags as well. I would highly recommend this establishment! read more

By far one of the best shops we visited on our adventure through Lincoln City, Depoe Bay and Newport. Both people working were very kind and helpful. Prices were pretty typical coast prices for a tourist type store. The wine variety was wonderful and not overly priced. We will definitely be back on our next visit to the coast. read more

If you're from somewhere else, or local to the coast, this nifty little shop and all its cousins around the state are like a one-stop shop for some of the really great artisans and locally owned companies from across Oregon. Housewares, art, crafty things, Marionberry and Huckleberry jams and such.... even a cold case full of ales, beers, and other bottled treats.... I was there in search of one of the "Clay in Motion" handwarmer mugs I'd seen back during the summer -- and found it in a left-handed version and in just the color I was looking for! (it's a mug that lets you slide your cold fingers into a little mitten-like sculpted indentation -- really clever design in absolutely beautiful hombre-style gradient glaze colors.) Lots of other interesting things to look at, and a friendly guy minding the store -- wish I had a place for one of the beautiful throw blankets they had on display! read more

Love going to their place for stickers and they often have a variety of stuff that is cool to look at. I don't mind the price but I went in one day with someone the cashier clearly knew and she was so nice and polite. Went in today and I didn't know the cashier but complimented her and just felt she was very cold and as a local I like being able to go into places and feel welcome but that wasn't the case. read more

The girl behind the counter at the cash register who is training a new person was very rude. I asked for a bag with a handle she said that was not an option. My mom asked to purchase a bag with a handle because she was also making a purchase and she told us we were not allowed to do that either. Pretty terrible customer service for someone who's trying person. I won't hold it against our state. I hope people from out of town don't think that this is how Oregonians treat people. read more

This is always a must stop n shop for us when in Newport. Great Oregon wines for sale, and tastings. Lots of handmade items like coffee mugs, etched wine glasses, blankets from Pendleton Oregon, and jams n jellies. I love this store and have never left empty handed. Made in Oregon - Specialty Food Near Me - Newport, Oregon

I've been in multiple "Made in Oregon" stores. This one had the worst customer service. They were staring myself and another adult down, as we looked through the jewelry. This does not make for a positive shopping experience. There are already posted notices you are on camera. Every other one of these chain stores I've shopped, I have felt welcomed and the employees were helpful and wonderful. This location is the antithesis of those experiences. If I hadn't already shopped other locales, I'd be giving them a worse review, thinking it's this shop. I hope people don't equate the employees here with people in the PNW in general either. We are not all rude, cold and assuming the worst of others. If you want to find regional, artisan crafted goods, this is one of the places you can peruse. I was surprised to see at least two items priced higher than the exact same products at the PDX airport. I purchased a set of earrings at the airport location, and they were a few dollars more at this one and they are the exact same design and artist. I seriously doubt Newport has a higher overhead than a national airport destination. The gouge the tourist and negative energy employees seem par for the course in Newport though. There are exceptions. I found one. read more

I found this place on our second vacation visit to the old bayfront. WOW- what a great store and very cool owner or sales person, I'm not sure, who helped me choose OR wines. Great selection of grape wines and even cooler to have a selection of fruit wines made in OR from which to choose. I got a bit carried away with these and didn't look to much at the other offerings but the store seemed to have a big selection of local art crafts.' I definately will go back next year and spend more time checking out the whole store. read more
