The staff was helpful in fulfilling our request and very friendly upon check-in even though they are experiencing staffing shortages. We had asked about local Mexican Restaurants and a list was provided, and their suggestion was EXCELLENT (Taqueria Jalisco). We were assigned to site #6 which is a spacious gravel & stone pull-through with full hook-up. The bathhouse was clean and air conditioned, but we had to beat the workers coming home to the hot water. The Carlsbad Caverns National Park is just 24 miles / 30 minutes away. We were here for 3 nights and very pleased with our stay.

We thoroughly enjoyed staying in this park and hope to return again later this year. It is an extremely quiet park, off the main road behind a housing development. Park is 100% gravel and flat. Many spaces, large park. Laundry facilities on site but we didn't use. Mail service is available. Owners were very helpful with leading us to our site and helping us get parked. We have a 37 foot Class A Motorhome, towing a Jeep. Wifi at every site but need router and cable. The RV park provided one for us because we were ill prepared. Park is just minutes from shopping, gas, restaurants, and entertainment. Beautiful drive to Carlsbad Caverns, Lincoln National Forest and Guadalupe Mountains. Beautiful sunsrises and sunsets. Highly recommend for just a short visit or extended stay.

For our family trip to Carlsbad Caverns, we were looking for a quiet RV park close to the National Park that would be less crowded so we could walk our dogs without any incidents. (Large dogs don't look very friendly when they bark and pull on their leashes. They are a work in progress.) Anyway, Greasewood RV gave us the bare minimum of what we needed. Just 15 minutes from the caverns, full hookups in an un-crowded park. This is a no frills place: no shower facility, no pool, no playground. The grassy areas had burrs so the dogs spent most of their time on the gravel. But what it lacked in amenities, it made up for in a quiet night's sleep under a dark star lit sky, with a wonderful sunset. The owner does not answer his phone due to the number of robocalls nowadays, so leave a message on his voicemail or text him. $30 cash or check will get you full hookups on a pretty-level gravel surface and free WiFi for a night.

During my stay here, the campgrounds water spicket froze and broke and damaged my water hose, causing water to leak onto the ground. They then leave a notice on my door stating that I am required to pay an additional $200 due to a "waste of water". I immediately fixed the issue when it happened, and had to spend hundreds of dollars repairing my own camper/buying new hose/fittings etc and they want me to pay them $200 because there's water on the ground. What's next? Are they going to tell me to pay $200 when it rains and the ground gets wet?
