That comment will always sit with me.) I called around 2 PM Friday trying to take care of a bill. I was told I would get a call back at 4:30 PM because the office person was out. That call never came. So I called back at 5 PM and was told they were not going back into the office. It was already 5:05 and I was told I would have to wait until Monday. I asked what the overnight charge would be and was told $15.00. I asked if that charge could be waived because I had called earlier that day to settle the payment, and I explained this was for a nonprofit organization doing our best to use local businesses. By Monday morning, somehow that turned into $45 a night for a nonprofit. That part really did not sit right with me. Sadly, one of our young homeless youth witnessed how the interaction ended. She leaned over and said, "If you were a man, that guy would have never talked to you that way." That comment will always sit with me. Women, always know where your voice is and speak up. If that means taking it further, do it. Whether that is through the New Mexico Public Regulation Commission or the New Mexico Department of Transportation. And don't get me started on the 4% credit card fee charge for a debit card!!!

This time it was due to crappy tires on our trailer & a blown out tire on the RV. Powell Tire fixed the RV where it was disabled & drove it back to their shop to check the other 5 tires. After replacing all the RV tires they checked ALL the tires on our truck & both trailers & assured us that we were good to get back on the road. The quality & speed of service deserves 10 stars, if that were an option. I would recommend Powell Tire to anyone & everyone living in, or just passing through, Roswell, NM.​​​​​​​​​​

He let me drop off my car at 9:30 at night because I was concerned about having it for Christmas stuff. And then when he realized I was taking an Uber home he gave me a ride home and waited until I got my door unlocked and was inside before he left the driveway.
