We got a table here by chance as we we came at around 1pm, but by about half past the place was booked out until 4pm and they were turning customers away! The food here was pretty good, I liked the gazpacho as it wasn't creamy or thick so it felt a lot healthier. The salads were good albeit not very filling, but the vegan meat substitutes were quite interesting as it tasted so much like meat for just soya bites. My mum had the paella which is apparently a Saturday only dish and really liked it. The prices are moderate and the service was very good. One of the staff members knew English which was helpful and food came pretty quick too. This place seems really popular with the majority of tables being reserved and I'd say we were lucky to get one at lunch time without a booking so I suggest book or otherwise go at an odd time instead.

Hicuri is a great restaurant that serves primarily vegan food but also has non-vegan options. I was looking for a lighter option for a midday snack, so I ordered a coffee and a smoothie. It was very fresh and they pride themselves on using fresh ingredients. They are open all day which is a plus. I will definitely be coming back!

Instead of bread or chips, they have carrot sticks, amazing manzanilla olives, and vegan ranch dressing as aperitif.

The whole menu is vegan! They do use meat substitutes on some of their dishes, but not all. The food is all wonderful and fresh. It was a relief to have a great healthy meal after too many "vegetable tagines" and "veggie tapas". Yay for soy milk and other milks, clean fresh gazpacho and salad, vegan Spanish ratatouille, and two wonderful desserts that were so sweet and refreshing without being cake (carrot cake and tiramisu). We want to return for coffee and maybe a shake in the morning. The service is great but can get a little slow when everyone shows up at once.

They have a nice lunch set for 13 euros including starter, main, (green) juice, and dessert. Great to get your fix of veggies/vegan amidst all the tapa-in in Granada!

Appetizer of bread, fresh carrots, and a yogurt dip.

Great option from the usual tapas or if you're vegan. Milk substitute options include hazelnut, almond, and coconut milk. They also have a full menu of organic teas. You can choose either a la carte or a meal option for 12.80 euros. With the meal option, I chose a starter of lentil soup, main dish of oriental seitan with veggies, basmati rice, and curry sauce, organic tea beverage, rice pudding for dessert, and received a bread / fresh carrots with a yogurt dip appetizer. Awesome meal and very friendly service altogether. Inside of the restaurant was clean and colorful.

Colombian Spanish fusion food in Granada…read more What's not to like? * * * Much of the food was simple well executed stuff. A nice salmon on the plancha. A nice salad. Pineapple juice comes out of the bottle. But the bottle is a Spanish bottle, The pineapples are Spanish pineapples, And the Juice is served with ice cubes. On a 110 degree day, Good pineapple juice on the rocks was just what I needed. I drank a lot of the stuff. * * * The dish of distinction was the shrimp coquetel. Mexicans do lots of coquetels. I eat a ton of these back in Texas where I live. This Colombian-Spanish coquetel put my hometown coquetels to shame. It doesn't hurt that Spanish seafood is just better stuff than commercial Gulf of Mexico seafood. Good shrimp are good shrimp. But what made the dish magical is that the coquetel sauce was much more acidic than are comparable versions in the United States. You did not hear me say "lemony" or "citrusy". If you had said "mild vinegar" I might have believed you. The tart bite made the dish incredibly refreshing. Normally on a seafood cocktail, I am there for the shrimp and the sauce is garnish. Here, as good as the shrimp were - and they were good, the shrimp were the back-up band for the sauce. The sauce put life back into my body and hope back into my heart. It may have been 110 degrees outside - But I was ready for five sets of tennis ... Or maybe walking up to the Alhambra on my thumbs while juggling watermelons with my feet. I don't think they put Red Bull in coquetel sauces anywhere. But this was food that was truly reviving. * * * Minor note: Dessert was popsicles. Popsicles in Spain are strictly commercial - although artisanal ones do exist. They are thin rectangles of actual fruit on the stick with juice and flavors in the ice on the outside. We had one green mango popsicle and one tutti-frutti popsicle. I would have never thought I would be happy eating a commercial popsicle Rather than getting a chef-made kitchen-made dessert. But some popsicles are really good.

Located in the pleasant quarterone of Realejo, and close to the Moorish area Albayzin, this place offers a great variety of vegetarian and non-vegetarian food. Tapas and whole plates, it's very diverse. We had the mix of grilled vegetables and ravioli stuffed with spinach and ricotta, dressed with pesto-sauce. Lovely! Try the Rioja house-wine, it'll blow you away! Crowd (saturday) is a mix of yound and older locals as well as the same mix of tourists who don't mind a walk away from the Cathedral and the touristic restaurants nearby. The service is kind and relaxed, the furnish a mix of old secondhand stuff. But all in style. Would recommend Papaupu for sure!
