This nursery is small and local. They have a decent supply of plants and flowers, and I like the pretty setting. I have been here several times, and my complaint is that the people are never friendly or helpful. Although most of the time I am fine on my own and don't need assistance, occasionally I want help with something. Whenever I track someone down to ask a question or for help, they are always so busy, and they make me feel like I'm a big inconvenience. Sometimes, I wish they would really take time to answer my questions. I'd probably buy more here if they did. Maybe I'm not regular enough to receive the welcoming treatment that others seem to get. read more

A great little hidden gem for indoor and outdoor planting needs. Came across this place while looking for a plant nursery. Easy to find since there is a sign at gate entrance to the nursery. Nice perk since it was not to far from where I live. Plenty of parking spaces. There were quite a few people here when I visited. Great selections of indoor and outdoor plants. Prices are reasonable also. Nice wide open field. They do offer wagons to help carry plants you are going to purchase. Friendly people and atmosphere. CASH ONLY! You guys listen to me.. this is the most special nursery ever and they have the most beautiful selection! It is way bigger than it looks and they have unbeatable prices. A true hidden gem! It's way cheaper than Home Depot and Lowes and this places gets all its business from word of mouth. You do want to make sure you bring cash though because this place does not take credit or debit cards. It's a cute family owned business that really takes pride in taking care of this beautiful earth we call home. Thankfully I had $11 and was able to buy this beautiful flower plant I wanted for our front porch (don't know the name) but didn't have enough for the jalapeño plant.... But the lady& supposed owner Lee said, was so sweet and said "oh just take it and pay for it next time you come back." How sweet, rare and generous is that?!?! Cute little nursery in a residential neighborhood. Be careful because you can easily drive past it as it looks like a normal house, but I ensure you that they have so much more to offer. The staff is super friendly and very knowledgeable. Parking and walking is ok dirty so closed toes shoes would be recommended. The prices are extremely reasonable and you can tell they take great care of each of their plants. If you are in the area i recommend stopping in to take a look. Remember first quarter of 2020 when so many people quarantined and took on new skills like gardening? Well this family-owned, small scale nursery is what you need to get you started. Tucked away in the neighborhood by Apopka/Altamonte border near 434/436 is where you can find tons of landscaping plants, tropicals, flowers, and trees. They have some of the best looking fiddle leaf figs and monsteras. Inside the covered area is where they keep the houseplants. I've seen begonias, lots of hanging pothos, and assortment of calatheas. I've heard from some planty friends that they carry hoyas on occasion. As you walk through the property, you can see all the different landscaping plants and spot a butterfly or two. If you plan on going for a big haul, you can grab a wagon to help you carry all the plant babies. They have some of the best prices around! But don't forget to bring cash though. The friendly owners are very knowledgeable about the plants and are happy to discuss their light and water requirements. In talking with them, they are so appreciative of the recent wave of interest in plants and tend to sell out of the popular houseplants quickly. I buy plants online, plant shops, and on occasion big box stores. Each of them have a different vibe, but there is something special about walking around outdoors, talking to some friendly local planty people, and hunting for your wishlist plant all while supporting small business. read more

Awesome customer service and a wealth of knowledge on plants, gardening, and fertilization

(If i could give 3.5 stars i would. it was almost a 4 if not for a few issues.) Overall a hidden gem and I do recommend stopping by if looking for a variety of plants for a great price. You can not beat the prices for the size of plant you get, got a plant that would have cost me $40 at any other store for only $9 from here. However there are some issues, the grounds are hard to navigate, nothing // very few things are labeled which makes it hard to find what you are looking for or the species you are looking for. There also seems to be no organization to the way things are grouped. making it even harder. When you ask a question they are prompt to give you answers, however, you seemingly feel as though the woman working there in particular is talking down to you for not knowing everything about every single plant on the earth. If you come with a picture however they are more helpful, the gentleman being the most kind, and once they can tell you are actually going to purchase something they are even more nice. I have been here a few times and each time I have been hesitant to talk to the owners due to not feeling welcome. Another big issue comes with the plants and its kind of a give and take. They have so many plants that of course there is no way they could keep up, however, many plants have visible white mold, which while not harmful, is not appealing to bring into your own home. The plants are also very root bound, often causing you to have to cut the nursery pot off and struggle to give the roots any freedom after purchase. They are bound tightly and actually going out of the pot hole by a good 8 inches. I recently purchased a 15 gal fruitless olive tree for $150. I thought the more mature tree would help it get off to a good start. Upon removing the container, half of the dirt fell of the root ball. The roots had not established into the whole pot. It appears that a smaller tree was recently transplanted into the larger pot without allowing for the roots to establish. It seems deceiving to represent this as a 15 gal tree. Disappointed in Green Acres! read more

Sure, they have varieties that can be found at the big box stores, but they also have so much more, but they also have specimens that will stand out in your landscape or home. The never disappoint. Family owned and operated. I drove from Pensacola & I showed up early with my dog, grabbed a wagon and bought some of the most beautiful plants I have seen in the area. I enjoyed dragging my wagon around and collecting so many beautiful gems. I unfortunately had an appointment and only got to spend about 30 minutes here, I would've stayed for hours otherwise. The family have been in central Florida for over 60 years and one of the owners and I both went to Maynard Evans High School in Pine Hills. Him in the 60's and me graduating in 1975.
