Steak, white rice, veggies, sesame garlic sauce

This was one of the best meals we've had in ages! We started off with fried dumplings, which were expertly cooked and not greasy. Then we ordered two bowls: one with fried rice, shrimp, veggies and Thai chili sauce. The other was basil steamed white rice, steak, veggies and sesame garlic sauce. They also offer chicken, pork and tofu, and you can have traditional, udon or soba noodles instead of rice. Everything was cooked perfectly and tasted spot on. The owners are so friendly and checked in to ensure all was well. Love the fountain drink options, which include Craft 62 sodas with cane sugar (try the black cherry!). Ample proportions, exceptionally clean unisex bathrooms, welcoming atmosphere. Please go give Soba a try!

Food was amazing customer service was amazing glad I made this stop on my trip to Cleveland.

Soba is a great place to stop in for a filling, affordable bite. You get a large bowl for a good price. I would definitely recommend getting its namesake, the soba noodle, as they are filling and healthy. I got all the vegetables (highly recommend; they're generous with their veggies which I love). I would also recommend getting light sauce or sauce on the side. I found my sauce to be overpowering and I had trouble finishing my bowl.

AMAZING FOOD If I could give more than 5 stars, I would. This place is my favorite Asian kitchen in all of Cleveland. Wonderful and helpful service by everyone there, quality is evident, not just in food but in ambiance. Clean area and free parking right outside.

Pork belly w soba, onions, shrooms, and teriyaki sauce! $9.99

Several fruity sugary Asian drinks and a couple Asian snacks- yan yan sweet breadsticks (like Pocky) and choco pies too. Easy to read menu, build your own food from protein to rice/noodle base to veggie choices and sauces. Soba noodles are served cold, udon noodles are a buck extra. Bowls run $7.99-9.99. My food was delicious.

Bland noodles, overly cooked goyza. Will not be coming back. I think they need to slow down with the cooking and care more

The food is amazing and so close to what we ate in Japan when we went two years ago. You also always get amazing service and everyone is super friendly. It's also really cute in there. Here is the food we have tried and enjoyed. Gyoza was all kinds of crispy deliciousness. We also enjoyed the Kobe meatballs. For dinner, we enjoyed the crispy and tasty chicken katsu. Love the sauce that comes with it. The shrimp with udon noodles was so flavorful and there is a good breading on the shrimp. This will sound weird in a Japanese restaurant but the star was the French fries. They are crispy and have an amazing flavorful. No fry will ever compare. Ah-mazing!! Love that kind of efficiency. She helped us choose specialty rolls and every pick was on point. Lobster roll was excellent with great presentation. The salmon roll was a standout: spicy salmon inside, torched salmon on top, finished with a dill sauce that gave it almost a Scandinavian vibe -- really unique and delicious. Beautiful decor, not overly bright, which made the whole place feel comfortable and relaxed. Great food, great service, great atmosphere. Definitely coming back.

Wowza is all I can say. The colors are calming, the seating is all semi private and with a wonderful surprise and peculiarity, though you are nestled together in "elegant diner-style booths", yet you cannot hear any other tables' conversation. Very nice. Service is swift and helpful. We had young Leo and he most attentive, regardless of our very slow ordering was... it is a lot to take in... they have a full menu with a la carte, an All You Can Eat menu, a hot pot menu and a drink menu. So many options that your 1st visit could be overwhelming. Everything we ordered was fresh tasting, spot on and presented nicely! I started w/app Shrimp tempura, fresh salad (horrible dressing... they called it sesame, nope. It was yum yum sauce), 2 Salmon & 1 Negiri, the Infinity roll, the Philadelphia roll and ate every bite. Heck, the thought of paying a serious penalty for not eating what you ordered by paying extra is a means to your mission. Eat STRATEGICALLY. I wouldn't waste my stomach comfort on rice, pasta, beverages, etc. Enjoy your proteins and fresh fish & seafood! Oh, one huge disappointment...no alcohol at all! Not even plum wine, beer or sake!!!!! Sorry, limited pics, I fotgot!

I do wish there was a better fish-to-rice ratio, but it's understandable given the value. There are few things I wish they could make improvements on. My sister ordered hotpot with sichuan spicy broth base and that did not meet her expectation. It was too oily, which made it less enjoyable. It was like half oil and half broth. I also found the paper ordering system a bit inconvenient, and using tablets like other restaurants might make the process more efficient.

Our drinks we ordered took almost an hour to come and my friend had to go to the bar to get her soda she ordered. She was also given Saki instead of the patron she ordered but was charged for patron. They did correct that and gave her patron 40 minutes later and the waiter had previously told us at the very beginning while we were ordering how he use to switch ppls drink with a cheaper liquor. Service was horrible, rarely saw our waiter and a few times we had to ask the cook for water and silverware. This was the first time I've had an experience like this here as my past experiences were always great. This was very upsetting as it was my birthday dinner celebration. The police had to be called as customers were trying to fight the hostess. It was just bad all the way around.
