In fact, discounting the few dine in customers, there was a very steady stream of pick up customers, throughout our lunchtime visit. The Hibachi Steak, Chicken and Shrimp caught my eye on the overhead menu; and to the detriment of the sushi, my intended meal, Hibachi it was. Although the take out cartons seemed small, I can assure you it was packed with food: Tangy flavored steak, seasoned shrimp and a generous portion of bite sized chicken filled more than half the carton, the remainder being occupied with fried rice, broccoli and onions. So, using DoorDash, I ordered; House Special Fried Rice, Grilled Lemon-Pepper Fish and French Fries. House Special Fried Rice: As someone who loves fried rice, and has had it many, many times, I feel that I know what makes great fried rice. Sadly, theirs ranks neat the bottom. Not only have I never seen a combination plate where everything was separated (see picture), that left a slightly unpleasant aftertaste, which lingered about 2 hours. And, resulted me and throwing out the rest of it. :-( Lemon-Pepper Grilled Catfish: This was a redeeming quality, that was very good. However, the tail end was so thin, as to almost be opaque. And, needless to say, it was dried out. French Fries: While cooked evenly (yay), and reheated very nicely, they were on the bland side. Even after adding salt (a rarity for me), they were just barely okay. How it not been for the two different dipping sauces, they too, would have ended up in the trash. It's been several months since I've gotten a pizza from here…read more When I walked in, there was no-one behind the counter. So, after waiting a minute, or 2, I stepped through the Employees Only, and hollered, Anyone here!? No answer. So figuring the prep person was in the bathroom, I sat down to wait. One nice thing that COVID has brought, the aluminum tables and benches, have been stacked to one side. And, they have padded chairs about 6 feet apart. Well, after another 3 minutes of waiting, someone from the Parent Company, Octagon Cafe, came over to wait take my order. Again, it's still advertised but not offered, is the Thin crust pizza. So, since I had a fresh 12 pack of beer, just begging to have pizza to go with it, ;-) I decided on a pepperoni pan pizza. Well, the CSR had to go back across the entrance, to get the pan of dough. :-o While the pizza was good, it didn't turn out great. Apparently, someone didn't spray enough oil on the bottom pan to allow it easy separation. And, because I didn't want the pizza cut (they have a 8-slice cutter), but the cutter hadn't been cleaned after the last use. So, not knowing how long it had been, I ended up bringing the pie pan home. So, now, I'll have to make another stop to return the bottom. And, after all that fighting, the topping had shifted, making for a lopsided pizza. At least I didn't have to pay a tip (I went to add it to the credit card receipt, but she told me not to worry about it). After getting back to my place, and when it was time to cut, and heat, the desired number of slices (3 of 16), I too, had to fight to get the pizza slices off the pan. To be honest, while the price is hard to beat, after today's episode there, I'm not sure if I'll go back, or not.

And, a first for me, the celery and carrot sticks were fresh and crisp. Though, there wasn'tnot enough dipping sauce (luckily, I have Ranch Dressing). So, I give the Wings, 5 Stars. Now, the Sweet n Spicy was very flavorful, and tasted good. Though, as before, the quick Fried Rice doesn't seem to be traditional Fried Rice.
