I used to come here quite often and I would always order the cream cheese egg rolls because they did not contain crab or fish, which I am SEVERELY ALLERGIC TO!! I have to carry an Epipen because of this. When I ordered it previously it was only cream cheese, inside of an egg , roll wrapper. This evening my sisters and I decided to stop in as we hadn't had any in a long time. My sister went in to get the order and when she got to the car we bit into the egg rolls. Instantly I knew something was wrong. I looked closer and saw the imitation crab. The menu clearly states cream cheese egg roll, not crab egg roll. My sister went back in thinking that they had mistakenly given her the wrong egg rolls. The lady said to her very rudely."There's no crab, it's imitation crab". My sister tried to explain to her that imitation crab sometimes does contain crab but definitely contains fish. She cut her off and being frustrated my sister came back to the car. I then went into the store to see if I could resolve the issue, as my lips are swelling. I told the lady that the menu clearly states cream cheese egg roll and she continues to say "It's imitation crab." I said I'm allergic to fish also and she says to me. "There's no fish in it." Imitation crab is made of fish. I told her I'll deal with this later and left out to go administer my epipen hoping that I wouldn't have to go to the ER, which thankfully I didn't as it was only a small bite that I spit out once I realized there was fish in it. I know that cross contamination can happen in restaurants but this was flat out misleading. All of the other items contain a detailed description as to what is in each item. First time in for some takeout on a Saturday afternoon. I ordered the scallop and chicken meal, but asked for no rice at all and instead double the vegetables. The gentleman helping me was very nice and confirmed this twice with me. A $9.00 up charge for this request was added which took its shockingly reasonable original price away, but I took it in stride. The food was ready within 10 minutes even with them having steady traffic. During my wait I noticed some general cleaning of the space would be a huge help. I was given two boxes which I checked once in the car and one had nothing but vegetables which excited me and made the significant up charge make sense. However, the other box contained the original meal with a ton of rice. I just gave the rice away. I will say that the food was absolutely delicious and for that I will give it another go. read more

The food used to be delicious. This week we ordered 4 dishes because we had family over. It seems that there are no longer any spices added to make it flavorful. I did not dine in but I ordered lunch to go. FOOD -- I ordered the Chicken Fried Rice ($5.99) which I was excited about but it tasted horrible. The fried rice at Sesame & Soy in the Tremont neighbourhood of Cleveland is much better. The fried rice here is advertised as Hibachi online but apparently it isn't because another menu I saw just says Chicken Fried Rice. My meal tasted very bland and stale. I'm surprised I ate a few bites. The chicken was not seasoned at all. My co-workers got the lunch combo which is a combination of 2 different meats and rice. They enjoyed their lunch. I should have gotten shrimp because I think a shrimp dish is hard to mess up. Nonetheless, I probably won't be back here. If you don't live or work in the Mayfield Heights area but happen to be around here like I was for lunch, I would suggest that you visit another restaurant. Food is a 7, the place is filthy I sat down to eat and every table was dirty. Floors need to be moped, restroom has a sign that says Out of Order. I told them I needed to wash my hands to eat, the bottles of hand sanitizer are empty. I couldn't believe how dirty the restroom was, you can tell it has never been cleaned and to top it off the lady said to only flush once I would not return or recommend this place. I accidentally went to this location rather than another one that I ordered over the phone at in mayfield, and the person at the register wasn't very friendly and was rude when I was trying to figure out if I went to the wrong place or not. She ended up telling me to just order there with her instead so I did. I wish I went to the other place because when I got the teriyaki chicken, the rice was hard and bits were crunchy. To my surprise the food was actually really good. You get a decent amount of food for half the price of the regular dine in hibachi place. I just wish they offered the same soup!! Hibachi One doesn't look too spectacular and their prices are very low, so I wasn't sure what to expect, but everything we ordered was very tasty! Between the two of us that ordered, we had a hibachi order, two sushi rolls, and a few appetizers. My only complaint was I got a regular crab roll instead of the spicy crab that was ordered, but I assume that was just a simple miscommunication - it wasn't anything I was upset about! I think Chinese would have been better bang for the buck and had better quality veggies. That being said it's not bad and not everyone is into copious amounts of ginger, garlic, and red chillies.
