When I first meet Dr Davidson he was conscious of my concerns but quickly gained my trust. I am very pleased with the care I received. I have NEVER had a better chiropractor. With all the special treatment I am ready to walk a 10k for the Hope Run raising money for a drinking well in Africa this weekend and I could not have done it without the combined efforts of all the staff. I called to book the appointment the day before, the receptionist was really friendly. They were full up for same day massages but she got me in for the next day. Time's usually start at quarter to the hour. A 1 hour massage was $84. including tax, so not bad. When I showed up I told the massage therapist about my back injuries from previous car accidents and she checked out my back, the way I stood and looked at my hips. She told me she'd focus on those areas, my hamstrings, my lower back, my hips, my upper back and shoulders. When she started she putting a heating pad on my lower back to warm it up and moved it around through the massage. It was really nice to get the areas I needed fixed focuses on. Sometimes when you go for a massage they spend so much time doing a full body relaxation massage that you don't end up getting your back worked on enough. Overall it was a great experience and I'll definitely come back.

Referral for X-ray, ultra-sound imaging has helped my spinal specialist to continue further treatment including MIR diagnosis and spinal injections. Essentially, at each follow-up it was like a whole new visit with many "what did we recommend last time?" Pathetic. 2) customer service Imagine trying to get a progress note sent to your physician. It's like pulling teeth. They promise that they will get it done promptly, many weeks later you're still waiting and after calling to inquire you're met by an abrasive and dismissive admin assistant who says no note to that effect was on the chart (see point 1). Incompetence runs very high in this place. 3) questionable billing Check your credit card statement. I have a few charges above and beyond what was agreed that "magically appeared" on my statement...these are currently in the process of being investigated by my credit card company and hopefully a chargeback will ensue. Bottom line is, there are far better and more ethical places to find in the city for physio and other allied health professionals. I, unfortunately, looked for the cheapest place and essentially got what I paid for -- a shit experience. Stay away.

My intent is to be fair and post what is true to my experience, nothing more or less. I did not have an expectation of the same people on staff all the time. What I appreciate as a customer is an introduction, especially as I'd been in a few times and had every intention of being a regular client. My opinion of the website layout is just that - my opinion. I have seen the booking software elsewhere and have not had issues, but have come to believe that the array of treatment choices are what complicate it for someone trying to self-serve with this business. What I took time discovering: You cannot just change treatment type, but must book a new *time you do NOT want with the new treatment type. Next, you must go back in to rebook again for the time you previously had. You can jockey it around like this or just call. It was closed when I was doing it and I just wanted it done. Recommendation: call in and save the time and trouble. Regarding how the treatment was coded for insurance (massage versus acupuncture), I DID bring it to the attention of the front staff. This person advised me that she was new and because of this she had *called the owner for advice* when the massage claim was denied. When I tried to point out what I'd received for treatment and what I thought I booked, she was firm that the blended treatment was to be coded as massage, not acupuncture. Because this was a definite answer, knowing she had asked for help and wanting to avoid pressuring her (false claim), I chose to instead appeal to my insurance provider. Green Shield confirmed the front desk person had acted correctly. So, I thought I was getting something claimable as acupuncture, but I was not. I am now concerned at the offer to submit to a 'different option'. Photos taken are consistent with other reviews and not 'part of my complaint' as the owner seemed to think. I was actually charmed by the stained glass and appreciated the cleanliness, wanting to highlight both. The renos mentioned in the reply were not apparent to me; it was fine.
