That comment will always sit with me.) I called around 2 PM Friday trying to take care of a bill. I was told I would get a call back at 4:30 PM because the office person was out. That call never came. So I called back at 5 PM and was told they were not going back into the office. It was already 5:05 and I was told I would have to wait until Monday. I asked what the overnight charge would be and was told $15.00. I asked if that charge could be waived because I had called earlier that day to settle the payment, and I explained this was for a nonprofit organization doing our best to use local businesses. By Monday morning, somehow that turned into $45 a night for a nonprofit. That part really did not sit right with me. Sadly, one of our young homeless youth witnessed how the interaction ended. She leaned over and said, "If you were a man, that guy would have never talked to you that way." That comment will always sit with me. Women, always know where your voice is and speak up. If that means taking it further, do it. Whether that is through the New Mexico Public Regulation Commission or the New Mexico Department of Transportation. I originally took my car to another collision center, where it sat for over two months collecting storage fees without the repairs even being started. Frustrated, I called Honest 1 Collision Center. I sent them the estimate, and before my car even arrived, they had already ordered & received the parts and were ready to get to work. Once my car got there, they completed the entire repair in just four days. After waiting over two months at the previous shop, that level of efficiency was incredible. I'm extremely particular about my car because it's custom, and I've done all of the modifications myself. Honest 1 understood that. They kept my car inside the shop, treated it with care, and were professional from start to finish. They even stayed late on the final day to make sure everything was completed so I could pick it up as earlier stated as a possible finish date. It's rare to find a business that genuinely cares about both the quality of their work and their customers, but that's exactly what I found at Honest 1 Collision Center. Their workmanship, communication, professionalism, and respect for my vehicle exceeded my expectations. Lenny found a spot on the windshield that no one else could see and wiped both inside and out to make sure there wasn't any dirt/smear/smudge left. The real reason I took the truck there was to clean the weeks worth of bugs on the grill. Let me tell you, no place we've been to previously has ever been so thorough in cleaning. And then when he realized I was taking an Uber home he gave me a ride home and waited until I got my door unlocked and was inside before he left the driveway.
