Completely disgusted with my experience with Lee's Tree…read more We went there to purchase two Foxtail Palm trees and agreed to pay nearly $900 for delivery and installation through the owner, Brent, who was very pleasant during the sales process. While ordering, we specifically explained that we were replacing two dead palm trees that had died during the freeze. At no point were we told there would be additional tree removal fees. It's not even listed on the order statement. The day of delivery and installation, we were suddenly informed about these extra charges. When I questioned it, I was met by a very condescending employee, which completely changed the experience. Because of the unprofessional way the situation was handled, they ended up losing a nearly $900 sale over what could have easily been communicated upfront. What makes this even more frustrating is that we originally purchased the same palm trees from them years ago. At that time, they delivered, installed, and even removed two oak trees without charging any separate "tree removal fee." Good customer service starts with transparency and professionalism, and unfortunately this experience had neither. Amazing way to lose a $900 sale over a petty, undisclosed tree removal fee.

Two times in a row Wekiva Farms told us our sod would be delivered and twice it was pushed back…read more The first time they said it was pushed back a day - pretty inconvenient because my husband got off work to put in the grass but they told us the day before so he could try to get some work done. Voicemail from Renatta said that grass would be delivered Wednesday. Husband takes off Wednesday and starts laying the top soil. At 10 something we try calling - no grass, no answer. At 11 we try. At 11:40 I try back to back calls and FINALLY get Renatta on the phone. She says, "oh it's for tomorrow". Unacceptable. I ask her about the voicemail and she says, "yes that was me". I explain my husband requested off work and we got a sitter to put the grass in and she says "yeah". No real apology. Got a refund. I would never recommend this place, the lack of communication, difficulty getting in touch with them, and not delivering what was promised - terrible for business. When I asked Renatta what the deal was about the phones and not answering, she just said "yeah sometimes I forget" and "yeah it's just me" well your boss needs to hire someone to help with communication. Husband lost a day of work at his job, and a day of work wasted with the yard.
