I didn't have a plumbing emergency so I was fine with changing my appointment and I appreciate the timely communication. My new appointment was the next day from 3-5. I received a text with a picture of the tech when he was about 20 minutes out. Pete the tech was very friendly explained what he was doing and approximately how long it would take. I will definitely call Bob with any future plumbing needs.

The receptionist advice was just to turn the water off and then turn it back off on when you need it. We have since called someone else. My husband would write this. But he's too pissed off. To Bob the plumber.. that tag was from the water heater. Yes that was replace properly back then. Stop trying to defend your horrible work. The plumber we had come out. Said the valve was defective. Should never have been installed in the first place.

He was incredibly thorough, going through multiple approaches to isolate the issue and leaving absolutely no doubt that there was no leak. He even told me straight up that a repipe wasn't necessary based on what he found. That kind of honesty, when he easily could have upsold me, says everything about his character. By the end, he was just as baffled as I was that SoCal Gas had flagged an issue. Rather than leaving me to figure it out on my own, he walked me through all of his troubleshooting step by step so I could relay it to the technician when getting retested. He followed up consistently throughout the whole ordeal and genuinely expressed concern that I was without gas. I passed the retest, and I truly believe his guidance played a big part in that. He's earned my trust and I'll absolutely be calling him again.

I scheduled a maintenance service at my home while my tenants were there, and everything seemed smooth with initial communication and visit start. City Wide arrived, spoke to one of my tenants, explained they had to replace the air filter (a K&N reusable one that her husband had bought), and then proceeded to do their work independently. When they were done I was told they left from where they were in the backyard and never provided notice of their departure. Come to find out, the air filter vent in the home has non-standard dimensions, so my tenant's husband said they shoved a new air filter in there and it looked very shoddy indeed. After calling and expressing my dissatisfaction, I felt only then was I given a narrative for what had happened. My impression was, they didn't think it's something that would be noticed or needed explanation, and that is cause for concern. They did come back and fix the problem, this time with my sister supervising the visit. Happy to say, they did educate her on what they were doing and fitted a new filter to the vent. They also did a very good job cleaning the outside unit during the first visit, for which I was grateful.
