Their horses are well trained and friendly, they practice top tier horsmanship and equestrian etiquette. I rode horses when I was younger and wanted to get back into it, so I can have my own horses someday. Shari and Sheena have been magnificent instructors, teaching the anatomy of the horse, proper tack practices, hygeine and western riding. There's a nice sandy beach where you can set up your things. If you need it there are shaded and unshaded picnic tables on the pavement and bike racks to lock up your bikes nearby. Lots of ducks and geese so watch for poop bombs but not that bad. Overall a clean park. We noticed scuba divers, fishermen, magnet fishers, kayakers, and lots of paddle boards. The water is pretty clear and clean and is on the cooler side. There are rentals available if you want to pick up a paddle board or bring your own. On the hot summer weekends, get there before 11am because there is little to no parking after noon.

Since the beginning of December, we have heard them ask when they could come this year... and our grandson, now 5, said he wanted to do the lighted trolley. Unfortunately, our kids' family had a water leak that caused some turmoil in the schedule... and on New Year's Day, there was a question about whether or not the horses would be available because of weather... AMAZING communication from the company. UNBELIEVABLE empathy when we couldn't re-schedule, and an offer to do the carriage ride. This company now feels like part of the family as they understand the tradition they started just a year ago, but will continue for many years. Turns out the weather changed and we got to go on the trolley, got to take pictures by the horses, and have friends coming to Idaho to share in this experience if they are able. Grandad and Grammy's dream of the perfect new tradition in a new home! What a Christmas blessing this trip has become! Thank you, Clinton and family for making this a dream come true! Colleen and Lisa were so helpful and accommodating even though they were about to close up when we got there. They quickly and efficiently set three of us (two dads and an 8 year old daughter) up with tubes and vests and sent us on our way. We had a BLAST! At first our daughter was timid and held on to us, but by the end she was floating along all by herself and didn't want to get out! The river was beautiful and cool, the perfect prescription. The shuttle arrived exactly on time to take us back to our car and Colleen and Lisa were there to meet us. Thank you so much for a wonderful experience.
